Marty, the owner/operator of the firm, is as good as it gets. Timely, honest, and reasonable pricing. Now here is my story.......Sunday morning getting back from getting bagels and my garage door only partly opens. After my involvement, the sprocket to the motor flies off and I must get a new motor. The motor has not been repaired/replaced since I moved into my home in 2003, and the motor is a 2000 year model so I know a replacement was in the near future. But on a Sunday! I was worried I would have to leave my garage unsecured all night and even worse, take a day off of work to coordinate a repair. I used yelp for the first time to research something other than food, and came upon Marty with Absolute Garage Doors. One phone call (he answered on a Sunday within a few rings), I explained I needed a new motor, and he quoted me a price. He gave me a timeframe that he would arrive at my house, and actually arrived timely within minutes of the stated start timeframe.....fantastic! Marty explained everything about the install in detail as we chatted while he worked. Unlike most contractors, he is very personable and seemed to enjoy his work and discussing the repair/replacement. Upon completion his quoted price in our initial phone call was also the actual billing price, which is a definite positive. Marty even took the time to program my vehicles to open the garage door after he thoroughly cleaned up his work area. I have plans to replace my garage door next, and Marty will be definitely who I call. I could not have had a better experience.

After researching several Garage door servicers on the internet, I contacted Absolute Garage Door. Marty gave me an estimate over the phone where other servicers gave me some long winded explanation on how technical it was to determine what type of spring replacement I would require. When Marty arrived he was very knowledgeable and you could tell he had been doing this a long time.......very well trained. Quality of work is great, and Marty didn't try to preassure me into purchasing any additional work than needed. He even went as far as to inspect my garage motor at no additional charge and adjusted for optimal performance. Price was very fair.

My garage door in my new home in Ladera Ranch was installed too low for my SUV to access the garage. Several letters from my association over the past few years prompted me to fix the problem. After calling several local garage door companies and being told it could not be adjusted to allow access Marty from Absolute came up with a solution. He was able to remount the door and tracks 18" higher. Hopefully builders will take note and use more knowledgable garage door installers. Marty was very honest and forthcoming with options and details and the first service industry professional I have ever had show up on time. I would defiantly recommend him to my friends.

Our garage door spring broke and was coming off the railing. Marty came out right away. He fixed it within an hour. He explained everything thoroughly. There were some parts that he said that needed to be replaced, but after inspection he told us that the parts were fine. Honest!

Marty from Absolute Garage Doors is a real pro. Both of my garage door's two main springs broke at 6:00pm on a Sunday, I called him on a neighbor's recommendation, and he was more than happy to come out that evening. Marty was at my house an hour later, and did not even charge me extra for the Sunday evening service! Marty knew exactly what was wrong and exactly how to fix it. He put on a larger, safer spring than the cheap-skate contractor who was hired by my home's builder put on originally. Marty explained to me how the safety features should work and tested it right in front of me. He's also just a really nice guy and we talked about our motorcycles for a while, too. I now consider him to be "my garage door guy," and will be recommending him to my neighbors and family.

I had a nightmare of a problem. My garage door came off the rails and was hanging half way down and would not move. It was 8 p.m. and I did NOT want to leave it stuck open all night. I called Marty at Absolute Garage Doors, who came to my house and worked till 10 p.m to help me out. How many business people will come over at that time of night...NONE, unless you are paying them and arm and a leg. Well, Marty doesn't work that way. His work was EXCELLENT and his price was surprising reasonable. I can't say enough about the guy...give him a try.

A couple of months ago our garage door malfunctioned and it would not open. After calling several companies and getting quoted high prices, we felt comfortable with our phone conversation with Marty and arranged for him to service our garage door. He came over very quickly, punctual in the time he quoted and fixed our door in a very timely manner. He replaced the springs, checked all our hinges and checked to make sure it was operating correctly. His rate was reasonable, very much what he quoted over the phone and didn't add any of those 'hidden charges' so many companies do or try to upsell us anything. Nice guy, good at what he does! I don't know what else I can add to the awesome reviews Marty already had....but he and the guy with him (sorry didn't get his name) were awesome. The motor on the garage door started smoking Thursday night, called him Friday late afternoon around 5pm and said he can come on Saturday around the same time. Just really nice guys, we felt comfortable with the quotes and the equipment installed. He made sure the door was in perfect working condition and even added a key pad for outside at no charge. I would recommend Absolute Garage Doors in a heart beat. Great job guys, thanks again!

