They gave my family member and her husband a loan which was paid faithfully and on time for a year. THEN they came back and said they had 'miscalculated' and they owed another $1000. My family member said they were mistaken - in fact TREND owed THEM money for the trade in they never got credit for - $2000. Regardless, they did not have $1000 right that moment.
That same night they came in the middle of the night and took - STOLE- a vehicle that was being regularly paid for - THEFT!
Lawyers advised the couple they were in the right and could win if they went to court. They did not have the funds for lawyers and courts. So they had to walk away from the vehicle. Just as well - it had been certified and in fact had to have the transmission replaced. Oh did I mention the vehicle in question had been a repo from before?
Seems this is not an unusual practice with this company. One way or another they find chink in the contract and if there isn't one - they make it up. After all they are dealing with people who cannot afford to fight them. Easy money - just sell and resell the same vehicle repeatedly and charge exorbitant interest fees.

WISH I COULD GIVE NO STAR!! STAY AWAY!! HORRIBLE COMPANY WITH DISGUSTING PRACTICES!! YOU WILL PAY DOUBLE FOR THE CAR, SUPER HIGH INTERESTS AND GOD FORBID YOU MISS A PAYMENT YOU ARE CHARGED ASTRONOMICAL FEES!!! YOU MAKE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS AND THEY STILL REPORT YOU TO CREDIT AGENCIES. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! BEWARE!! YOU ARE WARNED!

I purchased a Ford Diesel F350 pickup truck from Trend Financial and it was a complete disaster. I had 50% down payment for the vehcile, and it still meant nothing. The sales person was so incompetant that the lease had to be signed a total of 5 different times because of the constant errors. This process took over an hour. Do not lease from Trend Financial, they will take your money and sell you a piece of garbage, gamble with your life, and make you spend hundreds of dollars in fuel costs to get anything done.

I have used TREND Financial on two occasions. In both situations I found my own vehicle and they were able to provide the car loan financing to make my car purchase a reality. TREND provides people with auto loans who are not able to get regular financing but are able to pay. They offer weekly and bi-weekly payment schedules to make it easier to make your payments. TREND provide me with an auto loan and helped me to start to rebuild my credit. I would use them again and recommend that you use them too!!!!
