Before moving to Canada, Chic Soaps President & Founder Irina Marchenkova spent twelve years as an aesthetician for some of Russia’s most famous political and public figures. While in this industry, she gained experience with high quality products, and excellent quality of professional service.

When Irina moved to Victoria, she instantly noticed that the colourful, luxurious soaps she came to love in her native Russia were nowhere to be found. Chic Soaps is excited to be able to infuse Victoria with an exotic and unique variety of soaps and luxury bath products. All of our products are made with the highest quality ingredients to achieve the ultimate experience in relaxation and skin care. We want Vancouver Island to look at soap differently. We’re redefining what handmade soap on Vancouver Island can look like. Our visually exciting soaps are made from natural ingredients, like pure essential oils coconut oil, shea butter and beautifully natural fragrances.

Chic Soaps works with resident soap artists to create one of a kind handmade soaps and skin care products in small batches. When possible we source ingredients from Vancouver Island such as lavender & honey. Our soap artists only use products that benefit the skin.
