Prices are great and staff is amazing The customer rep that serve me was Abdul and he was Very professional and very funny at the same time and he definitely made me want to come back here and refer my family members to this location…great job guys 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

1. Not professional staff and salesperson. At one instance when I asked for a clarification about the deal, the salesperson yelled at me saying 'can't you read?'. They also give false promises and underdeliver.

2. Terrible customer service. Some of them are very rude and unprofessional. The customer service is useless, they will never get back to you on the issues you report. You see an email once in a while from them but with no solution.

3. I ordered a bed worth $2800 and I did not get the missing parts for over 2 months now. No one responds back or even apologizes.

4. Do you believe that the manager doesn't have an email or extension? Every time I ask for the manager, they either hang up or put me on hold indefinitely. When I ask for an email of the manager, they say he doesn't have one. I am unsure if this is 2020 or 1990.

5. Got a wrong promotional item and no one takes responsibility. I was promised a $100 worth promotional item and got less that $50 worth item and no one at the store wants to talk to me about this issue or takes responsibility.

6. I have the waste boxes sitting for over two months. The salesperson promised me that the boxes will be taken back after installation but no one came back to take the boxes. There are sitting at my home for over two months now.

I am never going back to the brick even though they have good furniture. I would buy at a local furniture store who has better service that these people.

We bought furniture for 21k worth. The bed set we bought we were told is really good quality and it is one of the expensive sets and in few months it broke. Drawers for dresser and night table were never smooth. Even cheaper quality drawers are much better than this set.
We did complain at the store but it’s extremely bad customer service. The store manager Miss Harmony and there is also a male manager both were really rude to us. I am so surprised that after buying furniture for 21K we didn’t get no respect to even consider talking to us respectfully.
We have a huge family and everyone buy furniture from brick, after this experience we’re disappointed.We don’t want this whole bed set at all.Can anyone help us to solve this matter it’s more than a month we’re struggling for this.Please and thank you.My contact number is 647-574-1533..Abdul

I recently bought a washer and dryer at the brick outlet store

The problem began when it got delivered to my home, first off the “ experts” that came to deliver the washer and dryer came late to my home they then came to my unit first and was trying to convince me that the washer and dryer would not fit ( I work with a measuring tape every day why would I buy an appliance if it couldn’t fit )

They asked me to come down stairs to the delivery truck to look at the washer and dryer which I did and they proceeded to measure it in front of me and tell me it wouldn’t fit they even got on the phone with their boss to tell him it wouldn’t fit

I insisted it would fit they then put me on the phone with their boss and he says he trust the “expertise” of his workers and if I decide to go through with it they are NOT responsible for any damages

I said ok they brought the appliances up and to make a long story short the appliances had more than enough room to fit

The brick outlet forgot to pack the hose for the washing machine so the delivery guys ("experts") did not FINISH the job of installing the washer and dryer which is what I PAID FOR

They ended up scratching my floor because they didn't put the legs on the washer machine, again their boss calls them "experts"

It’s going on to a month now and every time I call,Mimi is waiting on a email for them to get back to her oh and Trevor the store manager very nice guy when purchasing the products but when I ran in to this problem it's like he disappeared and Mimi all of sudden is her spokesperson

So basically when you buy from the brick outlet store on 1165 Kennedy Rd Scarborough don't expect that nice customer service you got before you bought their product , when it reaches your home NOT installed properly by their "experts" your basically on your own.

I'm still to this day having to wash and dry my clothes elsewhere while a washer and dryer in my home that doesn't work stares at me ( Mimi said no return policy)

I purchased a mattress and boxspring and received May 10, 2016. I did not purchase the warranty beyond 3 months. Today I had to take box spring off the bed and use the posture board from my bed. The box spring must be broken as every time you sit or lay on it is noisy. Never buy from them again. A waste of my money. From Ruth

The sales staff that helped us were great. They were friendly and accommodating, the delivery guys were also friendly and helpful. That's where the good part ends. The products that were delivered were defective, our mattress was sunk in and bulging out on the left side, the couch had 2 legs that had issues. The first broke when the delivery guys were setting it up, mind you an easier fix as the screw came out of the wood, the other leg however was sticking out the side of the couch. The wood on that side of the couch was not made correctly as it was not aligned and instead of a straight line of wood down the side of the couch it was inwards resulting in a curved angle and the leg stuck way out. The 'technician' came and took pictures. The love seat also had an issue with a leg sticking out the side of the couch. We were told in 3-4 days to call the store to find out the status on the repairs/replacements of the couch and love seat. When my spouse called to enquire and also to ask for a straight exchange on the mattress due to the deformity, the customer service rep through no fault of his own was relaying what the manager, Trevor was telling him. That we would be charged for replacing the brand new defective mattress with a straight exchange. This made no sense as we had the mattress for a week and they claim to have a 90 day guarantee. My spouse asked to speak with the manager, Trevor was constantly talking over him and didn't let my spouse give the information necessary to have a proper conversation about what could be done. Trevor then passed the phone back to the customer service rep while my spouse was speaking. Absolutely unacceptable customer service on the managers part, I will NEVER shop here again and would highly recommend for you to shop elsewhere. When you spend over $2,000 on new furniture you should be treated with more respect. We will be following up with the Corporate office regarding the manager Trevor's behaviour.

