To start off the most angering customer service experience I've ever had to live through, their 2-3 day delivery has now run into day 8. After day 4 I was on hold for an hour and a half, and then told that its a 6 day delivery for their express deliveries. When asked why it takes that long for an express delivery? I was informed that its not really express... they just call it that. I could only laugh at that, she said it in a way that I should know they're a company of liars and what was she expected to do. So, I was guaranteed it would be delivered by the 8th day as they do not deliver on weekends. And today is that day... its 5pm and they are no where to be found. As I write this I'm on hold whole they're tracking my package that will not be delivered as their third party delivery service closes at 5.
Fingers crossed I don't die tonight... Thanks Dicom for being the worst, rudest, and least informed company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with.
Thankfully they cannot continue to be in business for too much longer with this going on.

Ordered a packed on the 28th of June but apparently there was an 'attempted' delivery on the 30th which is interesting since I had been waiting at home all day on the 29th, 30th, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th of July with not one delivery. I even left a note on the door to let the delivery person know I am home and waiting for my package. No door-knockers (a note that let's the homeowner know an attempt was made) was left, my online tracking number resulted in an "out for delivery" on the 30th, no notice to call or go pick it up - nothing.

After many attempts at calling Dicom's customer service with no answer, on the 7th I finally waited the 35 mins to talk to someone who asked me one question and put me on hold again. After consulting other resources, I was told that I would receive an email the next day with some information but not necessarily a delivery time or arrangements. The customer service person then said she has all the information I had and couldn't tell me more. I then said that was shocking since she's the one sitting there with all the resources to track down my package but she couldn't do anything further to find any answers for the remaining 1hour and 45 mins they were open. I implored her to check another option before the day was done.

After she checked again she found out that they had handed the package off to another company for delivery and could only patch me through to them. After being on the phone for 45mins and talking to an incredibly helpful Tom Sullivan on the phone I was able to get an answer that my package would arrive tomorrow. There was no proof of an attempted delivery, there was no update still on the website tracking number (because the two companies don't relay messages or information to each other) however, after I explained to Tom that I was awaiting my medication and it was a week overdue, he generously offered to drop the package off himself as he biked home from work. I am very impressed with Tom and thankful for his help.

Dicom your customer service is embarrassing, your tracking systems and organization of packages are deplorable, your lack of communication between the companies you hand off packages to and the information on your website is a joke and quiet frankly I wouldn't trust you to deliver a letter let alone a package of any value or importance.

Amazingly enough after I sat on hold for 45 mins the insanely and annoying repeating messages including starting a career with 'A recognized industry leader' and to drop off a resume today!!! I think someone should work with what you have before you involve any new employees with your broken system. The only leadership recognition that should be given out is to Tom Sullivan for his incredible service.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Disgusting service...or lack thereof. How the hell are these incompetent idiots still in business? I am still waiting on the phone an hour later to get a hold of someone and not one bloody agent is available? Give me a break. I will NOT deal with any e commerce company using Dicom 'Express'. Their website showed my item out for delivery on July 6th and now it is not found.

I have been a shipper for the last 10 years of my life and i had to deal with dicoms assorted bunch of lazy , crybabies , extremely incompetent and ALWAYS on their cell phone drivers. If that is who they choose to get represented by on the roads that is their call but honestly if your job literally doesn`t force you to deal with them then don`t. I just saved you alot of headache.

Horrible staff, lazy driver. He told us that he picks up before 11 am and will not come back, our company needs to have the pick up made later than 11 am. The driver refuses to come despite the fact we called for pick up Wen we clled the offce,a very rude lady told us that they can do anything for us! Really ?? Is Dicon really a courrier service?

I got nothing but the best service when dealing with Shane from the Ottawa office.
He made sure that my package was delivered on time, was very professional and competent and friendly.
I recommend Dicom, for good service at a great price.

I won a very expensive large format printer on ebay and I got it for really cheap. When it arrived to my place, it was wrecked beyond repair. All I'm getting out of this is what I paid even if it's worth 100 times more. I ordered a working item got home wrecked,,,, they should replace it period.

Apparently, shipping a package via courier from the East Coast of Canada to Toronto isn't as simple as it sounds. My sister originally chose Altimax, who claimed they could deliver anywhere in Canada (when they can't). When reaching somewhere around Quebec/Ontario, Altimax passed my package along to Dicom Express. Dicom made one delivery attempt at around 2PM and, on account of working days, I was not home to recieve it. Next my package went to Brampton, which is apparently their nearest location. This information was on a card they left on my door after discovering I wasn't home.

Now here's where all the problems come in.

1)When calling the number on the card which clearly tells me it's the Brampton number, I get a Quebec office and they then need to transfer me (every time) through TWO other offices.
2)I've been sent two packages but, according to Dicom's waybill, there's only one. I don't know if these were bundled together during the Altimax/Dicom transition or if one package is lost. Also, Dicom can't give me this information because anybody I talk to cannot ever physically get my package.
3)According to their office, two attempts were made to deliver. I only recieved one card and their tracking information on their website only indicated one delivery attempt. That means either the office or their paperwork is lieing to me.
4)I've been given days and time blocks that the package was 'guarenteed to arrive in' with nobody showing up.
5)I've been given a lot of contradictory information. One office worker told me they only deliver in the mornings before 12PM and yet I have a card they left saying they were here at 2PM.
6)I STILL don't have my package. It's been two weeks now and it officially would have been faster, less time consuming, and less stressful to have my package delivered via Canada Post.
7)Their phones have a lot of problems. Half the time I speak with someone I can barely hear them. This is either because certain people are on cordless phones or because their phones are run through manual recording devices and there are too many connections.

To sum everything up: my experience with Dicom and Altimax has been absolutely wretched. Never will I deal with either of these companies again. I strongly advise against it.
