I had my son's 6th birthday at Ezone as we had been there for others' birthdays.

We had approx. 15, 6 year old boys at the birthday party. As you can imagine, they were very excited and rowdy. Boys will be boys! That is why we chose to have the birthday at this facility THINKING it is a kids friendly place.

The boys had an absolute great time. However, in between the pizza time and laser tag time (which was delayed) the boys got bored in the party room and they were running up and down the hallways. The manager there, Scott, in front of all the parents scolded me that the kids were interrupting other groups game time, and that the boys had to wait in the party room until it was their turn. I explained that they are bored of waiting and how can i possibly hold 15, 6 year old boys in that room? He scolded that THAT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
How dare he, in front of all those parents talk to me in that way!!!??? How dare he! Very unprofessional, as if there is something that is not right he could have spoken to me in private, which i would have greatly appreciated.
Never again will i have a birthday party here! I spent $500 on this party which was not an issue, but having been scolded like a little child by Scott was very disappointing.
When i explained to my husband what had happened, i literally had to hold him back from going to talk to Scott ( and i do not mean talk!)

There were no apologizes, no thank yous, and no appreciation at all.

Very upsetting and EMBARRASSING!

Most likely this review will be deleted, which in that case i will bring this up to the owner of this venue.

Very dissatisfied!

My son and his friends had an amazing time at his birthday party playing laser tag! The venue has lots of fun activities for kids and adults alike. Staff is courteous, helpful and attentive. We've had 2 parties here so far and would definitely go back. Thanks E-Zone!

The laser tag room was spacious and the kids had a lot of fun - the 30 mins of laser tag goes by very quickly and there are other locations where you get a lot more time for a less money than ezone (ie laser quest). Regarding the party room: it was dingy, small and left a lot to be desired. It would be good to have someone greet you at the door, "a party host" and make sure the party is running smoothly. It was an okay experience, but I wouldn't recommend it or return for another child's party.

We held our 8 yr old's birthday party at Ezone, as a result of a party that he attended there. Our contact for planning the party was excellent, courteous, helpful, and organized.

The day itself went well, but I have two suggestions:

1) I strongly suggest that the host of each party group introduce himself to the group of kids, and greet the birthday child. In any context, a good host does this. At our son's party, the host just walked over, escorted the kids to an area, and started explaining the game. He, in fact, had the wrong group of kids, despite our comment that we hadn't booked the area where he brought the kids. I had to intervene a second time to ask him if he was sure he had the correct group of kids. Had he begun with, "Hi, my name is ___, and which one of you is birthday child _____?", the problem would have been recognized and fixed immediately.

2) The tables in the party room are a great length and width for parties; however, having two of them made for a very narrow and consequently crowded space. Had there been one table in the middle of the room, everyone would have been able to move around a lot easier, resulting in less items being knocked over. This was especially relevant since we had a winter party which means loads of coats everywhere. In addition, if one child seated at the deep end of the table needed to leave the room, all of the children had to get up to allow him to leave.

Thank you.

We had a private party there for 21 kids. The kids played laser tag, whirly ball, cosmic arcades and game simulators. The activities were amazing and the kids had tons of fun. Unfortunately, the service was poor. The party coordinators were not interactive or good at ensuring the kids are shuffled around, so each kid gets a chance to try something or is not hogging the ball or a specific game. There was no personalized service. No checking to ensure we didn't need anything else like water, drinks, plates, etc. No assistance in the party room. The head cook is a hot head and unprofessional. Asked to heat cheese on nachos in advance and called in morning to add another pizza. Pizza wasn't ordered and cheese wasn't melted. Then the front desk guy is upset with me cause he didn't place the extra pizza order and the kitchen is pissed off cause they have to make another pizza to be ready at food time in 20 minutes! Then the cook comes storming in the party room & has the audacity to insult my sister and I, say my request was unreasonable (even though I asked in advance about melting the cheese and adding an additional pizza! Are u kidding me!). The front staff screwed up and u insult the customer! He did this in the party room in front of the kids & wouldn't stop being argumentative and rude even after i said to him multiple times that now is not the right time or i would be happy to step outside the room to discuss away from the kids. Then he said i have nothing more to say to u or her, i don't want to deal with any of you. Wow!!!!! The other guy that works front desk was also unfriendly and rude. Furthermore, when I ordered the food rather than promoting the business he told me don't order things cause it was a waste of money, or don't do certain activities even though they are offered for no reason at all. If I'm willing to spend the money why discourage me from ordering food and selecting the activities I want? The Manager was busy hanging with friends instead of tending to the guests. Such a great activity zone. Cost over $800 which I didn't mind spending. Too bad the service was poor!
