Ayla has a rental outfit at the south end of Pitt Lake. Their website says rentals are available until 4pm. I arrived at 3:32pm after a long drive from Vancouver and was told that rentals had closed for the day, despite the fact that numerous canoes were available. After I stated that I wanted to take my son on his first boat ride just around the boat launch and would be back in half an hour, I was told by the RUDE attendant, "No, you people are the worst kind and are often the latest. I'm not willing to take that chance." I emailed and phoned to complain but neither were returned. VERY POOR service and client relations.
