I just felt great about our newly installed doors and windows. All I can I say is that they did an amazing job! From the sales guy to measurement specialist and the manager until the last step the installation. With the affordable price, I will definitely spread good words about this company.

After some recent renovations in our home that left me dreading the idea of having to deal with a construction company again, I wasn’t expecting the best experience. However, GoldstarWindow did a great job of installing our door REALLY FAST. One of the people who came to do the job lived in my NE PDX neighborhood. He was familiar with the home style and typical quirks that may occur in old homes. We’ll call them again for a new back door in the future.

GoldStar replaced 20 windows in our home. They arrived on time and were very professional during their entire time in our house. As it happened, there was an 8 inch snow storm in the midst of this installation. There was no delay in their work schedule and they continued to work outside on high ladders installing second story windows! Very professional with meticulous attention to detail. I may advice them to anyone!

I went on web to find a good company for new windows. I chose two companies to come out and give me an estimate and ended up choosing GoldStar Window because I really liked their windows' energy efficiency and style. I found the salesman to be very educated on all types of windows and on other companies' windows. He was honest and friendly but not too pushy and it was a good experience working with the company. The guys who came to install the windows were nice and took the time to answer my questions about the process and the windows themselves. They also cleaned up after themselves and washed every single window that they installed. The windows have already saved me a significant amount in heating bills. They also save me money in the summer time too.

They were absolutely wonderful. I think the window is about 10 feet, but I am not sure. I actually chose them because of reviews I had read through the web. The representative was professional and knowledgeable. There was no pressure on me to place an order. Their pricing was competitive because I had gotten a couple of other estimates. The rep that came to measure the window kept to the appointment time as did the installers. They worked very hard to complete the work in one day as it was scheduled. I am very pleased with the window both inside and outside the house. They did a great job for me. Thank you GoldStar Window!

I had a very large (5' x 6') double pane window replaced in my house by GoldStar.
Everyone was polite and professional, from the person on the phone to the guys that measured and performed the installation. Representative came to measure the day after I called. The window was installed shortly after that. The crew was respectful of my time and space. They arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves and the new window looks great.

I obtained several estimates from various window manufacturer's. Visited GoldStar Window Showroom to see sample windows. I was impressed and made arrangements for an estimate. Made decision to go with GoldStar because of quality. I also was provided a reference list; contacted previous window customers and received favorable comments.
All employees were very professional, they did an excellent job installing the windows, completely cleaned up and removed old windows. Very satisfied with GoldStar from start to finish. Intend to use this company for future door projects.

GoldStar Window responded to our initial phone call, representative came out to give us an estimate on the next day, and performed the actual work in just 2 weeks. They were not pushy, went over the different choices, their pros and cons, and crew was extremely neat...could not even tell they had been there after they left. I would recommend GoldStar to someone looking for windows and doors.

We replaced every window in my house with GoldStar (16 total windows, 11 units as some are double windows in a single opening) including 2 picture windows above the front entrance in a 2 story foyer. Also both exterior doors, a slider to the back deck and the front entrance door. The windows were all with Low E glass and Argon gas filled, along with double strength glass and super spacers. Mike was at the house twice to measure before ordering the windows... Once for the estimate and again before ordering the windows. The quality of the windows and doors is what I would call upper end, and the price was more than reasonable.

It was terrific and absolutely beautiful job done by GoldStar Window and Door company. They did all the details and the quality of work was wonderful. They were efficient and very professional. There are not enough nice things to say about them. Their price was very reasonable. It was half of what another company was charging. In the spring we are going to have them do our upstairs windows and we are going to talk to them about a garage door.

Mike came out to give an estimate on removing all the windows in the house. He was very knowledgeable about choices of products. The company ordered the correct sizes. Mike has great communication skills both with the installers and the customer. Upon completion he did a thorough walk-through to make sure all locks and the whole staff worked correctly and answered all questions we had. I would highly recommend GoldStar Window company.

Replaced all 19 windows in the house with GoldStar windows. My overall experience was perfect!! There is a huge selection of different styles and colors. They do complicated custom shapes that I also needed for my one big window. Installers preformed an amazing job. They were very professional and friendly. Everything was done when they said it would be done, it cost what they said it would cost. I would use them again and refer them to my friends.

I cannot say enough good things about GoldStar company. They did all the windows! They only work on one project at a time and don't leave it till it's done. They did a fantastic job, cleaned up after themselves every day, and had the whole thing done in less than 3 days. Ilia is a delight to work with, personable, respectful, and honest. He's always willing to take the time to explain why he's doing something a certain way or recommending something, and never talks down to you. When we have the money to replace all our doors, we're not going to bother talking to anyone else. GoldStar prices are competitive and their work is high quality.
It's not an exaggeration to say that to work with him have been the most pleasant experiences I've ever had with hiring someone to do major (or even minor) work on our house.

I interacted with Mike over the cost estimate and work period. He was pleasant and very accommodating during our discussion of the works that needed to be done. He patiently answered all of our questions during this time and provided us with all the information requested. Mike personally described the windows replacement and supervised the whole job. Once scheduled, all the works were done in prompt and high quality manners. The whole team was very accomodating when doing the final walk through and made sure that all our requests were completed to our satisfaction. Overall, we are very satisfied with the works and will have no hesitation hiring them back in the future.