This store gave me so many headaches. The deals are good but the hidden print is the delivery service and costumer service!

Delivery is never on time, forcing you to take several days off.
Delivery people are rude as hell and don't give a damn.

They damaged my wall during delivery and I am still waiting on a call after several months.
WORST WORST WORST SERVICE. Go elsewhere!

So, my Mom bought a couch and love seat from the Kennedy Road Brick and it took over 2 months for it to be delivered. When it was delivered the couch was defective...no foam in arm rest at all and stitching was very crooked on back of couch. We called the Brick Jan 14th and was told another couch would be delivered by the end of February and....we're still waiting. It should take over 3 months to receive a satisfactory purchase, should it? I would never shop the Brick, ever.

**IF THEY HAD MINUS STARS, I WOULD HAVE PICKED THAT BUT THEY FORCED ME TO PICK 1 STAR, THAT IS THE POOR SERVICE RATING THE BRICK DESERVES*** THE BRICK ESPECIALLY THE KENNEDY COMMONS HAS BEEN GIVING ME UNACCEPTABLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE SINCE DECEMBER 2015, IT IS NOW FEBRUARY 2016!!!!
THEY DELIVERED DAMAGE PRODUCTS EACH WEEK, THEY WOULD BRING NEW DAMAGED PRODUCTS AND SAY THAT THEY DON'T HAVE AN INVOICE TO TAKE BACK THE PRODUCTS AND WILL LEAVE THE HUGE BOXES WITH THE PRODUCTS INSIDE MY HOUSE, WITH MY LITTLE KIND HAVING TO HAVE AN OBSTACLE COURSE OF BOXES TO HAVE TO WAKL AROUND.
I HAD CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SPOKE TO ERAIVY AND SHE GAVE ME HER E MAIL ADDRESS BECAUSE I WANTED TO SEND HER PICTURES OF MY HOUSE WITH ALL THE BOXES, WITH THE INCONVENIENCE THE BRICK CAUSED AND CAN YOU BELIEVE, I ASKED HER TO REPEAT AND I REPEATED BACK THE ADRESS AND SHE GAVE ME A BOGUS/WRONG EMAIL ADDRESS. NOT GOOD THE BRICK SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE!!!
THE DELIVERY PEOPLE ARE RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE, THEY SEE AND HEAR MY FRUSTRATION AND STILL OFFER NO HELP. I TELL THEM I HAVE KIDS AND IN DECEMBER IT WAS THE HOLIDAYS AND STILL THEY WERE OK WITH LEAVING ALL THE BOXES IN MY HOUSE ON EACH AND EVERY FLOOR.
EACH WEEK THEY CAME I EXPERIENCED MORE STRESS, FRUSTRATION AND THE BRICK DIDN'T EVER OFFER TO HELP. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE ARE CRAP AND OFFER NO HELP. I EVEN WENT BACK INTO THE STORE TO GET HELP AND ASKED TO HAVE A REFUND FOR THE BED TO BE RETURNED AS EACH TIME THEY DELIVERED IT, OVER 4 TIMES, IT HAD BROKEN PIECES AND I WORRIED FOR THE INTEGRITY OF THE PRODUCT. THEY SAID I COULDN'T RETURN IT AND HAD TO ACCEPT THIS FAULTY PRODUCT. I WAS PROMISED SATISFACTION, THAT AT THE NEXT DELIVERY THAT THEY WOULD CHECK THE BOXES BEFORE THE DELIVERY TO ENSURE IT WAS NOT BROKEN. AS YOU CAN IMAGINE I DID NOT TRUST THEIR WORD!! TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, THE DELIVERY TIME IS AN ISSUE AS WELL, EACH WEEK I HAD TO WAIT DURING THEIR 5 HOUR WINDOW. I DIDN'T JUST GET TO HAVE THE DELIVERY TIME I WISHED. EVEN UPTO TODAY THE DELIVERY PEOPLE CAME TO DELIVER AN OTOMAN AND STILL THEY DID NOT TAKE BACK THE BOXES EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ON THE WORK ORDER AS THEY SAID THEY NEEDED SOME OTHER PAPERWORK!!!! THEY SAID TO ME TO HOLD ON, THAT THEY ARE GOING TO THE TRUCK TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEN I LOOKED OUTSIDE AND THEY WERE GONE. LIARS ARE WORKING FOR THE BRICK.
I GOT THROUGH TO SPEAK TO THE STORE MANAGER BACK IN JANUARY NAMED SHANE AND HE PROMISED ME THAT THINGS WOULD BE RESOLVED AND IT IS NOW FEBRUARY AND I STILL HAVE TWO HUGE BOXES OF BROKEN FURNITURE THAT THE BRICK THINKS IS OK TO LEAVE AT MY HOUSE.

