Purchased frying pan from Amazon.ca website July 15. Product warped after several uses. Contacted manufacturer for exchange on August 31. Exchange has been processed and i was informed that the item will be shipped with estimated deliver in 8-18 days. Parcel received on October 7 (after my reminding email... where it was actually shipped on October 5th) with the wrong/different model replacement product inside. Contacted manufacturer to inform about it and got an answer: "Unfortunately, we do not have the model you had, which is why we have had to send the different model. Please note that we cannot process refunds, so if we can arrange to have you return the replacement, however, if you do go ahead with the return, please note that we have already sent you what we can offer and we cannot process a refund. " Tried to contact manufacturer multiple times since then with no reply or answer made. Pretty much they sold me defective product with lifetime warranty guarantee, failed to exchange it with a proper one and refused to arrange return/refund. All of the correspondence, pictures, labels etc available. Replacement product is unused and was not removed from the original packaging, since i don't need it and cannot use the one i've purchased. It looks like they just not interested in doing anything and prefer just to keep my money, that i won't let them do.

We have had two defective Cusinart kettles in past 3 years. The first kettle was replaced by mail. The replacement kettle is defective with a different problem. Customer service told us to cut the power cord in half and mail in the plug. We tried to do that but the cost is $17. We asked for a voucher to mail the kettle and they suggested the plug option. Because package containing plug is oversize the charge is $17. Cusinart customer service recommended a Zoom on line meeting to prove that the powercord is severed. Very mistrustful, but we agreed. Agent set up a Zoom time and told us to call anytime until 4;30 p.m. ET. We called at 4:10 p.m. and were on hold with no one answering the Zoom request until their closing at 4:30 p.m. ET. Terrible service. We have requested to speak with a supervisor.

On 13 Sep, 2018 I have ordered replacement Carafe to Cuisinart coffeemaker DCC-1100C to be delivered in Toronto area. On 21 Sep. 2018 on Cuisinart website the status for my order was still the same “Not Shipped”.
I tried to send email to customer service the same day to verify why my item still not shipped but didn’t get any reply.
Than on 21 Sep.2015 I sent another email to cancel my order and still didn’t get a reply.
On 24 Sep.2018 I tried to call Cuisinart Customer Service at 1-800-472-7606 but nobody answered on my call only the same message was circling that all representatives are busy advising to leave a phone number for representative to call back but nobody call back.
After a numerous time of calling and living messages representative called me back and advised me that my item was shipped last Friday, that was not true at all, and told me that he cannot cancel my order.
After that my order status on Cusinart website changed to “Shipped” and after that I got email the second day that they shipped the item even I told representative that I don’t want it anymore and ignoring my cancellation request.
I did’t get The item by refusing it at the post office and advised them to send the item back to Cuisinart. Today is Oct. 4, 2018 and I still didn’t get any reply from Cuisinard on email not by phone.
Think twice before you buy any product or spare parts from Cuisinart if you don’t want to have problems or waisting your time to get in touch with them when you need them or try to resolve an issue.
I got my spare part from Amazon delivered in 3 business days by the way without any problem.
I will never deal with or buy anything from Cuisinart CANADA for sure.

If you don’t believe why folks are complaining about the horrible “service” there just try to call and reach anybody there at 1-800-472-7606 their customer service phone number or try to send them email with any question to customer_service@cuisinart.ca and see if you get any reply.
Good luck with that and trying to resolve any issue or problem with them.

if you are trying to reach them via phone or email, forget it. When you do get someone it is horrible. I ordered a coffee maker online 3 months ago. It still shows "processing". It arrived at my house and leaks, and then I am told "we don't do refunds". After literally hours of trying to get a hold of someone I finally get them to send me a pre paid label to send it back. I sent it back a month ago now, and it has yet to be processed. As I am writing this it is 915am and I have been on hold waiting to talk to someone AGAIN, for 46 mins and counting. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a portable barbecue and broken the regulator while moving it. Called for a replacement part and was told they are not available that they are on back order. That was 7 months ago. Well barbecue season is almost over. No word yet. That it for purchasing a product that can't find or produce major components.

Have a single serve cuisinart coffeemaker - 6 months old that just quit working (no power).

The Cuisinart warranty is for 3 years, but you must send the machine at your own cost ($75.00) to their Ontario location. They will repair or replace, but not reimburse you for the cost of sending, which makes the warranty absolutely useless. They should have repair depots in all major cities

I HAVE A MIXER ,MODEL # SM55C. I WILL NOT LOCK DOWN ON THE ARM. BATTER FLIES ALL OVER MY KITCHEN WALLS MANY TIMES AS THE ARM LIFTS BY IT SELF. I HAVE CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE,WITH A PROMISE TO SEND A PART TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. NEVER RECEIVED THE PART. IF I HAD RECEIVED THE PART,HOW AM I TO PUT IT ON ???? THIS MIXER IS VERY HEAVY AND WOULD COST MORE THAN IT WAS WORTH TO SEND IT BACK, AS SUGGESTED FOR REPAIR. A REPAIR SERVICE IN MY AREA IS OVER 100 MILES AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TIME FOR ME TO GO SHOPPING FOR A COMPETIVE MIXER AS MY SISTER HAS.

