    Caplan's Appliances

    I bought a cooktop, range hood fan, dishwasher, oven, microwave, washer and dryer...in my world, a lot of appliances at once. So far I've had 2 deliveries and 1 service call...and I have 1 more deliveries and 2 more services calls scheduled. So, if I'm lucky it will TAKE SIX (6!) calls to hopefully get functioning appliances, albeit with a fridge that's scratched and dented. And the customer service response to that - don't worry, it'll still work fine. Thanks. Far from exceptional customer service. And the customer service response to the SIX VISITS - we understand your frustration. Wow, thanks. Far from exceptional service.

    Caplan's Appliances

    We were greeted at the door and asked if we wanted to look around or if we needed a salesperson. The sales person, Nancy Bedard, was excellent. She was helpful, no pressure and answered our questions with good information so that soon we were on our way, having found the appliance that was just right. The young person who had greeted us offered us coffee and chocolate chip cookies. Delivery was professional and the guys had a pride in their work.
    What a refreshingly different experience we had at Caplan's compared to other stores we'd been to that morning, where salespeople were either not available or too keen on making a sale.

    GREAT Service!

    Our 7 year old Whirlpool microwave nuked itself and I went looking for a new one. My last stop was Caplan's and I had the pleasure and good fortune to speak to Sam. He offered me a couple of options and then suggested a "returned" unit. Given the price and the minor 'bump' we got a great deal.

    Great Experience

    Called Caplan's, immediately spoke with Thomas who answered all my questions, and priced me a dishwasher. I arranged for pickup at the warehouse which to my pleasant surprise went off without a hitch. Thomas than followed up to make sure that the pick up went well. Can't ask for anything more.

    Friendly and honest no pressure staff

    Went by Caplan's to purchase a new washer and dryer. The staff were completely non-pressure, left us alone when we asked to be, but were quick to help when we had questions. Even recommended leaving and seeing what was available at other retailers (e.g. Home Depot, Lowes, The Brick) and comparing, and coming back *if* we were comfortable. We went back after finding that Caplan's had the best prices and service.

    Delivery was swift and painless!

    Purchase with Joe Georgio

    We recently purchased a new washer and dryer set from Caplan's on Weston Road from Joe Georgio. An excellent sales representative who took the time to listen to our interests and needs. Product selection, delivery datee, delivery and product set up (including removal of the old equipment to the garage was simply seamless and a demonstration of excellent customer service.

    Extremely Good Service and Great...

    We have heard of Caplans before, so we went there for our new kitchen appliances. We were very appreciative of the product knowledge provided by Vince and the patience he displayed in answering all our questions.
    Since we had checked appliances at other companies, we knew Caplans' prices were very competitive and we made our selection with no pressure to quickly buy. Vince was very attentive to our needs and followed up in response to our numerous correspondences to finalize purchase and to ensure timely delivery.
    Delivery was on time as earlier scheduled and movers checked over appliances first for any damage. Installation was quick and old appliances were removed for us.
    Vince and the company's delivery team were friendly, professional and very helpful in providing suggestions. We would not hesitate to recommend Caplans for anyone interested in buying appliances.

    Bosch Washer/Dryer

    Following the purchase of a Bosch dishwasher earlier this year, we bought a Bosch washing machine and dryer earlier this month (Nov. 2013( from Caplan's.
    Products are excellent and delivery and installation services were very professional and on time.
    We recommend Caplan's as an excellent and reliable supplier of home appliances.

    Very Good Experience

    This is our second time shopping at Caplan's for appliances. Peter was very happy to show us the available fridges in our size, there were about 4 to choose from. Peter spent a good amount of time with us but also left us to discuss. No pressure. The pricing is fair.
    Very good delivery service got our new fridge to our house faster than expected. Very happy with our new fridge. Would recommend Caplans.

    A Great Experience!

    Caplan's has provided a great experience for acquiring new appliances. Nancy our sales rep gave great advice and the shopping experience from purchase through delivery and set up was smooth and professional. We are very pleased with our new Induction range, fridge and microwave. The followup was appreciated. First rate experience! Well done Caplan's.

    New Kitchen Appliances Five Star

    Purchased Wolf Ovens and Stove top as well as Sub Zero Refrige and the Company provided the most competitive price and follow up as to delivery date once my new kitchen was ready and also arranged for the installation of the appliances as well, quickly after delivery. All in All a very satisfactory dealing with this Company and particularly Joseph Giorgio their sales rep who handled this in a most satisfactory manner.

    Consistently the worst customer...

    Nancy at Caplan Appliances sold me an oven that isn't working. I've been without a stove for 1.5 weeks now and I have had to start making angry calls to get any response so that we can either get our $1100 back or get them to provide us something to cook with some we're not spending more money on restaurants. When I called customer service, Liz suggested that I should consider buying a 4 year extended warranty! They hadn't even fixed what we had originally paid them for!!! They have at least 2 identical models sitting in their inventory, but I have to take a day off work to wait for a repairman! DON'T SHOP HERE!!!

    Our Experience at Caplans

    We really liked the welcoming staff and the homemade food while we were browsing the appliances.
    The service was excellent- Elias never pushed us to buy and didn't force a particular brand on us. Elias was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. He helped us choose appropriate appliances for our new kitchen!

    New Washer & Dryer

    I found Caplans Googling the internet for appliance stores in my neighbourhood. me and my wife walked in and were greeted by a salesperson that showed us their appliance selection. He was very knowlegeble and friendly. We ordered our washer and dryer Friday night and they were delivered, installed and the old appliances removed from our property by (am Monday morning.

    Terrible Experience! Nightmare!

    My family and I have been going to Caplan's for literally decades and so I tried them again. This time the whole experience was a complete nightmare, and I will never go back. I have had countless things go wrong with my appliances, and even trying to set up a delivery was a nightmare. I have spent at least 3 hours on hold or on the phone with them in the past month to deal with just three appliances, and one of them is still not installed. They are smooth salespeople who are great until they get your commitment to buy, and then the service just drops off. Never again!
