We recently got married on june 17th and we had our reception at Candles. We dealt with Shaz one of the owners. From the beginning he had great customer service and helped us customize a special evening our guests would remember. The reception was perfect!!

Over the months Shaz followed up on our concerns very quickly. He is a professional and specialized in event planning. This guy knows how to plan a wedding!!!!

The venue was perfect and our guests are still talking about the food. The menus was delicious and cooked to perfection. This place is the best in the GTA

My family and I have never heard of this place before, but we are happy that we had. Everyone who works here is very nice to everyone who walks through their doors, so my family and I were comfortable planning my birthday party with them. The food is really great, during the taste test and at the actual event. The guests loved the food as well as the staff who helped out because they were more than happy to assist my family, guests, and I. hopefully during our next large event we will come here.

My girlfriend celebrated her 50th bday.It was a surprise party.The place was fantastic,the food is great! My guests were so delighted with the ambience and the services. The owner were so accommodating,they were hands on with my requests to make my girlfriends party successful. The owner even stayed until we are all settled.
It was very memorable and fun experience. One of my co-worker wanted to recommend the hall in future occasions as well as me. Highly recommended.

A youth volunteer group decided to host their awards ceremony and annual general meeting here, and were completely taken advantage of by this hall. They signed and agreed to a $10,000 contract for a buffet dinner for 250 guests. When they realized they weren't to make their guest numbers they asked to reduce and were told "you signed a contract". A contract with 17 year olds who are according to the son of the owner are old enough, and I quote "enlist in the army." Total bill was paid by the volunteer group, pretty much all in cash.
With so many options just make sure you read all reviews on this hall before you make a decision to host any event here. Don't make the same mistake these young, impressionable youth did.

Unprofessional. We had an appointment to see the hall and provide a deposit. The girl who works there, Sarah, was informed of our interest in the hall for the evening. Instead of calling to inform us that the evening was not an option, she had us come in and then told us. When we expressed our displeasure that we were not informed of this on the phone, she complained that she was told the night before and had a few clients to juggle.
Really disappointed with the lack of courtesy and not taking ownership of responsibilities.

My brothers wedding was held at candles banquet hall and they had the BEST DECOR AND CATERING!

We were impressed by the politeness of the owners and their insistent on accommodating us but when the time came closer to the event it turned out they changed their face, went back on their word, tried to con us out of even some menu items along with the hall accommodation. They also held back in the food till we paid the remaining amount ! We were busy with our event and they were creating issues for us throughout. I feel no matter how nice the hall or food , in this case it was not out of the world at all, the people must have integrity and honesty. Never go there!

On Oct. 4 2014 my duaughter had her wedding reception at candels banquet hall. And to be quite honest with anyone who reads this post you will be very, very, happy with this hall.
The place is great, the staff are great and the food was to die for. There was a grade 4 chef at the wedding and he told my daughter he has NEVER been to a wedding that had a buffet that was anything but BAD!!. Until he ate at this buffet, He said Ashley this was the best buffet food ever. The stuffed seafood was perfect,the chicken was perfect, Hell everything was just PERFECT. I would like to thank Mr. Hamid his Son and all the staff at Candels they made my daughters wedding a night to remember for a very long time to come.

We had our annual iftaari get together on Saturday.
The food was excellent. Tea was perfect (just what you need after to break your fast). Service was awesome and the owners are GREAT. Pleasure to meet with and reliable.
I would recommend that if you are planning to have a get together then you can trust the team of Candles Banquet hall completely.

Attended a wedding May 10th and was pleasantly surprised by the top notch service from all the staff.
They were very accommodating and adapted to many last minute changes with a smile and great attitude. I highly recommend this team - they can do anything and very well.

We were lucky to have Shaheen from Exquisite Events decorate our mehndi and waleema stage. Her creative personality is apparent in every shade of colour she picked and every detail in the decor. But aside from the obvious beauty she created as you walked into our hall, the best part of booking with Shaheen was her smile. The ease of knowing that what was promised was delivered and that her heart was truly embedded in her work. We didn't just get a kick ass decor set up - we created a fantastic relationship and will always have you in mind! Thanks!

Great job done at the msa erindale farewell party guys, loved every bit if t, props and respect to the crew and the management kept everything perfectly under control, may Allah bless you all .

I went as a guest to Candles Banquet for a wedding. The foyer of the banquet hall is very impressive and beautiful and the banquet hall itself is quite beautiful with the gold coloured ceilings and chandeliers. Banquet hall food is sometimes hit and miss but this one definitely delivered as all the food was tasty and fresh.

There is only one negative that i notived. I was seated near the wall and I noticed that the parquet floors were a little rundown. In the corner some of the flooring was pulling apart but that's about it.

The staff from the banquet helped out a lot and without them, the fundraising dinner would not be as successful. As dinner came in, within minutes, they were served and everything was cleaned and organized. I would definitely recommend this hall for events and dinners

The hall was absolutely amazing! We just held a fundraiser there, and everyone enjoyed it. A special thanks to everyone who works at the Candles banquet hall! Amazing place, excellent service, and an awesome night! We will be back soon!

i recently attended my friends wedding at candles banquet. From the second i walked in i was amazed. the place was very clean and and decorated in a tasteful manner. my friend who had his wedding there told me the staff and owner are the nicest most helpful people he has met after visiting numerous halls.
