Poor customer service
So, I found an awesome car.. Low mileage.. great price.. wrong dealership. Acura of North Toronto is a joke.
Saw and bought it Monday. Paid full price. Picked it up Saturday. Salesman, Mark Zehtabi’s last words – “any concerns, just call me”.
There was a recall on the car – which he said they would do – forgot to ask when I left. And when I checked the oil dipstick at home, it was about an inch over the full mark and smelled badly of gas. Called him about an hour after we left. He was busy – left a message. No response. Called and left messages for him on his voice mail Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Friday – OK – enough is enough. Called and asked for the used car manager. Spoke to Ali Naqvi. Says to put my concern in writing and he will deal with it. I did so that day. No response from him. Emailed him again on Wednesday. Said he will confirm with the service department and get back to me. Could you not have done that in the last 3 days? Finally after 2 more messages left for Ali (Mark never did call me back), he says that there was no recall outstanding, but they would do an oil change for me if I brought it back to them. Funny. The CarFax said that there was a steering recall. Contacted a local dealership as I live near Hamilton, and wasn’t prepared to drive the car back 70KM so they could deal with the over-full, stinky oil. Ali offered to contact a dealership in Oakville for the oil change. Still too far to go. Image Honda agreed to do an oil change for me and ordered parts so that the recall could be dealt with in the following week, in case it wasn’t done and I agreed to pay for an oil change.
Dealing with Image Honda was a dream. They call Acura North Toronto on my behalf. Acura told her that the car was not ever serviced there. Image Honda dealt with all my issues. Dropped me off and picked me up. Explained everything. Amazing.
The steering recall was not done as promised. And now the oil does not smell like gas. It is on the full mark – not over. The way it should be.
I cannot believe in this day and age that I would be treated this way. Once they had my money, I was treated like I didn’t exist. Typical salesman. Never again.

Friendly dealership, professional sales, and good experience
I bought a 2010 CSX from sales person Mark about 3 years ago the reason I am writing a review 3 years later is I am still so happy with my car no major problems besides normal wear and tear (brakes, tires)
the only part of my service from them that was slightly irritating was the finance man "Tommy" he was a little too persistant on extra warranties which as a young woman could not afford and turns out I'm glad I didn't since my car is still doing great! Overall great service and prompt assistance! Would go there again!

From the moment that I contacted Acura of North toronto.I have been able to receive information and responses very quickly from Roger Yip. As a result, I was able to acquire the automobile that I wanted and I am thrilled with my purchase! Thanks, Lucky, and everyone else at Acura of North toronto.
Jason Zaborsky is an exceptionally helpful sales & leasing specialist. He was true to his word and kept to everything that he has promised us so far when we purchased our used MDX from him in May 2014 and traded in our older vehicle. The level of service and his attention to detail is truly exeptional. I would give him 5 stars on customer service and 5 stars on helpful advice. He even helped me set up and program our MDX, since I was not familiar with the bluetooth functions. Jason is the reason why we bought our MDX at the North Toronto Acura location.
I am currently purchasing our winter tires from him and will continue to service the MDX through the dealership as long as he is there.

Even if you don't want to drive an Acura, you MUST purchase or lease one at this dealership. The level of service is exceptional. Our sales person, Jason Zaborsky, is still by our side, 1.5 year after purchasing the car. He has openly offered help and support in any situation. I cannot thank him enough.
Also Alberto and Shab at service department have always been wonderful and very professional. I am very pleased with the quality of service at this dealership. Other service providers should learn from you.

