Just took my conure here to get his wings and nails cut and I was in and out. Staff was friendly and very informative. The price is great. I can not be any more pleased.

We take our cat "Bella" to Karen's every couple of weeks for nails and she is probably the most scared, shy cat anyone has ever met. It's hard for us to take her anywhere because she is so scared!! I wrap her in a blanket to go in and for some reason when she situates herself on the table, she relaxes and listens to Karen talk to her..I must say.. not many people can get our Bella to relax. But every time she is done, her nails look great, short and very happy.
Thanks Karen!

See you soon xo

Made a huge mistake taking my dog to Karon's Groom Shoppe, should be called Karon's Doom shoppe because your dog is doomed if he goes there. My dog had already had a poor experience being stolen from our yard and in the shelter over night and when I brought him there to be cleaned up I didn't expect him to come home with his inner ears scalped from how pourly Tiffany ripped out the hair in his ears and then she didn't even clean them. He had to go to the Vets for the inflammation caused. No dog should experience
their "doom" shoppe for any reason.

I take my saint bernards to Karens shoppe, and they are returned happy, well spoiled, and groomed beautifully(which is no easy task considering how mucky and how many knots they can get). They are able to handle both at the same time and always do a fantastic job. They come home pretty, happy and I am always, always pleased with the service

I used to take my poodle to this groom shop before he passed and was very happy with the service and the care they provided him. Now I have a Shih Tzu and am taking her now and feel the same way as I did before. Thanks for giving her great haircuts and tender service.

Hi I am looking for a new groomer for our Bichon..After reading the review from the unhappy canine owner I have decided to keep looking...Unprofessional responses or lack of them to one person is one too many for me...Thanks for the honest review...You spared my dog..it is hard to get a great groomer..especially in Oshawa..alot of these so called groomers have no idea how to do proper cuts per breed...Sad Sad reality here in the big O....

My Schnauzers Lily and Peaches are real pretty after their grooming. Lily is a real screamer but the groomers are able to handle her with no problem.

I use their services on a regular basis. My girls, Ginger and Misty come out looking beautiful and very happy. I have referred them to my family who now go there as well.

My bassets love going here. They are very good with animals and always treat them like family. Complete with bandanas. I recommend them to all my friends.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GROOMER!! I brought my Westie in for a "Westie cut". My first impression was not a great on since the place in a hole in the wall. It had an awful smell but I figured maybe this was normal for a groom shop (we have always had our dogs groomed by a licensed groomer in home) The girl at the counter seemed very friendly and professional. Asking me questions how I wanted him groomed and she took notes. Anyways, they told me 3-4 hours until I could pick him up.???? What? Thats ridiculous! I should have walked away right there. Anyways, I called at 4 hours and was told a half hour he would be ready. When I got there, I paid before bringing him out to us. I saw him locked in a kennel on a table and was shocked to see how short his fur was. I asked how he was. The girl said he was vocal and made some weird noises (which my dog does..he talks so to say) I laughed thinking that was a good sign that he was happy. Then she said " We have a quiet room and we just put him in there, it doesn't bother us,we can't hear them" I was horrified. :( But I kept a smile on face just wanting to see my dog. So they brought him out and he was cut very short in the face. Nothing like it should have been. Never the less, I was happy to see my baby so we took him and left. When I got home I took a closer look at him. He looked ridiculous. His face was cut way too short and they totally cut his chin fur down. Not what a Westie is suppose to have. His longer side fur was left so long and looked silly in comparison to his head. His tail was shaved instead of clipped into a carrot shape and his ears were shaved and I specifically asked to have them left shaggy on the sides to add to the fullness in the face. He was supposed to be tipped, which means the tips of the ears are shaved short. I also question if he was let out to the bathroom in that time for the second we got out of the car he made it 5 feet before pooping on our stone walkway. This is not like my dog at all! He is always very particular when he does his business and never on a hard surface. :( I called them to voice my concerns, I wasn't even able to finish when the groomer cut me off and said in a tone, "If you want your money back, come and get it" So, I obviously said OK, I went and picked up my refund plus tip and tried again to apologize and say that I was originally just calling to express my complaint and to ask for his sides be re-done to match his head. I got "Sorry" out before I was handed my cash. So, I left with my money. I will NEVER go back there and will be sure to tell anyone I know not to go to this establishment. Even with the refund, the end result is poor. My dog looks ridiculous and the staff were rude when i tried to express my complaint.

I used to shop around for different groomers but not any more. Dexter (my dog) comes home happy, and less shaggy than when heleft. They are kind to the animals and treat them well. The place may be on the older side but the kindness is what counts!

They do a good job but the shop smells badly of cat urine when you open the door. The ventilation is bad, the windows are covered in rivulets of water

Sam & Obi would like to thank Karon's for all their loving care and expertise. After trying different groomers for 4 or 5 years, we will definitely be going back to Karon's. Mommy and Daddy were thrilled with our look and how unstressed we were after our grooming. We will also tell all our doggie friends.
Thanks again.

I use your services and find it to be the best so far. I had used others but keep coming back. I even bring my friend's dog's to you.

Keep up the good work.
