Very disappointed with the shipping from this company. I paid for expedited shipping ($44CAD) for a purchase through Amazon (already contacted seller at this point). It was supposed to arrive 02/28/2022, failed to arrive in province by then, Amazon extended it to 4 days. It is now 3/4/2022 and the product has been flagged as NonAttempt. What does that even mean? It's vague, non-descript and their website offers nothing in terms of understanding what it is. I tried calling their customer service but they are closed on the weekend. And open during est hours to 7pm only. I'm left with 0 remedy, 0 contact options. I'm requesting a full refund and recommending anyone looking to ship, look elsewhere.

Terrible company!!! I bought a bike from Calgary to deliver in Quebec, on July 5 2021,
The CANPAR driver arrived at my home at 17:00 pm and didn’t have my parcel 📦 (bike)
He said; he does not know what happened with it and left without any explanation!!
After that no more development with my parcel 📦, I have to call the seller of my bike to tell him what’s happening and the seller of my bike open a claim true CANPAR.
It’s still in investigation but we don’t have hope that they will found the bike…😞😞😞
Someone inside CANPAR stole my bike!
If you send something precious; better paid more to send it by a company with a good reputation, as DHL, UPS,fedex,Purolater…..
But CANPAR AS a very bad reputation and it’s true!!BE AWARE!

Worst courier services ever! Seriously...avoid at all cost! I had a package set to arrive on Friday according to their online tracking; my package was with the courier at 8am on Friday and then at the end of Friday at around 5:30pm the status said "Non Attempt". They don't deliver on the weekends, so I made sure to stay home all day on Monday...same status as Friday, my package goes to the courier for delivery at 8am, and then again at 5:30pm I get another "Non Attempt"...

HOW RIDICULOUS IS THIS...Seriously CANPAR stop playing with my schedule, just keep it at your stupid warehouse and let me know so I can just pick it up myself instead of going around in dumb circles with your dumb "Non Attempt" statuses.

No wonder you guys got attacked with ransomware, you probably pissed off a hacker or something! Seriously this company needs to shut down ASAP, I wish death upon the CEO for having such a useless and incompetent shipping company and wasting everyone's time!! I hope every lazy and incompetent delivery driver for Canpar gets Cancer. Screw you Canpar!!

Paid $20 for next day "By the end of the day" delivery through ww.motorizedbicycle.ca 3 days later, i get a "Non attempt" delay notice as i put the day aside anticipating the packages arrival.

And this all started because motorizedbicycle.ca didn't include an important piece in their kit then their customer service LIED to me that it doesn't come with the kit. Any company that works with Canpar Transport Ltd is likely to be just as scummy for taking your money, not holding up their end of the deal and then lying about it.

You screw up my order sending it to the wrong city on a Friday, then on Monday with two of us perched in the front window waiting to no avail, i check the tracking and you claim you attempted delivery (according to the website) no paperwork to prove that you were even here because you didn't even bother...seriously...PATHETIC.

The fact this company is still in business is a joke. Walmart is a reputable company yet chooses to ship with a company that has zero quality customer service and service standards. I made the mistake of ordering some important items for my kids online. Being COVID 19, I was prepared for delayed delivery times. I was not prepared for the horrible experience and stress I have had dealing with this company. The customer service rep informed me that they were experiencing 1-2 days of service delays. My order contained 2 packages. The delivery dates changed multiple times and they were able to use that as an excuse as to why part of the order was late. My first package arrived damaged and partly open. It did NOT arrive at my door. Instead, the driver left my package at THE FRONT DOOR OF THE APARTMENT BUILDING LOBBY. The driver did not call or even buzz me to let me know he had arrived even though I made 2 phone calls to customer service prior to confirming the contact information. My package was left unattended for over 45 minutes. I had to look online to check the status and see a delivery made. At this point, I'm freaking out thinking they delivered my babies stuff to the wrong address. I send someone down to the lobby to check for notice and the box was sitting there at the lobby door. NO NOTICE. I was in complete shock that a company could be so irresponsible. I called to complain and the agent of course blamed COVID 19 and social distancing. This is an absolute joke. Based on these reviews your company has had terrible service for years prior.I was offered a lackluster apology and attitude from the agent. They never know where your items are and can give zero updates on arrival or even attempt to track the shipment on their end. They have now had my second item since May 15th in Toronto half hour away from where I live! Delivery was expected on May 19th. Well, it is now May 28th! Zero updates on their tracking, zero help from customer service. I am at the point of exhausted by calling them and Walmart. Walmart supposedly opened a ticket on my item but I have yet to hear back from them either. This experience alone has turned me off from ordering anything else from Walmart.com again. I will do as the other reviewers have stated and check who sellers are shipping through before placing orders.

