Tepperman's

I bought a Bluetooth speaker from Tepperman, Kitchener and it stopped working after few days (around 11-12 days). Then I contacted Tepperman. Kitchener and I was told it is out of warranty from Tepperman. They provided me manufacturer name (Erikson) and number and I provided all details to Manufacturer. After spending 13-14 days on this, Manufacturer says that this is not their product. It is not going anywhere. I lost my $80 on this garbage

We purchased a living room set from Teppermans in Kitchener and also purchased the warranty. We were told by the sales person that the warranty covered basically everything and that the standard warranty covering defects of products was in effect. We had the couch for less than a year and noticed that fibers in the fabric were coming apart and that the cushions were all coming apart at the seams. We are an adult only household so our furniture is not used roughly. When we contacted the store with pictures of the damage we were assured that it was covered and to get in touch with the warranty company. The warranty company told us it was NOT covered because they felt it was due to wear and tear. You can clearly see in the photos we submitted that the fabric was pulling apart and that the seams had no allowance to them whatever. I understand that if the furniture was used heavily over a long period of time but this was not the case. You should be able to use your furniture on a daily basis to sit on since that it was it was made for. When we asked for a further review of the situation we got nowhere. They were unwilling to do anything to help with the situation. At the very least we feel that they should be willing to work with us towards a resolution. It is very disappointing to buy from a Canadian company who does not stand behind the product they sell. Teppermans talks a good game but that's all it is, talk. They advertise their guarantee on customer satisfaction and state that they will take care of defective items. This is certainly not true. I would suggest that you be very careful before buying anything from this store.

We had our new fridge delivered by Shayne and Faysal who both were very professional, courteous and did an awesome job in getting the fridge down to the basement! Not a mark down the walls and it was not an easy task for them! Thank you again for a superb job!

I was totally in love with this place. Spent at least 10 grand, if not more. Then my son goes in with me, buys a desk for 300 bucks, we assemble it and as soon as it’s complete the metal brackets where welded broke off smashing down. We called and emailed pics, asked for only the replacement bracket and still get the runaround. This was 2 months ago now so far still waiting. I will pay off my items and never go back now. I’m beyond done.

You guys suck!! After making my son and daughter-in-law in Waterloo wait 8 weeks for a large furniture delivery, and having signed up for delivery AND SETUP when the delivery arrived you dumped it off at moving door and ran away!!! This action forced my 64 year old wife and young daughter-in-law to fend for themselves. I’m disabled and unable to help. Will NEVER SHOP TEPPERMAN’S AGAIN AND WILL DO ANYTHING I CAN TO GET OTHERS TO AVOID GOING TO YOU. This is not what we paid for or agreed to and demand a refund on delivery and set-up

I love Tepperman's! Richard Gooden in Furniture Sales is AMAZING!!!

We moved into a house near Tepperman's almost 2 years ago and we've already made 3 purchases from them and they never cease to amaze us. Amazing customer service and deals. We recently bought a LG dryer with them and they had a deal for a washer and dryer for $1122. We only needed a dryer and they offered us the dryer for $698 plus the 25% off government rebate. Since the model in the flyer wasn't sent to the kitchener store, they were able to offer us the newest LG dryer model for the same price. We were blown away be their flexibility and problem solving. We will be making all future appliance and furniture purchases through them! Highly recommend.

I rarely write reviews about places I shop or visit, but this time is an exception.

I met Jennifer about 6 weeks ago on what I called my "fact finding mission". I had just sold my house and was downsizing and was looking to furnish an apartment and wanted to see what my options were. I had the good fortune to run into Jennifer who showed me around, and made wonderful suggestions based on what I had in mind for my new home. We clicked in a way I never expected to with a salesperson, and I told her I would be back when I knew exactly what I was going to need.

I returned today and spent a wonderful afternoon picking out my new living room and mattress with Jennifer. She was patient, knowledgeable and treated me like a friend rather than a customer. Never did I feel pushed into purchasing anything I didn't want. (she even put off eating lunch to help me out!) : )

I have titled this review Jennifer Jenkins and team because of the exceptional assistance I received from the credit staff as well. Thank you to Monica and Amanda for your amazing assistance in getting the financing I needed, and Lorna for getting my application done. And a thank you to Monika at customer service for making my credit paperwork a breeze. And thank you to Brian Weiss in the Bargain Annex for your help picking out my new bedroom.

This was my first time making such major purchases and the team at Tepperman's actually made the experience fun!