There were several workers from GoldStar Window and all were very polite and professional. At one point they had to be inside my house to install the windows and I felt perfectly comfortable with them being inside. They even were able to corral my two dogs when they escaped the room they were in and get them secured in another room so they did not take advantage of the open door to explore the neighborhood. Overall I am extremely pleased with the work done on my home and would and have recommend this company. Mike is very easy to work with, he is a perfectionist, which I think is a perfect combination in a representative. Several neighbors commented on the improvement in my home from the day the windows were installed, some neighbors who I had not personally known. It has made an enormous improvement in both the outside of my home and the new windows have much improved the temperature and comfort of the family room and it is like having a brand new room!

We compared our other offers and decided to go with GoldStar Window based mainly on the reviews. The estimate was good and for reason. We wanted to go for quality, especially with such an important and sizable job ahead of us. We met with Mike and did another walk through, identified out the colors, trim, windows, doors, etc. We signed on and the deal was done. GoldStar Window did the best for us.

Everything went smoothly from the quoting to the cleanup. My house is over 100yrs. old and had an oversized door that no other contractor that came out had any solution for. Mike from GoldStar Window showed us what they could offer and it was exactly what we wanted and he came out twice just to make sure we were happy with it. Mike then came out to measure everything and ordered the door & windows. GoldStar came in, we scheduled the install date and the crew showed up right on time at 8am and went to work. The door & windows look great and we couldn't be happier. We will use GoldStar Window for our next project definitely!

Once we signed the contract, there was an official measurement taken by Jan from GoldStar Window, and then it took about two weeks for the windows to be delivered from the factory. At just over two weeks, we were contacted to see if we could accommodate a short-notice installation date, and a day or so later, our windows were installed (all in one day, as is fairly standard).
There were some areas where they went beyond standard service - for example, we had a carpenter ant eaten sill for a garage window that was not being replaced. We asked whether they would be willing to replace it while they were out here anyway, and they ended up doing so for no cost.
The windows look absolutely beautiful, and both the basement and attic are much less drafty (the old windows had storms, but they were really leaky). We upgraded screens, which was a great choice for our house. Overall, just a quality window and installation for a good price from GoldStar Window.

great work and great customer service

After inquiring about an estimate from GoldStar Window, I was contacted soon after by Nick, the company’s representative. We set up an appointment and Nick came to the house at the agreed upon time, and looked at the work I wanted to get done. Nick gave me a detailed overview of the exterior doors they install, and showed me examples of the different materials I could pick from, (fiberglass, steel, wood), as well as all the features and options.
I soon setup an appointment for measures with installer to come out to the house and take his own measurements for the front door and to look in the attic.
Nick made a second visit to finalize the deposit for the door installation and pick out the exact style we were looking for. He explained the 1-3 week lead time required for the door to arrive from the factory, and told me to contact them with any questions along the way. A week or so later, we ended up with the project finished.

After contacting GoldStar Window about an estimate to replace all the windows in my 100 years old house, I met with Nick who was company’s representative. Nick looked at the current windows and asked what type of replacements I was looking for. He showed me the different types of replacement windows that GoldStar uses and developed installation cost estimates for each type of window on the same day. Nick answered all my questions and there was not any high pressure sales pitch. Once I chose GoldStar, Nick came over to finalize the paperwork and took final measurements with installer Jan. Installation took for two days as there are always complications that come up in a building that's over 100 years old. Jan and his crew were great and kept me informed every day. Their work was very detailed and thorough. They also took care of disposing of the old windows and cleaned up every day.
Jan and I did a final walk through to make sure everything was completed and to my satisfaction. It was a very professional operation from start to finish. The price was fair and the quality of the work was excellent. I would highly recommend GoldStar Window for future work.

GoldStar Window installed 12 new replacement windows in my home. Nick was very flexible to my schedule when I was looking for the estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and confident in both the product he recommended and explaining the various alternatives that were available. I went with his recommendation and am very pleased. The job was right on with the estimate. Their installation crew were in and out within a day and left no trace that they had been there - except for the fantastic new windows in my home. A great experience.

GoldStar’s excellent crew installed 5 Double Hung windows with Low E Glass and Argon Gas in Triple Pane with half screens. All five windows received white aluminum wrapping on the exterior of the house to cover the exposed wood and match our existing white aluminum siding. In addition, all of our gutters were cleaned and several spots that were leaking were sealed with caulk. Company’s manager Ilia was friendly, helpful and patient with our questions and our decision making around how many windows we could afford to purchase. The contract was drawn up on the spot, which we appreciated, and we signed on that day. The windows arrived as promised within about 3-4 weeks and Ilia called to set up a time to install, which occurred two days after the call. Installers were prompt, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. We are very happy to hire GoldStar Window.

GoldStar was an excellent company to work with. Roman, the manager, came out to look at the job and gave an estimate. He was very professional, down to earth, and efficient. No long or pressure sales job. They used good quality windows. They came twice, first for four windows and then for another three because we were so happy with the first four. Sergio, installer, came with two of his partners and all were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They removed all of the old windows and storms and took care in insulating, installing, and caulking in the new windows. They performed a thorough cleanup that included washing the new windows and cleaning up floors, etc. The works was done when promised and scheduling was very efficient.I recommend this company very highly and will use them again for any future window needs.

GoldStar team of window-replacement specialists arrived promptly at 9am on the scheduled day and the team had the new windows and sliders in and on their way by 2:30. I was thoroughly pleased with how easy the whole process was. The team that showed up was extremely respectful of our home and flooring. The windows are absolutely perfect and make me proud to have decided to go forward with this project. There were no hidden costs, no funny games.