Awful service, don't know where my package is, got told it would be here today after waiting almost 2 weeks already but now I just found out it will be another 2 to 7 days. If someone is sending you something, ask if they use Canpar and if they do, smack that person in face (in your head) and tell them to use an actual courier company.

Walmart uses these guys so I would advise against ordering from that chain until they make a change. Canpar is useless; they cannot tell you where your delivery is and generally don't seem to care. I waited all day for a delivery from Walmart and, despite the tracking info saying that it was out for delivery since 9am, nothing arrived at my home. I didn't get a call, nothing. I phoned their office and the 'customer service' person had no idea and didn't even seem to understand why I would bother calling. I wasted an entire day and no package arrived. An absolute disgrace.

Canpar is utterly incompetent and I am stunned that they are able to continue as a going concern.

CanPar is horrible! I ordered something from Ontario that was shipped out on July 4th and the company was told it would get to me in BC on July 7th. It arrived in the city an hour away from me on July 7th. I called CanPar about it and they said they only deliver to my town on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So I waited at home all day on July 11th (Tuesday) and the package still never arrived. I called about it and they said it is being held in the city for pickup! I don't know how they think they can expect me to drive an hour each way to pick up a package that is addressed to my house in a town an hour away when they said they deliver 2 days a week! This is total crap! Don't use CanPar ever!!!!!

Don't order anything from any companies using Canpar courier as Thier Carriers, check before order or you would suffer as I did.
I'm writing about this incident happened to me 2 years ago but still worth reading:
Canpar is by far the worst courier in Canada. While I had a delivery of a hockey game table, and I got a horrible 6-day tug war with this company. First someone called yelling at me on the phone I wasn't home to get the the delivery done, that he was busy and I had wasted his precious busy time (I had never received notice nor phone call before hand). Then he said I had to go to their place to pick it up, or they would ship it back to the shipper in Quebec the next morning. Jesus, it was already after 6pm that day! When I managed to get there, the item had already left the depot on its way back to the shipper. They tried to locate it, stop it where it was so I could go to pick it up, but not that they would deliver to me. 3 days later they said located it and I had to travel across 3 cities to get it, which I refused. So there it went. Luckily I had contacted the shipper on the lst day & they had shipped out immediately an order which I received after another 3 days!

What a terrible delivery service I took a day off work to make sure I was home. Checking the tracking every half hour to find a missed attempt cosignee not home. Left note. Bs!! No note was left and I was home all day. Canpar customer service was horrible I argued with some lady that insisted the note was left. Ya ok bitch I know where I live and I was home there is no note. I told them to shove the package up there ass and return to sender.

This has to be the worst shipping company ever. No customer service, super slow, damages packages and the staff are very rude. I can't believe any company would ship using this company. I'm embarrassed for them - and I'm just a customer! Unbelievable. Not even deserving of 1 star. Make sure you avoid this shipper at all costs and if you are a company thinking of using them steer clear as they will make you look horrible too.

I purchased from an online shop who uses Canada post, because of the potential strike they used can par. The driver did not leave a sorry we missed you slip and when I called customer service they just kept saying they will let 'them' know about the drivers mistake. When I asked who she is referrering to she said dispatch. I asked her to put me on hold and speak with them but she said it's impossible and she had to call back. Never got a call back but my package some how made it to me! If you work in customer service there is always a supervisor/manager around for calls that need to be escalated. Even though Canada post is not great, can par is worse

My AirMiles were to expire so I ordered 4 items. AirMiles is using Canpar and I had 4 problems having it delivered.
When attempting to deliver and I just happened to step out, they leave a card and scratch out the line where it says they will re-deliver.
Last update on the tracking says: Customer not at home and that's it. After 4 days, I showed up at their Lachine warehouse/depot to find out after 20 minutes that the parcel was in LaSalle, at 5 minutes from my home. So I crossed the city again ( and the traffic too ) to pick-up my parcel at Ultramar gas station.
Poor, poor, poor service. They don't even seem to care about anything. It's like normal to give this kind of service.
Luckily I don't have anymore AirMiles to exchange. This way I will not have to deal with Canpar anymore

Canpar delivery person 78601 was the most helpful in a 3-day runaround with AirMiles shipping a TV from their warehouse to me.

AirMiles emailed me a shipping notice with a Canpar tracking number - which until the TV was delivered, always indicated that the TV was not in their system. Upon delivery within 3 days (not bad for shipping from TO), the tracking number showed up as having been delivered.

