I have been using Custom Maids' service for more than 16 years now. They provide very professional cleaning service. Dorothy is punctual, courteous and most reliable. Every time she comes I can just leave the house to her and go to work or go around town to do my things for the whole day, and come back to a spotless clean house at the end of day. Can’t ask more than that. Highly recommended.

Let me give you an example of that : They clean my house every two weeks, and they never charge my credit card until at least a week after each cleaning. When I called the Office to find out why this is, a customer service rep told me, "Oh, we never charge credit cards until the following week, so that our clients have an opportunity to let us know if they are unhappy about anything before we charge for the cleaning." She said this as if it should be obvious - as if "all companies work this way." In my years with Custom Maids, one thing I have never doubted is their integrity. These are decent people who you know you can trust to respond to any issue or concern. I visited a few review sites when I was looking for a cleaning service. I read so many great reviews about Custom Maids that I decided to book with them. I am so happy that I stumbled upon this cleaning service.

When I went to their website it looked amazing. I explored for a little bit and decided to schedule my first cleaning visit through the booking page on the site. The booking page was extremely easy to use and the pricing structure was very transparent and straight-forward. A short time after submitting my booking, I received an email confirmation for my appointment. All very, very professional!

On the cleaning day, the maid arrived at my home 20 minutes early, smartly dressed and exceptionally polite and respectful. I let her in and she quickly changed into her cleaning clothes. She began cleaning 10 minutes before the specified start-time and NEVER STOPPED CLEANING until 50 minutes after the specified stop-time. (I paid for a 4-hour cleaning and received a 5-hour cleaning!!!) Seeing how hard she had worked to bring my disorderly home up to her standard, I attempted to apologize for the overtime. She assured me that this was "perfectly normal " on a first visit and that the cleaning would work well into 4 hours going forward. She then (even at that late hour) asked me to look everything over to make sure I was pleased. I told her that wasn't necessary but she insisted . . . so I did. Everything was absolutely perfect! The cleaning was exceptional! She was just thrilled and was so sweet. I could see that she took such pride in her work.

This was definitely most organised and professional cleaning outfit I have ever encountered, and they provided me the best home cleaning I have ever received from any cleaning service that I have ever used. I will definitely be using Custom Maids in the future and I would highly recommend them if you are looking to get your home cleaned.

Their website says they are Toronto's "original maid service "established some 35 years ago, but that still wasn't enough for me. However, after reading all their 5-star reviews, decided that they at least deserved a chance. Now, 2 years later, all I can say is this : "I grew up with cleaning services my whole life (with two working parents) and none of them ever cleaned like CUSTOM MAIDS!" This is fantastic, old-fashioned cleaning, organized through state-of-the-art customer service. You can book your appointments online or just call and get immediate response from a one of their cheerful, upbeat Customer Service Reps. THESE GUYS ARE SO TIGHT THAT IT BRINGS A TEAR TO MY EYE. In an era when most corporations don't seem to care, this place sticks out like a sore thumb. If you live in Toronto, you would be simply foolish to hire anyone else.

I CANNOT BELEIVE IT! Maybe my search is finally over! I have found it just impossible to find a professional cleaning company that offers a 'cleaner' AND an 'organizer' in one service (like having a hotel maid who makes everything spotless and neat looking at the same time). But now I have discovered CUSTOM MAIDS, which, by all appearances, seems to have spent the last few decades collecting 'perfectionist cleaning ladies' who leave everything immaculate in their path. Small touches like folding the end of the toilet paper on the roll, smartly folding and displaying towels, setting up cologne/perfume bottles on the bathroom vanity, making up beds perfectly with hospital corners, organizing clutter to make look like it's there by design - it all just makes you feel like you're staying at the Hyatt Regency! This is the kind of TRAINED CLEANING STAFF I had always hoped was out there, and now, because of Custom Maids, my stress level has finally been lifted. Yes Virginia, you really can have the perfect looking home all the time (or at least once a week). Thank you Custom Maids.

I have always been apprehensive about using a professional cleaning company - but I just had to try Custom Maids after reading all the reviews about it. What a great decision that was!!! Originally, I called and booked just one visit - a sort of "trial visit" - and they sent me this cleaner named Venicia. She took one look at my embarrassingly-dirty abode, basically pushed me aside, and proceeded to show what a clean house should look like. I was totally blown away by her work. My place was a big job but somehow she did an AMAZING job. It was truly spotless, clean and I couldn't find one thing that she missed! Because of this, I called and booked every 2 weeks - so they established me with a regular cleaning lady, Elena, who has been cleaning my home ever since. Elena is every bit as amazing as Venicia. She has just taken over all of my housekeeping duties and I stay as quiet as a church mouse as she works her magic. I can't recommend these guys highly enough. I don't know where they find their people but they are awesome and the company is highly organized. Try them. I promise you, you'll be happy you did.

Here's a company that really cares about its customers. Only one time in the past year have I had and issue with my cleaning, and they worked with me to make things right and really listened to my concerns. The customer service here is absolutely outstanding (5 stars + a couple more) and their cleaning service is incredible too. My jaw dropped when I came home after my first cleaning. I never thought my place could look so brand new. Since then the service has never changed - always consistent and reliable. And, like I say, if you have any problems, just be communicative. These guys will jump all over it. Highly recommend Custom Maids.

Custom Maids is fantastic! They have great customer service; helping me find a maid in a pinch! What makes them standout for me is their attention to detail (washing baseboards, removing marks off the walls, etc). This made a huge difference and my apartment sparkled afterwards. I also loved the checklist they left behind with everything they accomplished and cleaning supplies I need to restock. So well organized! I would recommend them to anyone who needs a thorough cleaning and great customer service!

I'm a long-time customer (about ten years!) and have had nothing but excellent experiences with Custom Maids. My current cleaner, Janice, is outstanding: punctual, responsible, and thorough (we enjoy the occasional chat, too). Above all, I've been impressed by CM's scheduling service: they correspond clearly and efficiently, both by phone and email, and that means a lot to me because I travel frequently and often have to reschedule. Couldn't be happier.

4. They are flexible. For example, if no wash is needed that day, they would be happy to do something else in place (cleaning-related) which takes the same amount of time.
5. They are communicative and are proactive in their approach, i.e., they inform us of things that may cause a problem if left unattended such as leaky taps, plugged drains, etc.
6. They are not clock-watchers and do not leave work early.

I have been using Custom Maids since 2008 and have been consistently impressed with their service. Our cleaning lady Janice does a spectacular job without fail, and in a house with 2 small children she is often dealing with quite the mess! I have also been very happy with the professionalism of the office staff and their willingness to accommodate last minute requests when they arise.

I have been a client of Custom Maids for more than 5 years and have been very satisfied with their service. Over that period, several different women have worked at my house, all of them very able, all of them caring to make sure they do a great job and I have developed friendly relationships with many of them, especially my current one, Ruth. They are told not to move piles of papers or electronic cables so I have always been able to find my things after they finish and everything works!

One of the best features is Custom Maids’ customer service approach. I am always reminded of the next visit, currently by email and the cleaner is always on time. If for some reason, she can’t make it, a replacement is found in time. If the regular visit is not convenient for me, without a word they will immediately re-schedule it. The person on the phone is always friendly and courteous. I will continue using Custom Maids.