Once my move is finally done, I will definitely be back, after all I think I still need lamps...kitchen table...bookcase.....?? ;-)

We were in search of a couch. A couch that would fit in our tiny apartment. We traveled to Leons and to The Brick. Instead of finding the couch we need we found rude sales people and ugly stores. After searching and searching, we became tired and disappointed. We spotted the Tepperman's store on Huron and decided to go in. We were greeted at the front door by sales associate 'JACKIE ERNEWEIN' with a giant smile. Sales associate 'JACKIE ERNEWEIN' was very friendly and knowledgeable. Sales associate 'JACKIE ERNEWEIN' gave us plenty of information and guidance to help us make the proper decision on our beautiful new couch and tables. Sales associate 'JACKIE ERNEWEIN' explained the whole procedure for payment of our beautiful new couch and tables. We want to express a huge THANK YOU to Tepperman's and especially an enormous THANK YOU to sales associate 'JACKIE ERNEWEIN'.

Yesterday I visited Tepperman's for the first time. It won't be the last. I needed a new washer and dryer and had done a fair bit of research before going to the store. I had a number of questions. Thomas Wright, the Sales Associate who helped me, could not have been more approachable, responsive and accommodating. He answered all my questions and consulted when he needed to. He did not pretend to know everything and I really valued that. In the end, I chose appliances that I did not expect to, based entirely on Thomas' understanding of these machines and his recommendation about how well they would serve me. I also purchased an extended warranty, something I have never done before, because Thomas presented clear and compelling reasons for doing so. He is one impressive individual who really cares about what he does.

I opted for "Emergency Delivery", given that my washer had quit mid-cycle and I was eager to replace it. I spoke to Jill in Delivery a couple of times as she worked to ensure that I received the machines as quickly as possible. She too gave the clear impression that she cared about my needs and would do all she could to address them. The delivery was scheduled for today and the machines arrived this afternoon, within the 1-hour window I was given. The delivery/installation people, Blaine and Dennis, were quite simply terrific. They did everything I asked (and more!)carefully and very competently. Everyone should have such delivery folks.

Another thing I value about the Tepperman's experience is that calls to the store are answered by someone who can direct you to the person/area you're calling. This is far more welcoming and helpful that most automated systems that many, if not most of their competitors use.

In all, I could not be more satisfied with my experience at Tepperman's. While yesterday was my first time there, in future it will be the first store I go to.

I went to Tepperman's to purchase some bedroom furniture. First impressions are important and Tepperman's did not disappoint. I was greeted by friendly staff and the sales person that took care of me (Martina) could have not been nicer or more knowledgeable. There was never a feeling of rush, Martina took all the time needed to listen to what I and my 11 year old son were looking for. She made great recommendations and I am very happy with the furniture she helped me pick. I had a similar experience with the credit department. Unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the lady that assisted me on the phone (I know she was in Windsor) but she was phenomenal. I felt that people genuinely cared, were not just in for a quick sale but really wanted to help and please me as a customer. The team that delivered the furniture to my house was courteous, quick and friendly as well. They set up the furniture and removed packing material so I was not left to deal with it. My title said "old school" values, and it's true. Customer service with a smile, things I fondly remember from the past, are still very much alive at Tepperman's and that should be celebrated and shared.

A subsequent visit to Tepperman's was good as well, but, due to the inexperience of the young sales associate in the TV department. His disinterested attitude and unwillingness to get a manager involved for clarification fell noticeably short of the stellar experience I had when dealing with Martina. The manager that was involved after was great by the way. He took care of the questions efficiently and was very helpful. Thank you.

If I was to rate purely on visit #1, I would happily give 5 out of 5 stars. The second visit by itself was a 3 out of 5. Overall, four out of five stars are well warranted.

A great company, excellent values (which spans from sales to credit, to pickup to delivery) and great selection at good prices.

Bought a cocktail table and when we picked it up a few days later, decided not to unwrap and inspect immediately as it was being transported in an open pickup (my fault, I know). Got home and product was not what we had ordered. Turned out that the price tag on the display was for a totally different model. Long story short, one hour return trip, figured out the issue and replaced the product which happened to be in stock the whole time. I seriously thought that the original salesperson should have been able to look at a price tag and realize it was completely wrong (size, colour, etc) from what it was attached to. Anyways, product is assembled, looks good and nobody died in the process. Will be back again.

Bought a custom decorest sectional, panasonic LCD tv, king mattress and bedroom set. Best prices I could find compared to any online or brick and mortar retailer. no interest for two years is a great offer, really helps with cash flow for new home owners. After-sales support is second to none, had to get low-profile base for the mattress delivered as wrong ones were shipped, no questions asked, no cost, arrived in 3 days. Connie, Bennett and Diane really know their stuff and are a pleasure to work with, nice to see stores that are cost competitive and have fantastic service and staff.

Several weeks ago I purchased an adjustable bed and I was told at the time that it would be 10 days before the item came in. I was told up front that there would be a bit of a delay but because I was told I had not problem.

