Very poor service. Gave us one quote in person and somehow went up by $2,000 by the time it was emailed to us. When questioned about the difference, she never responded. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

After hearing so many rave about Creations by Gitta, we made an appointment. We anticipated her to be very pricey, but for quality work. We made an appointment with Julie and I presented a picture of the floral arrangement I wanted and our budget and was told I could have just that. Although we were rushed I had seen pictures of her work from other vendors and decided to go with Creations given their reputation in the industry. I was told to email a picture of what I wanted and was told they would deliver.
Fast forward several months to the trial appointment, I almost had an anxiety attack. The colours were wrong, the arrangement looked hideous and there were so many hydrangeas although I indicated several times I did not want many of those. Julie told me thats what she had down that I wanted (they write horribly brief notes that are very ambiguous e.g. pink, and red flowers - this could look like a hundred different things). Anyway i disagreed and at that point Julie took on a "I'm not going to deal with this attitude" and walked out. Gitta came in and told me what I had was good for the price I was paying ($85). I told her we both know that 6 hydrangeas and 8 roses do not cost $85. I showed her the original sample picture and she said she couldn't give me that for what I was paying. Funny, 8 months prior that was what I was told I'd be getting. She asked why I didn't email the sample, they clearly just didn't print the email. Anyway she kept modifying the arrangement and added flowers and rearranged it until it was acceptable. I took pictures of the final product and was asked to send them to her. I sent her that picture as well as ones of the bridesmaids bouquets and my bouquet (pink Phalaenopsis cascading orchids = $300).
After all the poor communication I decided to check on the centrepiece arrangements the night before the wedding. The arrangement was again done wrong - what was the purpose of sending pictures?? I told Julie and Gitta that I hadn't requested that and showed them the picture I took at the trial once again. Although Gitta insisted it would be fixed, Julie gave me unprofessional attitude as "half the arrangmnets were already done" which was neither my problem nor was the lack of attention to detail my fault.
The morning of the wedding the bouquets got dropped off at 730 (scheduled for 8:00 and woke me up a half hour before I was meant to get up on my wedding day). God knows you need every minute of rest for that day. The bridesmaids bouquets were done right however my $300 bouquet had the wrong colours in it!! Sure there were some pink orchids but there were also yellow colored orchids in there too!! And odd branches that I never asked for and were not in the sample picture I sent them. What a waste. We paid $80 to rent an aisle runner for the church and when I got to the church I realized the runner was previously torn and then a huge (say half meter) patch was stiched on. Not ideal for a wedding.

So while the rest of the ceremony flowers were done well, and the reception centrepieces ultimately ended up being what I had asked for, there were a lot of issues along the way. Poor communication/note taking/keeping up with emails was the biggest. Poor attitude on Julie's part was another. Looks like these people's reputation is no longer accurate and the industry needs to reevaluate it. Consider taking your business somewhere else. They are not cheap and you don't need to spend so much money for worry-filled nights before your big day.

Creations by Gitta - The Special Events Manager/Wedding Coordinators were fantastic. Your staff was always two steps ahead of me which is a difficult task. I can't express how impressed I was with your efficiency, friendliness, and ability to make me feel as comfortable and at ease as you could. I couldn't have dreamed of a better we...dding planner and of a more perfect wedding setting. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous. Everyone at the reception raved about the floral arrangement. Additionally, words cannot describe our appreciation for your personal touch and attention to detail. The decor was superbly rich and extremely elegant. I would just like to say to you that you made one the most important days of my life a very memorable experience. You and your staff are one of the greatest people that I have had the pleasure of dealing with, and I would be delighted to come back and see you again!