While I spent at least 5 hours on hold (and talking with three different AirMiles agents over 2 days) and not getting a plausible answer where the TV might be - delivery person 78601 took the trouble to call his office to track down what happened.

It seems AirMiles bulk ships on palates, making individual item scanning impossible. Rather than providing extra scanning labels for the palated items, AirMiles releases their palated items without a paper trail. So much for tracking information as the items, according to Canpar, must still be in the warehouse.

Would you believe 3 out of 3 AirMiles specialists tried to tell me that the TV was still in the warehouse and that I had agreed that they had 40 days to get it to me - despite them sending me an email stating that the TV:

1. Had left the warehouse (in 2 places)
2. That the carrier was Canpar
3. What the tracking number was, and
4. That it would arrive 3 days later (they specified the date).

I ordered a baby crib and each time they try to deliver they don't bother calling, they leave a note and go, they never come upstairs, each time I was home and they neither rang the buzz nor called the phone, this happened 8 times so far for the same item " because we complained to wallmart they tried to deliver again". sick of this useless delivery, baby is going to arrive before them....

Ordered from seller in US who sent parcel by Landmark who showed excellent tracking until the Canada/US border. From there, Canpar takes over for the Canadian leg of the delivery. I check their tracking for 1 week and it shows no package received.. I call Canpar and they say that they did not yet receive the package and I should call Landmark because Landmark had not given them the package. Funny thing is, that very afternoon, I get the package delivered by Canpar. Strange, considering that they had just told me that they haven't even received the package. This company should be taken behind the shed.... and put out of its misery!! And then, we will all stop suffering.

Absolutely terrible.

Shipment was supposed to arrive on May 16th. I took a day off work to wait for the courier that did not arrive. When I called Canpar, one girl could not speak english, then another customer service rep was to call me back, never did. Then the supervisor was busy all day, so I left him a voice mail. The the supervisor of IT could not help and had no idea where it was or when it would be delivered even though she could see the shipment. This lady could not even find a shipment locator and it's on her website and she could not guide me through and she's the IT supervisor. So what do I do now? I am talking to Christoff right now, the supervisor of Customer Service and he says he has no idea where the shipment is and when it will be delivered. That Canpar is a low budget courier service that can not track shipments like federal express! Really? He does not know if my order is in TO, Calgary, Vancouver or on its way here. He put me on hold now for an hour, I don't think he's coming back, will have to hang up.

This does not look good for Long & McQuade, will definitly not order online from your company again. Very Very Unsatisfied Customer.

Had a package sent to me and delivery was attempted while I was away. Canpar left 2 notices and then, for no reason sent the package to someone with a similar name to mine in my city and said it was delivered. I still don't have my package. Hours on the phone and they still have yet to help me in any way to get my package back. AVOID THIS COMPANY! If I could give a 0 or less I would!

Canpar left a notice last Friday, I missed it, so I called. They said they would attempt another delivery on Monday. Sat and waited till noon, no delivery so I called, they said yes it's on the truck and would be there in and hour or two. Guess what a no show. Called customer service, and the parcel wasn't even on the truck and they had dumped it at some covenient store. Well don't you think it would have been nice for them to inform me of this. No notice of any sort, and if I hadn't called I would have never known. Absolutely terrible service. As I sit here I had called the local office earlier, and they were going to get back to me, didn't happened. Very disappointing.

To have a useless tracking system would be a huge upgrade from the current misleading system...
I took the afternoon off yesterday cuz the system was telling me the package would arrive by the end of the day, but no one showed nor called ...
Result i have double the work today and no idea why the delivery was cancelled or when and if they will come ...

Just sat home for a day waiting for my package to be delivered as it needs a signature and...no package. Why even bother to check if the client is home on said day if the package does not arrive as such?!

This is by far the worst shipping company ever. They claimed to have made two attempts to deliver. Left no notices either time. I finally called to see where my package was and they told me it was being held at a location in a different city. Went there after work and after 30 minutes of garbage they found out that it was out for delivery again a third time. Again there was no package or notice notice and I still can't get my package today because it is out on a truck somewhere. These people are horrible. Do not use them unless you want your package to take ages to make it to its destination. Very very brutal experience.

Talk about terrible management, customer service and everything else that makes a legitimate company.. I would be embarrassed to work for such a disgrace of a company.. I'm sure you other reviewers can see, like the many others, that I feel so ripped off from Canpar after such an awful experience with their "business". My question here is directed to TransForce (parent company) .. Why would you buy a worthless company and not invest in fixing its evident flaws. Both company's are a joke. AVOID AT ALL COST.