Appalling customer service. No response to emails and never have manged to reach a customer service rep. on the telephone. The 1-800-472-7606 number is a waste of time. Have wasted hours trying to contact them.

I really like this grinder- so much that this is the 3rd and last one!
There is a plastic washer part that keeps breaking- cheaply made-
i will look for a new brand.

Average use is about two cups, or less, per day. Works well when it works properly. Ours quit once- lights came on but nothing else worked. Tried it every now and again for about a month and got nowhere. Then, one day, it inexplicably started working again and has been fine for several months. Now, however, for the second time, the steam wand is/was leaking from around the plastic/nylon wand nut. It was quite loose & broke when I tried to tighten it. No, I did not over tighten it. (Or at least a nut in good shape wouldn't have been over tightened!) It was hardly even snug when it broke! There's an obvious-to-the-naked-eye chemical degradation in the material and normal usage causes the threads (and o-rings) on the plastic/nylon nut to deteriorate. Last time I was able to get a replacement steam wand nut (they call it) and it was relatively easy to install. Two years later, I have the same problem as do hundreds, if not thousands, of others. It's an obviously poor design and/or use of material but, as near as I can tell, Cuisinart hasn't upgraded either material or design after years of complaints. Worse, they won't sell the cheapo part to fix your expensive machine, even to “qualified” repair shops.
I'm a fix everything kinda guy and understand when things are actually worn out, beyond worth repairing. With our machine that's not the case. A simple part would fix an otherwise decent machine at minimal expense. Cuisinart apparently wants everybody to buy a new machine and I guess I will.... if I can find somebody who builds a decent quality machine, who will improve and change the problematic components of their equipment, and who will make the improved repair parts for their machines available . It won't be a Cuisinart, at least in the foreseeable future!

I am a slow learner! After purchasing 5 Grind and Brew coffeemakers and a sixth one for a gift...all ending with the same issue with leaking at the bottom of the coffee maker and the pump not working, i just called Cuisinart and yes, they want me to send coffee maker in, pay for shipping and repairs and return shipping. With taxes, these machines cost nearly three hundred dollars. The coffee they make is outstanding if you buy a good quality coffee bean however, I will be throwing out my fifth coffee maker and will not be purchasing another Cuisinart again! i suggested she send me a coupon to purchase another coffee maker. She indicated that Cuisinart does not do such promotions. These coffee makers only last about two years and then the pump goes and the leaking starts. The coffee maker we gave as a gift last June is already leaking. i advised the couple to return ASAP! A rating of one star is far too high!

Disorganized warehouse. Disgraceful service levels.

- Parts you send back for warranty replacement sit for two or three weeks (after receipt) before anyone even looks at them.
- If you phone to inquire where your part is, they usually have no idea.
- Typically, they require 3 months to replace even the simplest defective item.

Purchased an electic kettle two years ago thinking it would last, considering the cost. It just packed it in. contacted Cuisinart - told to send kettle, at my cost and include $10. for return post to Ontario(I'm in BC)
Should have known better. Tried to buy a coffee maker twice and took them both back within a week as they just kept malfunctioning.
I am now going to send a letter to head office and see if they are willing to rectify situation.

my $150 blender broke after 4 uses, I paid for shipping to AND from the manufacturing (still waiting for its return), it cost me $40 to get it fixed and I based on the first 4 uses it will likely break again.

I will never buy cuisinart again.

I will never buy another overpriced cuisinart product as long as I live, paid over $100.00 for a coffee maker that would leak all over my countertop and another $100.00 or so for a 4-slice toaster that only toasts one side,I could have paid less than half as much for that. kind of poor quality. The old saying "you get what you pay for"sure does not apply to their appliances .Fool me once.

The worse customer service I have ever had to deal with. My food processor broke more than 6 months ago. I had to pay to ship it back to Cuisinart. Finally got a replacement several weeks after and the replacement broke after using it twice...I am still waiting for a replacement...Will NEVER buy Cuisinart again!!!

I think that the parts are terribly overpriced. They suggest that it doesn't pay to buy

them. They want you to buy a new machine even though it is still working beautifully

Smoke coming out of my 1 1/2 year old cuisinart smart stick handblender. Phoned customer service, they asked me to ship it to Ontario at my cost and also send a $10 cheque so they can mail it back to me. I already paid $50 to buy this blender. The onus should be on cuisinart to pay for all shipping and handling! The customer service rep. told me to take it back to where I bought it from - probably get better service there. Will not use another cuisinart, conair or waring product again!
