D'Ornellas Bike Shop Ltd, Scarborough Reviews (2)
small old bike shop in scarborough.
bought a brand new 1500$ mountain bike at this bike shop. after 2 rides, i noticed the wire leading to the fluid reservoir of the rear brake was leaking. i returned the bike and they said they would get it fixed free of charge. when i go back and get the bike a few days later, they tell me they did a wheel alignment...which i had never asked for but what the heck, i thought it couldn't hurt after the bike had had a couple of rides. also, when i arrived at the shop, a bunch of other bikes were leaning over my bike...very disappointing to see shitty old bikes just piled all over my new bike!
first ride after having had the wire fixed and wheels aligned, i notice that the tiny screws on the rear wheel are all worn out! one is actually cracked! and, the wire is still leaking for the rear brake!!! i return the bike to the shop and show them. again, they say it will cost nothing to repair wire and tiny screws on rear wheel. when i pick up my bike, again, a few days later, they had not cleaned residue oil on the reservoir of the brake fluid...very un-professional.
again, first ride after picking the bike up, i now notice that the fluid reservoir is leaking from another place!
i did not go back to the shop a third time. i will fix it myself even if the bike is on warranty. i will definitely not go for my free 1 year tune up at this shop. i hope my bike will not have any major hick-ups before warranty expires because i do not ever want to go back here again! they are bad!
