If I could score lower than a 1 we would. Two summers ago we paid to have a top of the line Storm Door installed costing almost 3 times normal doors. We are a corner house and sometimes get strong winds due to a Hydro Right of Way near us. The salesman wrote on our bill 5 year warranty on door. That would be great but they did a shoddy installation job. Now they claim interior screws inside the frame keep coming out due to high winds. In other words they are claiming that wind can unscrew screws. I guess the winds have invisible hands or maybe a ghost is helping them get unscrewed. When we first contacted them the service staff said I must have the original bill to prove purchase. In between looking for that we were dealing with a parent that was slowly passing away and many times couldn't look for the bill. When the bill was found after mother had passed away they were closed until January 2019. Service Lady manager said they only give 1 year warranty on doors, doesn't matter what my invoice says. Another person calls and says if I retract my complaint to BBB then they will come out. I said what proof do I have you will ever come if we withdraw our complaint. They know we are both Disabled and don't give a dam. Save your money and avoid these crooks with a useless warranty at all costs. We are going to have to hire another firm to reinstall this door that they couldn't be bothered to guarantee the quality of their own installers which is very poor customer service and to take advantage of Disabled people shows you the business ethics and integrity of their company.

Choose Consumers if you want your project to go months beyond the "Guaranteed Completion" date and to have leaky windows only to be made to feel it's your fault.

The full story, we had 15 windows and a door that needed replacing, after getting a couple of quotes we went with consumers even as it was not the lowest. We chose them as the 'guaranteed completion date' gave us piece of mind that the project would be finished within a few months (Nov/2017).

As we approached the date I had heard nothing form consumers, I called and they said the windows had not been manufactured yet and the date would need to be pushed back. Upon reviewing the contract I saw that they could do this without penalty. **WARNING 1 - THE GUARANTEE DATE MEANS NOTHING**

This continued into 2018 when the job was finally started. It was a couple of windows at a time and I ended up feeling like an unpaid manager as I constantly had to stay on top of consumers and the installer to get any work done **WARNING 2 - THEY WILL NOT CALL YOU, YOU WILL HAVE TO CALL THEM MANY MANY TIMES**

When we got half way though the job we notice one window was leaking, badly. We called the installer and he came to look at the issue. Time and time again he indicated the problem was that our siding was different than most and implied it was not his fault or problem. He did reluctantly fix the leak. Then surprise surprise, another leak in a different window, same story, call the installer, be made to feel like it is not his fault. This time he says the 3rd window on that side will probably leak as well and left without addressing the problem he knows is coming. Sure enough, next rainstorm, big leak, call again and get it reluctantly fixed. **WARNING 3 - OUR WINDOWS LEAKED BADLY AND WE WERE MADE TO FEEL LIKE IT WAS OUR FAULT**

After many months of playing project manager we finally had the job completed in June of 2018, this is 8 months after the meaningless guarenteed completion date. As a farewell gift our installer left the stickers on the window inside our attic which is difficult to access, looks unprofessional, but hey, par for the course.

I contacted a manager named Paul at consumers to express my displeasure and to see if we could reach a settlement for this ridiculous experience. After some back and forth their best and final offer was 1.6% of the job cost returned. I reluctantly agreed to this miniscule renumeration, but hey, jokes on me, that was one month ago and no cheque has arrived.

Avoid these jokers at all costs. Try and get a quote from a local company that will have some loyalty to your neighborhood and the project.

This was the last window to be updated in my home and Consumer's Choice has done them all. The largest of all windows, it's a three panel large picture window with two operating side windows. The process to order and install all went very well and was completed quickly with no mess.

The contractors were on time and work very clean.

The salesman came to our house and was very helpful in making th right patio doors choice for our house and the installation went great! I would recommend to others.

The salesperson was polite, punctual, knowledgeable and really took his time to explain our options and the entire process. His down-to-earth, quiet approach made made us feel comfortable. The installer worked at a time convenient to us and was and attentive to detail. When I pointed out that one window screen was too tight, he ordered a new one for us. Again, he was patient, polite and tidy. We honestly felt like these people cared!

When we initially contacted Consumers Choice windows we were just going to get our Bay window done but when Allan their sales representative was here we were very impressed by their windows so we got an estimate on our entire home and as a result booked to get our entire house new windows. A few short weeks later we got a call to book for the install of our new windows. Scott was very professional and detail oriented. He showed us how to use our windows and we are very pleased. Our windows look wonderful and our home is much warmer. We would certainly recommend Consumers Choice. Thanks!

