Driver does not check routes to know traffic issues making me late at cancer care by 20 min

I usually with a good driver arrive on time for about $30 to $35 this driver bill was around $42
Booked taxi at 9:15 to arrive in plenty of time they wanted me here at 9:45 I arrived 10:20
I paid him $30 he kept yelling not fair it’s not his fault

My last driver pick up from willow point the driver knew the fastest route he told me he checked
If you think I should pay another $12 I would like to know WHY

Called for a cab driver was rude didn't help with my elderly mom's Walker and they are supposed to, he was very rude
Missed my pick up by 35 minutes...and no call no apologies just excusses
Called this service at around 4 pm and i asked for a cab at my location, the call taker is very rude and i was asking politely what he said but instead he yelled "WHERE ARE YOU", after that I said my location and as soon as i finished speaking he said something quietly. I said "pardon?" He yelled "WHERE ARE YOU GOING", I said the address of my destination and he just laughed and said its pretty close and ended the call. This happened before two times and I decided to give them a third and last chance. So fed up with this and unicity. Both are extremely bad. Cant wait for uber.
Had a cab drop two young girls off in the middle of a major highway because we would not give them cash up front. We had credit cards but they would not except them. They wanted cash only. Two men kicked us out of the cab in the middle of the dangerous road. When we called about the cab the company refused to speak with is and discontinued the calls. I would not recommend This company. They were rude, inconsiderate and completely unconcerned with our wellbeing. Do not use this company.
Called a taxi from outside of winnipeg. Was there in 20 mins. Friendly and nice. Drove us home. We forgot a cell phone and house keys in the cab. They called us back and returned everything without an issue. THANK YOU!!!! Will call for a safe loyal ride home anyday!!!!
Today experienced worst service of Duffy. Called at 10:32 PM on 20th May 2016. At around 10:50pm called again to know the status coz of no show of cab. Told representative that m waiting for around 20 minutes whats the status of my cab request. In return she replied that you called at 10:34pm. I dont know what she wanted to imply by stating that.. She had no respect that in what situation some one is waiting for their cab. I suppose she was there to provide customer service not customer frustration.
I asked her again how long more it will take and on the top of that in a rude voice she informed 15-20 minutes.. I dont have stars in minus here, I would have given them -5 stars.
My suggestion do not book if you have other options may be another taxi service. As I booked on Unicity taxi and it came within 10 minutes..

Waited almost 30 minutes for cab to come. Finally got sick of waiting and called unicity. They came right away. The drivers are crying around that they don't want things like Uber in winnipeg...well how about better service and cheaper rates. Disgusting. And if they don't post this I'm writing a letter to newspapers and also posting on Facebook.
awful company the dispatchers are always in a foul mood and seem annoyed at answering the calls I lost an important set of keys in a cab last week and not only were they not turned in but duffys denied even dispatching a cab to my address...wish i got the cab number.. today i called and a miserable voice came on the line to dispatch my cab. since we live in one of the coldest cities in north america and i live in a basement suite with no windows facing the street i asked for a call up and she acted as if she had no idea what i was talking about.. said they dont do call ups? when i explained i have been offered in the past she admitted they do but cant guarantee they will come through..and finally she begrudgingly agreed to put one in for me. Drivers are friendly but i was asked for a deposit before i went into pick up my prescription (i loved across the street from shoppers and was stopping on the way to work) i only had a 20 and when i came back out after only a moment the cab had taken off. this wasn't the first or last time a driver tried to scam me. I did try to call in after but the supervisor denied this ever happened, refused to give me his name then blocked my number. i would boycott duffys but unicity is even worse ( dont get me started on unicity)
On Friday, November 27th, at 7:29pm, this cab was taking up two handicap spots as he dropped a fare off at the liquor store and waited for the fare to come out. How ignorant can a cab be? Hey, I am sure no handicapped people will want these spots, both of them.
The worst experience. The cab took a hour and a half, dispatchers don't give an estimated time and when you call back after waiting 40 minutes they were rude and had no clue how much longer we would have to wait. The worst customer service ever. Ended up driving ourselves cause Duffy taxi is the most unreliable company in winnipeg.
Paid the driver $200 up front for a ride to teulon to get my car keys that I forgot and he was supposed to bring me back to winnipeg. $100 each way, well soon as I got in the house to get my car keys the driver took off. I forgot to get the cab # terrible experience
I take Duffy's all the time. Their cabs are on time and drivers are friendly and polite. I will continue to use and recommend this company.

I am using Duffy's Taxi from last year.The Drivers are very helpful and polite. Most of the times when I called them, they picked me within 10 minutes.Dispatchers are very supportive.

On Nov. 29 a Duffy's Taxi driver apparently altered a credit card slip after I left the vehicle to add $5 to the bill. This is clearly theft; a matter which Duffy's management has so far ignored & which I've taken to the MB Taxicab Board. I urge customers to boycott Duffy's &, if they have to use them, keep a very close eye on their drivers. As a frequent visitor to the city I'll be urging my collegues to avoid this company at all costs.
I have always had great, friendly service from Duffy's Taxi staff (dispatchers and drivers). I have always been picked up within 10 minutes or so of my call.
One of Duffy's drivers picks up passengers in the middle of traffic in the left lane of Henderson Highway (next to the boulevard)! The cab number is 248, license number XAC 720 at 8 pm on May 25th 2009. I don't think this driver should have done that. All he had to do is put his flasher on to get to the curb and pick up these passengers. Instead he held up traffic and endangered the lives of these 3 passengers!
I come from Canada but live in England, Used your company all the time I was in Mamitoba. Found it a great service please keep the the service flying.
