Dr Gok Ratnarajan treat the patient so bad because I took my mother-in-law for her eye appointment. This incident happened on August 16, 2016 at 11:00a,. When he came into the room with his nurse, we were asking few questions to clear our doubts about the treatment, he said this to the nurse "I never saw this kind of idiots in my life". He said that in front of me and he think that i am stupid and that i don't understand English. After that I didn't ask or say a word until we came out of that room because i was so mad at him for disrespecting me and my mother-in-law, I believe that he doesn't have the right qualification as a doctor.

They charge $100 for same day cancellation, regardless of the emergency. My husband and son has been with them for years despite the long wait time because we just did not want to change doctors so as to keep the medical history. I have never cancelled before, there is no sign in the office relating to cancellation and they do not advise you on booking that if you cancel there will be a cancellation fee of $100. Despite explaining the situation the lady (I will not include her name as the intention is not to defame but to inform)made it clear that under no circumstances they waive the fee. I really think that is unfortunate and I cannot continue patronizing them. Just thought I would also advise the public so you are aware as the fee is excessive and you will not know unless you need to cancel

This place just does NOT care about their patients or issues they are having regarding their vision. Not sure who decided to put that "Jackie" woman in charge of phones. She has awful customer service skills and seems very apathetic. She sounds like she recites a script, does not go out of her way to help you find a solution, does not accommodate requests for earlier appointments and is very condescending if you happen to let your irritation/impatience show. Once she booked my elderly mom at the Brampton clinic despite my repeating several times that my mom lives in Mississauga and prefers the Erin Mills location.
In contrast, from what I hear, the doctors at this place are very good, but they really need to find someone else to do the receptionist duties as this Jackie woman is clearly making this place look bad. I am looking for another specialist for my mom, as I refuse to take her to this place.

Why do we have to wait for more then 10 mins on phone to get to a representative for enquiries or booking?

Sept 24 2015- I had an interaction with a "FRONT DESK TEAM LEADER" Jacquie Bray. The position on her business card was a surprise to me, she certainly had no people skills to be a team leader. I walked up with my mom to the counter confirming my mom's appointment. She looked at her and automatically assumed she needed a transalator, I assured her she knows how to respond and she understands and so did my mom. We recently moved and my address changed, my mom didnt remember the postal code so she said no the response has to be from your mom, she was loud and yelling. it was an eye care clinic and my mom couldnt see properly and thats why she was there so she couldnt read it out. However when she asked my mom other questions and my mom responded herself. Due to the skin colour, the way she spoke to us, the tone she used everyone was staring. She kept saying how i cant go anywhere because the doctor needs a transalator. I assured her again no she does not need a translator and I am leaving. I spoke to my mom over the phone after and she said her appointment went well with the doctor, everything was good. Ofcourse apart from her behaviour at the front desk. I dont think a person like that has leadership qualities, it was clear she was racist. She had no customer service skills what so ever. This was an absurd interaction, not only she was racist, stereotypical and assumed she was horrible at her job. Hope this helps.

I experienced an etraordinarily long wait time today. My appointment was scheduled for 1:15 p.m. and I was only seen by the doctor at 3:00 p.m. ! Others in the waiting room had been waiting for 2+ hours as well.
This is unacceptable!
Otherwise the customer service is at an acceptable level.