Our home had been remodeled about five years ago. The contractor provided and installed a front entry door. We could feel cold air in the area. We were never satisfied with the front entry. I had three companies come to price this job. None could match the price point or service we received from Consumers Choice. The salesman was very knowledgeable, the installers were absolutely the best. They were in our home for two days .They were very tidy and respectful of our home . We hardly knew they were in and out of the house. I highly recommend this company and would most definitely use them for any future work we may need . We feel we scored a ten on this work. The installers sealed the deal with their true artistry , installation of the door glass side panels , decorative glass panel over the door and the two windows were perfect. We have had so many compliments even from the mail man.

The employees from customers choice improvement were very professional,their work was clean and organized, from the beginning of meeting them to the end of contracting signing, i would recommend them to anyone that needs the same work done for their home.

I had a set of double doors on my home that were quite drafty, and as only one door opened anyway, I decided to replace with a single door, with two side inserts. The salesperson was veryhelpful in discussing options and all of the individuals who performed the work were courteous and efficient. I had one challenge related to the tax rebate as I had been told the tax would not appear on my bill, but when the installer came it was showing and I was being asked to wait for the reimbursement. This was a misunderstanding and the staff were able to rectify the situation quicly and without any hassle. Much appreciated! The installer also made recommmendations for me based on his observations on water damage and verified that my door was often in the direct path of rain. He has recommended some type of storm door, which I need to act on in the future. The quality of the work is high. I have noticed that a very small area of caulking has pulled away from the vinyl, but I've been lazy about calling this in. Perhaps they will read this review and contact me to come fix it...please! I highly recommend the company.

I order windows & doors from Consumer's Choice in late June. They installed them just before Labour Day. Wow what a difference in look & also in heating, neighbours & family think there great.

Highly recommend this company for quality windows. Excellent products and customer service.

We will be using them again in 2013.

The pricing from this company was inline with the three others I had. There sales rep was able to answer all my question I had. I would not hesitate in recommending them to friends and family.

The sales representative was amazing, he listened to what we wanted and didn't try to sell us add ons/extras. He didn't go to the most expensive doors he had but what was practical. The admin team kept in touch regarding measurements and installation. At time of installation the job was done well and fast. Customer service was amazing and everyone was super polite and answered our questions with ease. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family.

After I received my estimates from a few companies and after careful consideration I choose them to do the work. If you are thinking about replacement windows & doors for your house; it would be my recomendation to go with Consumers Choice. I used them about 2 years ago to replace my large dining room window and my kitchen window. I wanted to get them back to do the rest of the windows & patio door, so called them up for a quote. I also got a couple other quotes as well. It tirns out that one other company was a bit less expensive for the same type of windows. Because I wanted to use Consumers Choice again, I thought I would advise them of the other quote. They were more than happy to work with me on the price. They really do have a committment to customer satisfaction. Once the contract was signed, they came and final measured the windows and then called to arrange an installation date. They showed up when they said they would; took their shoes off in the house; used drop clothes to catch any debris; and completely cleaned up after themselves. This installation crew was top notch (and lucky for me - they were the same guys that had installed the dining room & kitchem window a couple years ago). I only WISH that I could caulk like these guys! Once they had finished & cleaned up, they took the time to show me how each different type of window worked as well. The whole installation went off without a hitch & the windows & patio door look great! I am sure that these new windows will make a big difference when the cold weather gets here. Again, if you want a great experience with new windows/doors; right from the salesman through installation - you won't be disappointed in Consumers Choice. I would gladly recomment them to my friends!

The buying and installation were done with the utmost professionalism, the salesman was knowledgeable and not pushy, the installer was pleasant and had 30 yrs experience, he did an exceptional job with which I a extremely pleased and it is a lovely product with a transferable warranty. Altogether a pleasant experience.

This is the 2nd time that I have used Consumers Choice (the first time was for a patio door replacement a few years ago) and once again the job was done in a professional, efficient and friendly manner. I will definitely consider using them in the future.

Everyone associated with the purchase and installation were helpful, professional and concerned with our satisfaction. Their attention to details and neatness are to be commended. The sales person ( Mike) took time to explain every detail and was available to answer any questions we had. We had one installation group for the windows and another for the entry door. Both were extremely good(10 out of 10 ). They cleaned up after and checked to see if we were satisfied. The installations were followed by a call from the customer service dept. to see if we were totally satisfied. It was a pleasure to deal with Consumers Choice and would highly recommend them.