Went to this dealer last week for my *free* oil change as promised by Wallace a year ago when I sign the lease contract. About a year ago, I was considering to lease between the ILX & the BMW X1. Since BMW offering “All factory-recommended maintenance at no charge for the first four years or 50,000 miles”, Wallace said he can somehow match them & told me just to call him when I need an oil change. I thought that will be nice since I have driven Acura for the last 10 years. Stupid me! I did not ask him to put that coverage on the contract (sounds like it’s not a big deal for him) so I signed it. Last week when I went to pick up my car, he told me that this is the 3rd oil change & is not cover. He said is impossible for him to promised cover oil change for my 48 months lease period after his 20 years experience in this industry. I don't care how long you have been in this industry, this is what you promised. If you cannot keep your promise just don’t border made one. I try to remind him about my discussion back then, he said if that the case he will tell me to go to BMW. Really?! Now I got it. I have no proved of what he had promised & so upset even he covered this time. Buyers, if you decide to sign a contract with this dealer/salesrep, think twice. Make sure whatever they promised was listed on the contract BEFORE signing. After my lease end, I will never deal with Wallace or go to this dealer again, NEVER!!

I purchased the new 2014 Acura MDX from this dealership and I swear everything was so simple and transparent. I hate when I go into a dealership and it takes so long to negotiate and go back and forth but this dealership puts their best foot/price forward and it is really hard to say no. And I can appreciate that. Everyone there gets along like a family and is not in competition with each which is also nice. They don't come off as 'salesmen'. I would definitely recommend you go here before any other place. Be prepared though to purchase because they do give the best deals in town.
Went to this dealer on Saturday night, signed a contract under the high pressure. End up we changed our mind so we went back to the dealer in the very early of the Monday morning. Asked for the option and offered a deduction of the deposit. The sales manager David Yip mentioned he understand our situation and he said he was a reasonable person, told us don't worry, lier. He promised us to call back in one day, silent. We checked the OMVIC, the deduction of the deposit is allowed but only based on a proven expenses. They did nothing to the car yet, so the expense should be minimal. This dealer, David Yip, Wallace Wu, decided to keep all $1,000 of our deposit. Buyer, if you decide to sign a contract from this dealer, think twice. I will never go to this dealer again, NEVER.

With no positive end result I made three phone calls to the service department; answering machine the first two times, on the third call I actually got a general receptionist who switched me over to a gentleman in service who then said I needed to talk to an appointment coordinator. Guess what--got the answering machine again.
It's a little difficult to book your car in for service, if you can't even reach someone in service!

I just left the Acura of North location and I must say that I was tollay blown away by the service I just received!!!! Frist off. I am not a customer of this location but after today i will be. I had a seized bolt on my rear lic plate holder i tried to remove it myself but no luck. I drove into your drive-thru area and as greeted my a lady Tina,I expalined my situation to her and immedietly she got a tech (Sat?)who was able to finally get the bolt loose. I was so impressed that you were able to accomadate me with no questions asked. Just so you know I have changed my plate holder from my previous dealership to Acura North and look forward to my next service experience. Thank you Tina and Sat!
I just found out about this site, so I'm posting my experience of purchasing my Acura TSX at the beginning of the year. The person I spoke to about purchasing a new car was Shaffat (Sunny); he was very professional, gave me a good deal and delivered on everything which we agreed on. It was a pleasure dealing with a salesman that was honest, showed integrity in dealing with his clients and did his best to assisst them.
Just leased a new RDX from Acura of North Toronto and wanted to say that the experience was as positive as could be imagined. Most of that was due to our salesperson Jason Zaborsky. I don't mind saying that we shopped around for MANY makes and manufacturers and even more than one Acura dealer and by far we had the most confidence and the greatest rapport and the most amount of trust with Jason than any other individual we dealt with over the past month. He was knowledgeable and more to the point I believed we got the straight goods from him, not always something you can say about the proverbial "car salesman". Thank you Jason and thank you Acura of North Toronto.

I've met Wallae for about 10 years. I first got a 2003 TSX from him, and I was already very happy. This is actually my 3rd car with Wallace. The service his provide is amazing. I feel helpful when talking to him. All questions he will find out answer for me and comfortbalbe that if I will encounter probem, he will try his best to solve the problem for me. I will recommend Wallace to my family and friends, and actually, I've already been doing that.
