King Recycling & Waste Dspsl, Etobicoke Reviews (2)
With the city no longer accepting bricks and the price being raised at the Leslie Street Spit it's been hard to find a place to dispose of bricks in Toronto. BUT after searching for days for somewhere that will take Bricks I came across King Recycling. They have a little transfer station in the back where they let the public dump bricks!
I'm used to going up to Ingram with loads of garbage or yard waste in my pickup, where they have an incoming scale and a leaving scale. It was a little confusing as a first timer at King.
You pull in on the weigh scale, wait for the green light then go dump your bricks in the back (the guy back there will tell you where to go) then you park on the scale when on your way out and walk up the long exterior stairs to their weigh office. They charge 45 bucks per 1000kg with a $45 minumum. Pretty decent rate.
I had a load of about 600kg. Will be returning with the rest soon.
