I have selected Services des Espaces Verts among many other lawn care contractors because their website offered TrueNatural service with only organic fertilizers.
The very first service they provided was not organic. The technician who performed that service put on my lawn warning signs of used pesticides. I called to the company asking why my lawn was treated with pesticides. They explained that they did not realize that I wanted organic service and therefore charged me for the whole season only for the regular non-organic service. I made an additional payment to cover the difference in the price between organic and non-organic treatments for all remaining services, and the next scheduled service was really organic.
After the third service I found again on my lawn warning signs of used pesticides. I called to the company to ask what is going on. They told me that I have nothing to worry: technician has applied only organic fertilizers and by mistake put one inappropriate warning sign. In the reality that technician put not one but several warning signs and even marked in the invoice the exact name of the pesticide he used. At the same time I noticed that the company removed TrueNatural organic service program from their website. I could not believe in the story of "inappropriate warning sign" and decided to cancel all remaining services.
At the beginning I was refused to get refund - they argued that they do not issue any refund after the season has started(!), but finally they promised me to refund my credit card for remaining prepaid services in the next several days. That was July 21st. Since that refund did not arrived. Aug 3rd I called again, and they promised refund in the next 2 weeks. Today (Aug 19) I called in the 3rd time, and they again promised me refund in the next 2 weeks.
