It was the best pet store in Saskatchewan. the owner really knew everything about pets. He always had time for his customers. took excellent care of all the pets in his store. prices were reasonable.. Anything you need to know he knew.The big box stores are all about money no personal care & way, way over priced. the staff knows nothing about birds, animals or which food is best for different animals or critters.
Its so sad when big box stores put our excellent small business people out of business. people wake up & support your small business people .

If you want high quality pets not from basement breeders and good advice Curtis Is your guy. It's a small shop ... But it's got alot of heart and the best price on crickets for sure and as far as reptiles go you shouldn't go anywhere else.... If you want a healthy pet.... I got geckos from petland that got sick and died in less then a year... Prolly only a few months. And a hamster who died in less then a month. Talk about heart break, the hamster I got from Curtis is gorgeous and friendly and super healthy. I've had her over a year now maybe closer to two. And if you want healthy fish. Every time I get fish from petsmart I get ich and they die..... Sigh... It's just not worth it to try any more. It seems the big box chain stores just focus on quantity not quality and the animals as just a product. I strongly recommend people should shop at world of pets and help the little guy stay a float so we can have that option of quality...

Curtis has knowledge in the pet industry. His prices are comparable and customer service is excellent.There is no where else I would support!

This place i have came to for the past 5 years. Kurtis the owner of the place is always up to knowlege of every animal he has. I wouldent go to any other place in the city besides him. You think Pet-Smart has lots of knowlege, Go to one guy and hes at WORLD OF PETS and compare!

i love shopping at world of pets! i always get a good laugh when i go there. its always the highlight of my day. thanks curtis! :)

We are so happy we went to World of Pets to buy our snake. Curtis is very knowledgable, and he truly cares about your critter. His prices are more than fair on accessories and such as well...and he is a local guy, not a big chain pet store!!

Not as polished and big as the box store places but makes up for it in knowledge, prices and caring. Curtis has been working with animals since before I was born and knows way more than any big box store chain with a new kid helping you every time you go there.

Great place, great owner - who is actually there to help you with his knowledge and care; great fair prices...I'm very happy to have found this little piece of pet heaven. Thank you for giving me an alternative to the crappy walmart like pet stores with kids who couldn't tell the difference between a cat and a dog running the show.

Best pet store in Saskatoon. Curtis (the owner) has been in the business for 24 years now, and continues to run the only pet store in town where you can speak to someone knowledgeable and be assured the animals are treated well.