I was suspicious when I saw the 5 star rating but I must say it was deserved. Marty (owner operator) knew exactly what was wrong right away and went right to it. He came pretty much at the time he had promised on a Saturday with about a 4 hr warning. The problem was a broken cable that should have been replaced when the last guy had come in to replace the springs. The price was reasonable given it was a weekend and such short notice. My home insurance (First American) called 4 people and none wanted to come on a wknd.

We contacted Absolute Garage Doors based on their Yelp review. (We had contacted another company prior, but they had dropped the ball on our order! We placed an order with them, which they made us wait for 3 weeks... only to find out that they never ordered it at all!)
We had Marty remove our old garage door and install a new carriage door. He was prompt & courteous, offered us a reasonable price and got the job done. You might find a cheaper price elsewhere for a new garage door installation, but you won't get Marty's customer service or his attention to detail.
I highly recommend him!!

Marty came out today to replace 2 broken springs and worn out cables. He did a great job and we are happy with the work and service. When I called this morning and let him know I needed the job done asap, he offered to come out right away. He called me after his other job was completed and let me know he's on his way. He completed the work in just under an hour. So, basically everything from the first call to completing the job was all done within the same morning. Can't ask for more than that. He gave me a lifetime warranty on the springs, 10 year warranty on the cables and 30 day labor.

I've got to say, working with Marty was a great experience. He answered the phone personally, which I really like, and he was early rather than late, which is an added bonus to me. And then he was very knowledgeable about the doors. This was my first time using him, and I was very impressed by his knowledge of how a door is supposed to go up and down. I had no idea there was so much to it. He was in and out quickly, and he didn't overcharge me or try to upsale me. All in all, a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Absolute to my friends.

Marty was excellent. He showed up within the agreed time window, quickly diagnosed the problems left by Precision Garage Doors, detailed the garage door opener options I had, answered my questions, and went right to work. I would highly recommend him and Absolute Garage Doors. Work was finished inside of 2 hours, including fixing all the problems left over from a prior repair by a company that totally hosed me. Marty's thorough work found one of the cables picking up the door was frayed and ready to snap. With a 2-year old son and a little girl on the way, the last thing I want to worry about is my garage door. Thanks Marty for clearing that problem for me.

Great service and work! I've used Marty twice already and you get exactly what he tells you. Very prompt, friendly, hardworking and professional. He helped install a Jackshaft opener. Cleans up after himself as well. Would definitely recommend again.

Marty was creative and capable enough to come up with a way to repair it with a steel plate and it has been working perfectly. Marty is a great guy with a great attitude and was a joy to work with. We came home from out of town and couldn't open our garage door. We realized that the spring broke and needed to get it fixed ASAP as we were also having issues with out front door lock. We called Absolute Garage Doors and Marty answered right away and gave us a window which was only an hour after we called. He arrived, fixed the problem and was very nice. Definitely recommend him.

Amazing same day service! Our garage was unbalanced and Marty came out within 20 minutes of me calling and fixed it in another 20 minutes. He didn't overcharge us and I felt I paid a good price for what he did. He's honest and upfront and I'll definitely call him again for any help with repairs or new installation.

Our spring broke and we couldn't open the garage door. We needed someone to come out quickly. Absolute had the quickest response and came out within 3 hours. Marty is great! He examined our garage door and said that the installation was incorrect to begin with. He offered to talk to our builder over the phone and explain his findings. He is right! The builder's rep came with the garage door installer and fixed it for free although it is out of warranty. I will definitely go to Marty in the future for garage door problems.

This is also my second time with Marty. The first time he replaced the door and spring, and now, several years later a new motor.
