Another floor company refused to quote us per square foot after they measured our floor. The Floor Show gave us a proper quote which allowed for comparison shopping. Good product. Quick customer service. (Cash and carry)

Do Not use this company. Their customer service is very bad. Our experience with trying to get our flooring fixed, which they laid, in our new home, took over 2 years. I am sure they were hoping we would give up in frustration. Excuses, excuses, excuses, delay, delay, delay is their mantra.

Walked into the retail store had to purchase 1000of hardwood... when they learned that i was a small customer i had to ask 3 times for a quote. When I finally got it it was 50% higher then the other two quotes I got. Told them they didn't careened were very rude. Avoid!

I came to The Floor Show about 1 year ago. I didn't know it had even existed before that. The service was was great, product is fantastic and we love our new flooring. I would recommend them anyday! !

I was referred to The Floor Show by a close friend. After reading some reviews, I was hesitant. However, my experience was great!! I think every situation is different and I just wanted to share my experience. I was greeted with a very friendly smile! My sales person was very knowledgable, design savy, and easy to bounce ideas off of. My house is now a home. Thank you so much again for all your hard work Monica!

Unfortunately we bought over 1600 square feet of exotic wood from the Floor Show. The flooring is Brazilian cherry which was sold to us here in Winnipeg and manufactured by Vintage Flooring in Toronto.

The floor has stress cracks and scuffs everywhere. The 25 year warranty was declined by Vintage since they assumed the winters have been too harsh in Winnipeg lately. If this is true, why does the Floor Show sell these products here after reassuring us that having a humidifier would suffice. They just wanted our money.

It had been over three years since we have been requesting our floors be fixed to no avail. Both The Floor Show and Vintage have postponed and blamed me for the bad quality of floor that they sold. It had been an awful experience and I warn you to stay away from these companies that sell you what appears to be a great product and then run away after they make the sale and cash your cheque.

We had completed a job 2 years ago and it went well, after 3 weeks of delay and excuses, but when some tile started to fall off the wall our troubles began.

We called and called and called, no one would ever return our calls. I think if you are not a 'sale' this company does not care about you.

Does not seem like anyone is in charge, no one could make a decision. So frustrating!

We finally spoke with a manger who was very rude and made it seem like it was our fault or we were trying to pull something over on them. We were told that all installations are done by third party sub contractors and our warranty period was over and he, rudely, said he cannot help us and hung up.

Stay away, better yet...run away from The Floor Show.

We had our entire house done by The Floor Show and I would do it all over again. One of the gals from there, Monica, went above and beyond. She helped us with out colors and design as well as finding the right product for our lifestyle. My husband and I really appreciated her king, bubbly approach and how she didn't push us into any products because it was "in style".
We live our Shaw carpets and so glad we went with that. I would recommend the floor show to anyone.

My husband and I were in the market for a few area rugs. We didn't want the low quality generic IKEA ones so we headed out to see what local suppliers had.

We went to Bill Knight where they had some selection but we felt that they had old inventory and were trying to push us into expensive rugs that just weren't our taste.

We went to Flatlanders and left quickly after the sales person made us feel that were wasting their time... sorry for browsing!

We ended up at the Floor Show on Waverly street; they don't have large rugs in inventory but have hundreds of cool carpet squares that fit together called Flor. We bought just what we needed, it wasn't expensive and since the company didn't have to stock anything the sales process was easy and did not have a desperate feel that we got at the other places.

Will will be buys two more rugs later this summer.

Just a quick note on this company; as a family run development company we have to find trades that will lend not only the expertise in that field but also work with other trades to bring a project to completion.

The staff at the floor show helped us find the right products at the right prices for our project and clients.

The staff helped with our interior design and colour selection. Then they helped us build display models and colour boards for no cost.

Their pricing was the best but we would have worked with them even if they were a little more for all the 'extra' service.

Now if we can only find other trades like this!

If you want to give this company business after the go around and steal other flooring company employees for ridiculous amounts of money then fires them once they learn their system to hire someone cheaper then this is the place for you! They are trying to run this industry and put everyone out of business so they can rip off the hard working people of Winnipeg for everything they got! Its time someone made a review about what this company is all about.

We needed to replace the hardwood floors and tile backsplash for a home that we just purchased. Our realtor suggested I get two prices, we got one from The Floor Show and one from Curtis Carpet. They are close to one another so we thought this was going to be easy.

