Eagleson Flooring

If you have any flooring needs, I DO NOT recommend giving your business to Eagleson Flooring. We have been booked to have carpet installed since early March. I advised the rep (Joel) on April 6 that we have someone immuno-compromised in our household and we require that everyone wear masks at all times after workers showed up to install our hardwood and didn’t wear masks. This immuno-compromised person was hospitalized for 6 days since then, and just got out of the hospital this weekend. I therefore reminded the rep that all workers need to wear masks when in our home again two days ago. Our carpet installation was booked for tomorrow, Thursday April 21 (and had been since early March). I get a call from the rep yesterday stating that he would do his very best to get an installation crew that would be WILLING to wear masks because « they don’t like it because it makes it hard to breathe » and our installation may have to be postoned. I am so livid, I could not even explain how hard it is for me to comprehend putting employees’ PREFERENCES ahead of customer safety. Now we’re told someone will come to « evaluate » the job tomorrow and that it will very likely be a three-day job (funny how when I was paying, it was a one-day job!). And this « evaluator » wasn’t even made aware that he needed to wear a mask in our home by the rep - we had to inform him ourselves when he called to confirm the appointment. So again we’re being penalized and will now have people in our home for three days, thus further augmenting the risk to an immuno-suppressed person who was hospitalized but a few days ago. Eagleson Flooring, absolutely unacceptable and inexcusable! So, please, everyone, give your business to other flooring businesses who are more willing to respect their clients’ safety requirements. I really don’t think we’re asking for the moon here.

Our 2nd purchase/install from Eagleson. Everything from sale to old flooring removal to new flooring installation done in a fast, efficient manner. Very professional to deal with. Eric the installer is incredibly good at what he does. Highly recommend Eagleson

We recently used thier services to install a bathroom floor. The contractor was very nice and professional, however we had some complaints about getting the job done. It was postponed after it had been booked. The contractor never showed on the re-booked date (Eagleson flooring lied and told us he was in hospital - when really they apparetly didn't communicate the time/date of the job to the subcontractor). They then told us he would come a third time an hour before he showed up - again poor communication. When he did finally come, he had the wrong floor for installation which caused a further delay.... again this was the fault of the store itself for not communicating the right information to the sub-contractor). In all, the job finally got done, and done well - however it did waste a lot of our time in waiting for it to be done....

Had them out to redo my basement carpet. Gentleman came out on his night off for a free written quote, ordered quickly to meet my deadline, installed faster than expected, very courteous customer service. Had a followup to the install call and a thank you for your business letter with a coupon within a week. Very satisfied. A+