I had my new Adjustable bed delivered today and the delivery guys were amazing. Very efficient and were extremely helpful and ensured that the bed was set up and working just fine. They removed my old mattress and box spring, dismantled my bed frame and disposed of it in my condos garbage bin for me.

I can definitely say that I would purchase from Tepperman's again. Everyone has been so nice and very helpful.

We have spent over $4500.00 in less than a year at this store including a sectional for $2400.00. Three weeks after delivery I found the sewing had come out of the right side recliner and there was a large hole. I contacted customer service and following their direction sent in the appropriate photos and information. The following day I received a phone call informing me someone would get in touch with me. After waiting 2 full weeks and not being contacted I again contacted customer service and was told they had "passed my information along". They said they would pass my information along again. That was a week ago. I don't want my information passed along I want my recliner replaced. I feel that if I am not contacted this week I will return the entire sectional for a full refund including the cost of delivery. I expected better than this from Teppermans and would warn anybody thinking of making a purchase there to be aware of how they handle you after they have your money. Wished I had "passed along" my money to a different furniture store!

Our Sales Clerk was Martina. She went above and beyond for us in getting the company to package price a kitchen table and chairs from two different sets when we were originally told it couldn't happen! She also explained why a white or cream coloured leather sofa may not be the best idea right now, especially with dogs. The colour transfer from certain clothes may occur and it could be difficult to get that corrected! We ended up going with the black leather set and I know it'll look great with the new carpet and tables.

Thanks Tepperman's and, especially, Martina for the great service. We look forward to years of enjoyment with the new kitchen and living room furniture. I know we'll be back again!

I came in last week and Amita greeted me nicely and told me about awesome deals and their interest free layaway. I was super stoked to see what The Bargain Annex had to offer! Incredible deals. I am moving in a couple weeks so to have the interest free layaway option is perfection!
Amita was so helpful! The lady at the customer service desk was hilarious and awesome! She was super friendly and cracked jokes. Overall I had nothing but the best service at Teppermans!

We have had the worst experience with this place. Our delivery got pushed back 3 months and when they came they brought the wrong stuff ... we ordered a king mattress and they brought a queen box spring with it. The delivery driver walked through my house with muddy shoes and set but my bed wrong ... I will never purchase or recommend this place to another person.

After a brief visit to your store, on March 16th, 2017, my husband and I returned today (March 20)to seek the assistance of Rick Groh. We were there for 3 solid hours trying to figure out the appliances that we wanted for our kitchen reno. Rick was unbelievably patient, extremely knowledgeable, spot on with suggestions that clicked with our taste and style and his sense of humour was thoroughly enjoyed. Rick made our first shopping experience at your store fabulous and we will definitely return in the future!!

Thomas was very helpful and knowledgeable and worked hard to satisfy our appliance criteria and Jill arranged an emergency delivery we couldn't have done without. Thanks.

We would like to comment on salesman Bernie Westfall. Bernie was one of the best, if not the best salesperson we have ever encountered. He had a very pleasant manner, knowledgeable about your products, took his time to show us all details about the products, helped us and suggested co-ordinating decorative pieces to go with the furniture we picked and took as much time with us as we needed to make selections while also periodically making sure his other customers were attended to. He helped make delivery and set up plans when we had to change pickup after a family incident. Bernie followed thru by calling us and making sure we were happy with the products and set up. You should be very proud to have Bernie as an employee. He shows great costumer service for the Tepperman's Company which will have us and I'm sure his other customers coming back to your store in the future!

The company is great and has really low prices. The only flaw was not all the parts of my tv came in my package. The service and the attention are great.

We spent a great deal of time-actually an entire afternoon choosing some furniture for our master bedroom and for our rec room. We had friendly staff (Monica) at the store and were very impressed that it is a family run store and we were able to meet with and speak to Andrew Tepperman which gave us a good feeling about our purchase. Unfortunately from then on there were many things that did not sit well with us that were confusing and frustrating...bottom line is that after waiting about 8 weeks our furniture was delivered and we had an absolute horrible experience. The delivery men were rude, walked through our house with their shoes on etc etc. but worst things is they damaged our front door, our bedroom door and the couch they delivered to the point we had it returned. The customer service follow up was horrible and only after they damaged the couch they asked us to sign some kind of clause not having them responsible. We have a damaged front door and bedroom door due to the furniture they so carelessly delivered. Two different fellows picked up the damaged couch and the experience could not have been better. Ironically they commented on the damage to our bedroom door and and we said it was your team mates who left that damage. So much more to say but be really careful when your furniture is delivered it was a terrible experience

I made a recent purchase with the help of a sales associate that was a pleasure dealing with. Monica Ouillette gave me the patience to decide and provided the options available for it. I had been to the store just prior to this looking and didn't receive the service, knowledge and demeanor that Monica provided. Credit to her and I would look for her service on another visit.
