Alan Glushko of AllMax Home Inspection provided me with excellent, speedy and extremely thorough service at a very reasonable price. Even though my home had been renovated three years previously to the highest standards, as a homeowner downsizing and selling my property, I wanted to ensure there would be no problems that I could have detected for a prospective buyer knowing that a home inspection is intended to minimize though not eliminate risk in buying a home. I was expecting to receive a perfect bill of health as I knew there were no major problems in the house. Though the inspection was intended to identify any major problems, in Alan's 68 page report that was extremely thorough and detailed, minor problems were identified. Alan listed all the changes that should be made as well as several other recommended or suggested changes that might be considered. Though most were very small, if you want to pass on your home in excellent condition to a new buyer, I was pleased to have them all identified. Corrections permitted the new buyer to purchase the house in confidence. I immediately recommended Alan to my daughter-in-law who is a real estate agent for a prestigious real estate service. In addition to excellent service and a thorough report, Alan is very pleasant to deal with, never rushed. He spent time explaining what should be done and why it should be done. It is a delight to work with such a professional.

My wife and I purchased our first resale house just shy of its first year of being built. After moving in, we had approximately 5 weeks to submit defects to Tarion so they could be fixed while the house was still under warranty. Aside from noticing some nail pops, I was not aware of any other defects. We were advised to engage a home inspector to “walk through” the house looking for areas that could be fixed. We were referred to Alan Glushko, a home inspector with Allmax Home Inspection and Property Services. Alan not only walked through the house, but he went on and under it as well. Not only did he identify numerous nail pops (compared to the 6 that I found), but he also noticed an electrical problem, structural wall damage and leakage areas that could have caused severe future damage had it gone unnoticed. We phoned AllMax on Saturday and they came on Monday. They where available for our schedule. Alan made great timing the morning of. He was through on giving us the Home Inspection Assessment. He spoke what he thought without holding back. That we liked about him. We wanted a real opinion at what we where looking at to make the house we wanted to buy, as to the cost it would be.