I AM NOT THEIR RECYCLING PLANT OR THEIR WAREHOUSE.

THEY SEE ME AS A WOMAN AND I THINK ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE FACT THAT I AM A WOMAN. I THINK IF I WAS A MAN THE DELIVERY PEOPLE WOULD NOT HAVE LEFT THE BOXES EACH TIME.

NOW I HAVE CALLED BACK AGAIN AND STARTED THE CONVERSATION WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH THE WORDS "I HAVE A MAJOR COMPLAINT TO MAKE" AND THE LADY SAID 'PLEASE HOLD' CAN YOU BELIEVE THEY HAD ME ON HOLD FOR OVER 6 MINUTES??? THIS IS AFTER WHAT I SAID. THEN, THEN, THEY SAID THEY WILL PUT ME ON TO THE INITIAL SALES REP NAMED EDMON WE HAD IN DECEMBER!!!!! LIKE HE IS OR CAN HELP ME FINALLY GET SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE OR SATISFACTION. LET'S SEE.....IT IS 1 HOUR LATER, HE SAID HE WILL SPEAK TO HIS MANAGER NAMED EDSON AND THAT HE WILL GET BACK TO ME. LMAO!!! FORGIVE ME IF I DON'T BELIEVE HIM. I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH THE BRICK FOR 2 MONTHS.
THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY WORDS OF A CREDIT ON MY CREDIT CARD OR ANY COMPENSATION OR EVEN ANY APOLOGIES FROM ANYONE!!!! SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE...N..O...T...!!!!!

PLEASE, I IMPLORE EVERYONE TO PLEASE NOT SHOP AT THIS OR ANY THE BRICK LOCATIONS. THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY WANT THE CUSTOMER TO UPHOLD THEIR END OF THE DEAL BY PAYING THEIR BILL...MINE IS TO THE TUNE OF $5000 BUT THIS IS AFTER ALL THIS HORRIBLE SERVICE. THEY HAVE NO ACCOUNTABILITY!!!

Bought all my house appliaces here. Was told dishwasher is standard size when i bought it and sold warranty on it too for customer satisfaction. Called back to inform dishwasher doesnt fit properly and was informed nothing can be done about it. No help, just attitude. Never buy from here

I had a purchase delivered to my house today @ 1:00 p.m. (while i was not around) I called the store at 1:20 p.m. asking how i can return one of the item, since I would like to purchase a different bed from Brick (which is more expensive). Store told me I cannot return it (still in original box) I even said i will personally bring it down, they refused and hung up on me.

All day long I have been trying to get a hold of someone who can assist me, but no luck. Everyone and their attitude. I have tried to get in touch at the head office but no luck. Store basically told me though luck. I have been a Loyal customer for Brick for years (you can see with my transaction history).

I am still looking for a resolution from someone regarding this or I can say moving on forward you will lose my business (most likely you guys don't care).

P.s. - I was never given any delivery date when i purchased it, so i did not know when it was arriving.

I purchased the order...
Order I received was different item..I want the next day .
A staff checked and advised that the code nbr was written incorrectly and the
item I ordered was higher price and would not deliver the item that was showed to me

I CANCELLED THE ORDER....Will not go to Bricks again

I have some bad experiences with the brick and leons which led me to start looking elsewhere for furniture. i stumbled on some furniture stores but a few caught my attention. There was this particular store located at kingston and galloway called Mude Furniture that carried the same items that the kennedy stores carried but at a much lower price (and they did price matching + 5% -to10% off on top of the price matched items); I highly recommend anyone looking for furniture or mattresses to go there!

I bought a couch and 5 year warranty from The Brick - 1 year ago the couch starting crumbling and falling apart, I tried to get it replaced with the warranty they got me to buy and it's been nothing but lies and excuses as to why they can't let me use my warranty. Finally 3 months after contacting them and countless hours on the phone with this Scarborough location and their long distance warranty head office, they send me my replacement couch with a hole in it. I called them and they said they'd deliver a new one the next weekend - they did not and now when I call they put me on hold and then hang up on me. Honestly, DO NOT buy anything at any Brick ever - prices may be low but you will pay for it in wasted time, phone minutes, frustration and weeding through lies and overtly rude customer services reps.

This store is eager to sell you furniture but when it comes to the delivery of the furniture they drop the ball. The first time it was to be delivered they were 1and 1/2 hours latw and did not call so I canceled. Now I rescheduled and they gave me a time oof between 12:00 and 3:00 so I took the day off work and now it is after 3 and still no furniture and no phone call. This is last time I buy anything at the Brick nor will o recommend them to anyone

I was looking for a bedroom suite and the pieces were not in one location but placed throughout the store. (chest of drawers in with living room furniture, night table in another location, dresser near the TV's etc etc. I was walking all over the place and never saw a complete set. A disaster!! Think about your customer's wants & make separate areas for living room, dining room, bedroom furniture etc. As it is now, pure chaos! No sales from me!
