Ecogreen Landscaping and Tree Services Inc Reviews (6)
I hired Ecogreen to take down existing Christmas lights which were on my 40' blue spruce and replace with new LED's. Martin, James and Braydon were very professional, pleasant and helpful. That evening I tried the lights and unfortunately, a few strands did not work. I spoke with Martin that evening and he was kind enough to fit me back into his schedule and had James & Braydon return a few days later. Martin made it right and ensured all strands were working before they left. My tree is now lite and looks "FAB-U-LOUS". Martin, thank you again for making it right, I truly appreciate and it means the world to me!
Merry Christmas and all the best to you all!

I hired Eco Green Landscaping to plant trees and large shrubs on my property. The job from start to finish was done professionally. Martin was a great person to work with. He took the time to help us with location and type of trees that would work for our application. I would highly recommend Eco Green to my friends and family.
I hired Ecogreen and Martin Lafleur on many occasions, and they are detailed, hard working, and very reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone requiring their services. You see, I've seen negative reviews on Homestars about them - all untrue. His ex-wife (very ignorant and spiteful) has posted and encouraged her friends to post, bad reviews about Mr. Lafleur. Until such time sites conduct due diligence on complainants, companies fall prey to these tactics. Meet with them and form your own opinion, you will quickly agree, they are well trained and reputable.
The crew arrived on time and was extremely professional for a multi-tree job. Two climbers were supported by two ground crews. Good communication resulted in quick, safe work, lowering sections of limbs without damage to smaller trees or fences. They piled the limbs near the chipper to minimize noise to the neighbours, and did a good clean-up, for a reasonable price. I will use them again.
Planting, mulching and fabric installation
I hired Martin for the service of planting cedars, mulching, excavation and landscape fabric installation in the early spring. He and his team arrived early in the morning and Martin left after telling his team what to do. After they installed the landscape fabric, I found some of
my plants were completely covered by the fabric in darkness. I told the team about it and I showed them pictures that I took in the previous summer so they could locate where the plants were and simply cut a hole for the plants to grow. Martin came back and saw I was talking to his team. He was upset because he thought finding the plants and making a hole was a waste of time. He was not happy with the speed of his team so he told me to go back to my house and let the guys work.
In fact, I left the team to do their work most of the time and just came out to check the progress and found they did not leave holes for my perenials as promised so I tried to work it out with them.
Planting 5 cedars- they just digged and didnt put new triple mix soil provided by me, they didn't care if the root ball fitted into it or there were stones and sand beneath. They just planted them there but cutting away part of the root balls. All of them died in a few months.
Mulching- the shady side of the garden where they started to mulch, had a few inches thick of mulching. By the time they worked on the very sunny and dry part of the garden, they found the mulch was almost finished, so they put a very thin layer, which was less then half an inch and left. I had to buy more mulch and fill by myself later.
Martin is very rude and wouldn't complete the work as what he discussed with me at the beginning. I would not recommend Martin or his company to anyone. Very unprofessional and not certified at anything they do.
Worst company I have dealt with.

I hired Martin Lafleur of EcoGreen Landscape & Tree Service. I had them remove a very dangerous tree that had overgrown over my garage. I was extremely satisfied with the results and their pricing was the best I got from three quotes received. I recommend them to anyone searching for an arborist.
