Garage Masters

We had our large outdoor concrete floor raised porch and steps coated with their product, including quartz crystals so surface isn't slippery in Winter. We are absolutely delighted with the end result! Equally impressive was the expertise, precision, friendliness, care and quality of those doing the installation. The fellow doing the taping was probably as important as the rest, terrific job! Also, now that we see the several labour intensive steps involved in the process, number of staff deployed to the project, and associated quality and appearance of the finished product, we find the price actually quite reasonable. This is a first class operation, highly recommended.

We built a 22 x 24 garage and it took forever for them to start. We have a very unfriendly dog and told them from the start they would have to call a few days ahead to give us heads up when they were coming out. We took days off to be there so we could keep dog in house, they would not show when they said. When i contacted my rep. He said thet would not be coming out due to contractors are running behind. My husband and i missed 2 days of work each because of them not coming when they said. We even boarded the dog for a week as we could not afford to miss more time off work. We have a house with green siding and we were told siding would be more expensive so we went with stucco which was included with the package. We were told we can get colored stucco so we took seatches that the rep showed us and chose the closest green to the siding as possible. When we got home from work one day they had come to do the stucco and it is now BROWN. When i contacted them the rep said that was the color we chose. He said we were deciding between brown and green and chose brown. Why would we choose broen when the house is green? Not very happy with Garage Masters. Rep said we were a problem from the start because they had to call ahead.

Gentleman came to my house to give me a quote. Never heard back from him. Called left message and still no response. Disappointed in the service. Feel like no one cares

Started my garage and not happy at all

We recently had our garage re-built and chose to go with Garage Masters because they were recommended to us. Unfortunately, we didn't do our homework and because they were recommended and seemed to know what they were talking about when they provided the quote, we just went with them. If you are ok waiting a long time to have your garage completed and not really be informed as to the process or when they will be on your property to do the work, then you will be just fine if you choose to hire Garage Masters. If you prefer to know what's going on and be responded to and would like the product completed in a relatively timely manner, then we would suggest you shop around and get a few different quotes. Unfortunately, our experience was not a good one, there were multiple problems. Some were corrected, others were not. I would not recommend Garage Masters to anyone and if we could do this over again, we certainly would choose a different company. We learned a big lesson.

Garage Masters built my garage this summer. Not only did my salesman, Paul explain the process to me, he had some suggestions that I had not thought of. His idea of installing the overhead door offset was brilliant. It gives me a larger storage area than I would have had, if I had chosen to have the OH door installed in the centre. Not only did they build my garage, they took away the old one. There was not a toothpick left when the bobcat was finished. Each crew was polite, professional, on time and did an impressive job. The concrete pad was poured before I was awake one morning. I was disappointed as I had planned to imbed a little stone in the wet concrete. The word "hope" is carved on the face of the stone. I showed the tradesman my stone. When I got back in the afternoon, the stone was imbedded in the very centre of the pad "! I have no idea how he did it ! Garage Masters even accommodated my request to change the style of the door. After the project was finished, a crew came by and cleaned up the entire job site. My only regret is that I did not do this a few years ago.

Worst Company Ever:

Had a garage built by Garage Master & it only took a year for them to respond to us that they could not put back the fence that they took down. It was up to us to find another company to put the fence back up. Very sloppy finishing with concrete, wiring & removal of garbage. If you are thinking of hiring them choose another company and save yourself the headache.

This place is very busy. Prepare to get in line if you want to build in the spring. You need to have your estimate done in the Winter and decide way before April if you want to be one of the first to build. If I could do it again, I would still use Garage Masters, I would have gave my deposit and booked a little sooner though. If your not in a hurry take your time.

After reading your reviews I had an estimate done by Ray at Garage Masters. You were right. He walked me through the whole process. I booked a garage for a spring build. I will give a full report once it's completed.

I had an estimate a few days ago and have decided to sign with Garage Masters. I had a few other estimates but Garage Masters was by far a superior product. Not only did my salesperson Ray take the time to educate me in the garage building process but he explained each and every cost to me as well.

The other companies I had estimate didnt even take the time to view my property. How can you price something without seeing it?

All in all I'm confident that Garage Masters will do a great job. I'll write another comment once it's done.

Pros - Fast, Quality product and informative

Cons - Costs a little more - But worth it

My garage was falling apart. I couldn't even store tools in it anymore. Garage Masters designed me a garage that fit my small yard and small budget. All in All I had a great experience. Deffinately would reccomend to others.

I had a garage built last year and couldn't be happier. I havent had to scrape my windows all year.
