Pickering Honda is quite a distance away, but on a friend’s recommendation, I went there. I bought a 2015 Honda Civic with a deposit from Sunil Patel. But after 2 days I changed my mind that I didn’t want that car .. Sunil gave me no hassles despite the fact that the 2015 car was already registered. Sunil took his time to give me the advice on a new car on lease terms. Sunil was very thorough, took the time to explain everything about the lease of a new car, helped me understand various pricing options and gave me a great deal.
Sunil’s knowledge, friendliness, and approachability made mefeel comfortable throughout the entire buying process.
I highly recommend Sunil Patel!

Last month, I was in the market for a new car and my husband and I were doing our shopping around for a sedan. A few options were on the list then we visited Pickering Honda as it was recommended by a friend. The outstanding level of customer service that i received from the second I walked into that dealership, was like none other I have ever seen while doing my car shopping!!
Brad O and John C were so very helpful from taking me out for a test drive, working with me through my decision process, and being honestly 2 of the best in the business in my opinion!!!!
As a woman who is a Senior manager in the customer service industry as well, service is a contributing factor when making any purchase decision and if there was a higher rating than 5 star, they would receive it!!
I would and will recommend Pickering Honda to anyone out there that is in the market for a new vehicle. I ended up getting the 2016 Honda Touring and couldn't be happier with this car!! It truly is amazing ! I was set up with a courtesy car until mine was ready and the gentlemen in that service area are great too! Great senses of humour;)
If you want to deal with genuine caring, down to earth, non pushy salesmen, and a team that makes every minute of being in the dealership a great experience, from the moment you walk in, to after the purchase of your car, go see these guys!!!
I live 20 mins away and there are 2 Honda dealerships closer to my house but will do the drive for service and maintenance to continue to receive this kind of service!!

Worst dealership and sales team. With a total lack of commitment to their clients It's a wonder they are in business. Of course perhaps gouging their clients may explain how they make a profit. Stay away and go deal with another dealership
Usually I will take my car to Action Honda but because I relocated to Ajax I decided to take it to Pickering Honda for the recall service and my Battery under warranty to be replaced. Action Honda wanted me to bring it to Scarborough but I said no because Pickering Honda is close to my house. Action Honda gave me an estimate of $70 to check and replace the battery. I told the service guy at Action Honda that I will take it to the one by my house because it is easier and I can just drop it off. Action Honda issued me a copy of my receipt. I went to Pickering Honda, upon arrival, I spoke to a gentlemen who told me that they have to check then I said OK. Everything took about 2hrs 15minutes. After the recall was completed, the gentlemen told me that they have to replace the battery. The battery is under warranty but was replaced for the same price I brought it.
2014 New battery $100 Vehicle with 131,053KM 5yrs warranty Total $134.98
2016 Replaced battery $ with warranty 178 050 paid more Total $161.05
They checked and find out it was the battery, they still charged to check. I paid more than when I first got the battery. Big time rip-off I am never going back to Pickering Honda. New battery at Canadian tire will cost me less than $100 to less of warranty.

Fantastik experience. I thought Micheal Rootenberg was the best salesman I have ever delt with. He went out of his way to look after my needs and I would reccommend him to anyone looking to buy a car.

I could not be happier with the experience at Pickering Honda.
My first impression of Devon the sales rep, Buddy the financial service manager they was warm and welcoming , they helped me to pick out the car I loved a 2015 honda civic and ensured that I was getting the best deal possible etc.
Both these guys provided exceptional service. They were patient and persistent in helping me through the process of becoming a happy and satisfied customer. It was the best Christmas and New year's gift ever. I would definitely recommend anyone to purchase there vehicle there and seek assistance from those two amazing guys Devon and Buddy.

Bought two cars in the last two years from Michael Rootenberg @ Pickering Honda. The service was fast and efficient in both cases.
I am really satisfied with my service visit at Pickering Honda. The customer service given by Krystle was excellent as she took my key for service and also the way she explained all work performed once my car was ready. By the way, the dealership looks really nice and clean! I had to take a picture right across it. =)

We went into Pickering Honda approximately one week after their moving weekend to their new location. All the new car salespeople were busy at the time so we dealt with Janice who is a used car salesperson. Janice was great and worked with us to find the vehicle (CR-V) we wanted at the price we wanted. One week after we picked up the CR-V, we brought it back in for service as it needed a slight alignment adjustment. Very fast service, clear reporting on what was done, and a freshly cleaned vehicle returned to us. This is our second vehicle from Pickering Honda and our next, probably in a couple of years as the Civic has 430K on it, will also be from Pickering Honda and Janice! Great service in sales, and great service in service. Thanks Pickering Honda!
i have been a customer of Pickering Honda since 2012, therefore they were my first and only stop when I decided to go with a new 2015 model. The sales person George E. was nice enough , although he seemed a bit distracted and confused about some details regarding the CRV I was interested in. Since I have been a customer of this dealership in the past, I was hoping my loyalty would be considered when negotiating for the new CRV. However, this was not the case . The dealership tried to hustle me into a bad deal, which I knew was not in my favor since I had done my homework and research before heading out to lease a new car.
The thing I found most offensive, was the figure of $ 7,500 which they claimed was the damage on my previously leased Civic, which I was returning . I had taken meticulous care of this car for the three and half years that I had it in my possession, and other than a broken drivers side rear view mirror , there was practically no damage .
I can appreciate the fact that they were trying to make as much money as they could from me, but I do not appreciate being treated like a fool. Claiming that I had incurred $ 7,500 in damage to my previous vehicle , was not only ridiculous but an insult.
Another unpleasant experience was my interaction with the business manager. When signing the lease papers for the new CRV, I was told by him, that the payment for the Civic which I was returning would not be debited from my bank account and would be replaced by the payment of the new CRV. However, later on I discovered that both payments had been debited from my bank account. When I called the business manager, he claimed that it is not his job to stop the payment of the previously leased Civic, and that it was my responsibity to call Honda Finance and put a stop payment .
In closing, I am certain that I will not be returning to Pickering Honda and will not be recommending it to my friends and family.

Broken heated windshield. Service Dept. advised 2 weeks backorder on original Honda Windshield. I agreed to the 2 week backorder and asked for the windshield to be ordered. I was required to pay full price before order would be placed (as per Pickering Honda policy). One month later windshield still on backorder. Spoke to Service Manager who advised that an after market windshield is identical in quality. Requested work to proceed to replace the windshield on that basis. Windshield was order and installed within 4 days of speaking to the Service Manager.
Feedback - Service Dept. should have provided this information with respect to quality of replacement windshield at the time of original equipment backorder identified and continued to be on backorder (current backorder date is January 2016). Invoice provided for work completed showed no breakdown with respect to material and labour. However cost of replacement windshield (non-Honda original equipment) was more expensive than the original price quoted including labour. At this point I'm just happy that the work is complete.
