I purchased a wilson altinator for my dodge charger in sept of 2008 and it went bad on oct 2 of 2010, it has a two year warranty so i called the edmonton west end store and he said ya bring it in i'll exchange it for you.I drove there about 10k before they closed on a Saterday and he had a new one out,I was spinning the pully while I waited and noticed it was warped on the new one, i mentioned it to him and he said he would have to get a new one as this was his last, then he said I can't put it thru warrantiy any more, but if you want one I can give you a good rate of $183.00, I told him i paid 130.00 on account when I bought it two years ago and he checked and said oh ya,nothing else was said except he would talk to his manager on monday.so why did he say he would cover warannty on it ,or try and charge me 50 bucks more than i paid, was it because I noticed I was getting a inferior part and spoke up about it, and should have just excepted it!!! I do all my own work, but don't do it for fun so I can do it again.I find this customer service VERY POOR and unaceptable.This is very sad as I have always got good parts and service but this has really soured me on ever going back.
Since writing this reveiw I have been contacted by the manager of the west end store and he has backed up the warranty in a curtious maner and has replaced my defective altanator.
Cudos/ to bumper to bumper for backing up their decison.
