My husband Jon and I recently got married last May, and it was our second time working alongside Trevor and Larissa. They also took our engagement session- and what breath taking pictures from both occasions.

Trevor and Larissa, are fun and such an easy going couple. They made taking the pictures apart of our memory, and every moment was fun and oh so very special. It was great having the opportunity to get to work with such an amazing duo. With a slight movement or a hand signal, they were in sync with what the other was doing- They are a professional team to work with and are truly amazing at what they are born to do.

Being a wedding coordinator in Southern California has given me the opportunity to work with many wonderful photographers. Larissa and Trevor are no exception to that. I was helping my sister-in-law plan her wedding back in Toronto, and searched high and low for a photographer for them who suited their style, but also my standards. When we came across the work of Larissa and Trevor, upon first impression, there was no question, we had to go with them. Not only does their work speak for itself, (with their modern perspective, amazing use of natural light, and ability to capture and encompass those "tender moments"), but they have an uncanny ability to be in multiple places simultaneously, working so incredibly fluidly and seamlessly together as a team. With hand signals or eye contact, they knew exactly what the other was doing, what lenses the other was shooting with, what angle -they were awesome. And on top of that they're really cool, down to earth people -totally friendly and professional. They are accommodating, easy to work with, and truly amazing at what they do. They are the epitome of true talent.

My husband and I shopped around forever trying to decide on photographers. We met with Trevor and Larissa to see what they had to offer, and were very impressed. As soon as I took one look at the thank you cards, I was sold. My husband was sold on their price range and flexibility. On the day of the wedding, they showed up on time, were almost invisible and yet managed to capture the best parts of the day. They were so great. I would highly recoend them to anyone who wants modern photography and great value.

We chose Ambient Studios after meeting with many photographers about our November 1, 2008 wedding day. Larissa and Trevor are truly a great team and were able to put me at ease about my wedding pictures - something I was very stressed about!
On our wedding day, they were extremely professional and I know that they had the entire day covered without missing a beat. The prints and enlargements are strikingly beautiful and something we will cherish forever. We have an album sitting on our coffee table and everyone who comes to visit opens the album and raves about how fantastic the pictures are! Each member of our wedding party, as well as our parents and grandparents, all have a photograph from Ambient Studios on display in their home that they are so pleased with!

Hello there!

Your wedding day is one of the most beautiful days in your life - the pictures that capture those moments will bring you back to that day for the rest of your life. You can imagine then how we felt when we received our photos and found that we had no pictures of me (the bride) in my dress, only 2 shots of my husband and I, and no pictures of extended family (grandparents, aunts & uncles). I was heart broken and was not able to look at our pictures for another 3 months.

Later on that year, a high school friend and I reconnected, and I was excited to find out that she (Larissa), had continued her passion of photography - her and her partner were starting up their own photography company and wanted to use me for a "Trash the Dress" photoshoot! What a great opportunity to get dressed up again, me in my dress, my husband in a suit, and take those pictures that we never had.

Ambient Studios - Larissa and Trevor - were amazing to work with. They truly REcaptured our love and feelings of our wedding day we had months before. They were directive when we asked, they were creative and spontaneous. The pictures are truly breath taking (and even better than the wedding day pictures we do have!).