We started at The Floor Show, they are hundreds of choices and immediately I was over whelmed. The sales person spend some time talking about the various types of wood and what might work for our lifestyle and construction of our house. We picked an oak in 2 colours and signed out the samples and made an appointment to have a measure done.

We then drove down the road to Curtis to find a similar wood so we could get two quotes. I guess my husband mentioned we were down the road and going to get two prices, well it was like we stole something! They were so rude it was incredible. My husband still insisted that we needed two prices.

The measure person from Curtis never showed up and I had to call twice!

I am so thankful that when we finally got Curtis's price that it was almost 18% higher for a wood I didn't like as much. Phew!

We got the work done at the Floor Show, they wanted a deposit before they started as it was explained is policy, but the installer was fantastic and the job is flawless.

Highly recommended to all our friends and family. I wonder if they have a referral program??

After initially being happy, we had some questions and called the store 3-4 times. Each time we had the promise of being called back, when they learned that it was a service call... we were rudely hung up on.

Beware, they took our money and ran.

Had our flooring installed by the floor show over a year ago. Have had nothing but problems since the install. Made several appointments only to have no one show or even bother to call. Still have unresolved issues with our flooring, but not holding my breath it will ever get fixed. Do yourself a favour - do not buy anything from The Floor Show.

We had a large office renovation project where we needed an extensive amount of flooring; we were working with a major design firm in the city to assist. Our contractor got 4 flooring quotes and the lowest was from The Floor Show... we then were asked by our contractor if we would be willing to entertain further cost saving concepts from a representative from this flooring company? When does this happen?

We met at their office, which is very impressive, and they showed us how to further reduce our cost by over 20%.

Installation went without a hiccup, although the entire renovation took longer than expected.

They guys are professionals and saved us money without us asking... hard to beat!

After The Floor Show sells you engineered wood flooring and installs it ... they disappear when their product is found to be defective and their installation faulty... Just like magic!

House builder (Qualico) had us pick laminate flooring and carpet from The Floor Show. We picked our flooring to of course match everything else we had picking for our house. Then one day The Floor Show calls us and informs us that the laminate flooring we picked was discontinued and we had 2 days to pick something else or the builder will pick it. What? We picked the flooring in back November and now your asking us to re-select in February? Why wasn't this ordered when I selected it. How are we to pick without our tile, cabinet colours, wall colours? My wife and I took the day off from work to pick our second choice for the "discontinued" laminate flooring and the lady was no help, rude, and made off like we were inconveniencing her. Wait a minute ... this is not our fault. The carpet installed crunches under my feet when I walk on it. Called The Floor Show to inspect ... installer error ... we now have to pull all the carpet up and remove the carpet tape from the foam under pad. What an inconvenience! I have to remove all the furniture from the second floor for the installer to correct the issue. Our laminate flooring also has issues, cracking and popping sounds when I walk on it. Not in select places but the entire main floor (1100 sq ft). The Floor Show says its seasonal ... what? So it quiet in the winter then snap popping in the summer? Humidity or not ... should not be making sounds. More like installer error, not enough space left around edges for expansion. Its easy to find the real reason off the internet. We bought over $13000 of flooring from this place and I do not recommend. We didn't even get an apology from any one.

I had no idea what to do with my basement renovation project. I was between carpet or vinyl with not much knowledge on the whole process. I had been looking for a few weeks and had not received much information from other places.
When shopping at The Floor Show they helped me understand the differences between the two products and the pro's and con's of each. It was a fantastic learning experience and the sales people were always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend anyone to go to The Floor Show for expert advise!

I would not recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase flooring. The sale eprson we dealt with gave us wrong pricing and inflated tge quote each time we asked for different flooring. We had to wait for weeks to get a final quote and when we finally did, it was so far off what other flooring stores quoted, that we had wasted 2 weeks for nothing. Additionally, the sales person never returned our phone calls and was rude each time we called. The was the worst experince we have ever had and we have built a number of homes and dealt with many flooring places over the years.

We went to 3 flooring retailers before the floor show...and WOW what a difference. The price was better than the others but that was only a small part of what made our shopping there so different.

They just seemed to understand what we were asking for and gave us sensible / affordable options. All the other stores wanted to "sell" us something.... The Floor Show listened and gave us what we needed.
