On the day of the wedding, she was the first person we saw when we arrived at the venue. She always checked in to ensure we were on schedule and everything was running smoothly.
The banquet team was AMAZING! I felt like a queen and it wasn’t even my wedding! Our main contact on the day of was Mahmoud, he was phenomenal. Extremely attentive and took care of all my guests. We had antipasto platters and champagne waiting in the bridal suite. Such a great touch because we were starving!
The FOOD was amazing! Everything from the huge antipasto station to late night was flawless!!!!!
My guests are still raving about the service, food and venue!
I would highly recommend The Oakville Conference Centre for anyone who is looking for a wedding or upcoming event.

Lisa was the person who showed us around and she remained our contact right up until our big day. She was so responsive and, whenever she was out of the office, her out of office assistant would let me know. She never left me waiting for a response for long.
On our wedding day, the team at the hall made our day so special. It was windy outside so the white runner didn't work so well. Instead, Mahmood substituted a red carpet for us that was so beautiful! Mahmood and the team ran around ensuring that every moment of our special day was perfect.

The food was excellent, so kudos to the kitchen staff, they did a fabulous job. Everyone was extremely complimentary about the food and wine.
The wait staff were first class, very considerate and friendly. Again, I had excellent feed back about the staff from other guests too. They did a wonderful job. Great people, with great personalities, they seem to really enjoy their job.
Eduardo the manager (I hope I have his name right) was fantastic. He really stepped up when the DJ had gone AWOL and found the music for our introductions and was able to work the equipment – he would have made a better DJ for the evening.
Kelly, what can I say about you. I hope you know how awesome you are. I hope that Edge realize what a great asset they have in you as an employee. Thank you so much for your help through the whole process of planning and at the actual event. You stepped up and did our introductions, after never having done anything like that before – nobody would have known, you sounded like a real pro. Thank you so much.
Your staff saved the day. The bar tender was fantastic, great personality. When the DJ wasn’t getting people on the dance floor I asked Eduardo and the Bar tender to help us out and come onto the dance floor, which they did and they got things going. Without them, the evening would not have been the success it was.

Come the day of I noticed Lisa going above and beyond the call of duty to further make my day as special as it was. Lasalle was the perfect venue with an incredible waterfront view.
I was the calmest bride a lot due to the fact that I felt comfortable that everything for our big day was taken care of. Our guest loved the venue and found the food outstanding.
The coordination staff was in particular very valuable to me. Lisa took many decisions out of my hands so that I was able to enjoy some of the preparation and not sweat all of the finer details. Like many of the other commenters here I completely agree the staff is top notch, always friendly and accommodating. If you want a well calibrated and organized team to help you put together a party or social gathering this is a great place to start! Would highly recommend!

Well it's finally all over and I want to thank you for all your help along the way.
Our luncheon went very well, we had many many compliments on the venue, decor, light, large windows and the food-- thank the chef he did a great job especially with our one vegetarian/gluten free individual she was very impressed. The choice of wine was prefect for the day as it was a hot one, light and crisp!
OCC did a great job! Big big thanks to Eduardo who was very very helpful and so charming-- he solved our mic problems as our tech person had purchased a new one that day and when we tested it out no issues and panicked when it didn't work for the start of the announcements! Grateful when in stepped Eduardo and saved the day. Staff on deck were friendly,polite and professional.
Except for the our slight hiccup all went very well. I have already put a bug in people's ears for next year.

Also, when we first visited the venue, Lisa told us that the walls were 99% soundproof and that we wouldn't be able to hear music playing from the other rooms. This was very misleading. The music from the reception room beside ours was so loud that we could barely hear our speeches. They should either coordinate the time of speeches with each reception room so that no music interferes or just don't tell clients that the wall is 99% soundproof, because it's obviously not.
The one star I gave on this review are for the servers, bartenders (Connor was awesome), kitchen staff, Cecilia (the supervisor), and Mahmood (the banquet manager I believe). The service we received from these individuals at our reception was amazing, and all the servers were efficient, helpful, and professional.
One word to describe everything-outstanding. The food was incredibly delicious and plentiful, the drinks were awesome and your staff totally amazing. Thank you for everything Zorka.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank the OCC staff for ALL their help on Sunday. Elaine was so helpful when we arrived to drop items off and Mamoud (sorry on the spelling) was great! The serving staff was wonderful, we had alot of little kids running around and I wanted to apologize for the inconvenience that would have caused.
It was a great day and it wouldn't have been possible without the staff at the OCC.
