No salesman jumped on me which is good. the cars were not that great though. You could tell they had been around the block. A godo eal is godo eal though> id' like more information on the free warranty. How long is the warranty? How much would it be for a three year powertain warranty? Burrel auto Stipulates all this information on their website. CC seems evasive. ALso you pay 100 dollars to get the car checked out? Thats ridiculous, the car is checked out by one of their own guys, who then says the car is fine.295 dollars for a document fee? Some places have no document fee. The only document is the Regi and that costs maximum 28 dollars from ICBC.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!
first off we are extremely disappointed in the lack of reliable and professional service. Yeah they wanted to help us out and get us in a new-used car and off to the races.
But....
they had the car sent to an inferior mechanic, to have a once over. we know that to be true now, because they fixed the front brakes and nothing else. we were told when the car returned
that the fronts are 100% don't worry about the back brakes, you don't really use those. we were pretty much rushed off the lot for obviously ruffling some feathers by all the questions.
they told us to go get the air care done ourselves and they would cover it. they didn't go out of there way at all to do there jobs. we were straight up told they don't care if we take the car.
we were in need, so even though there were so many red flags we went for it. well you can tell by this message we brought the car back for a full money back refund. after we had left the lot
with the supposedly professionally inspected car, we quickly found there was something wrong. in the middle of highway 99 headed north the car started to shutter. anything over 70kmh, the
car would vibrate. a HUGE cause for the concern of our safety. we made it to town and brought it to a mechanic. upon our own mechanics inspection, he confirmed that the rear tires were both in
need of some urgent wheel bearing work. so much that we were told to grandpa it back to vancouver. the weather stripping on the roof was missing, causing water to leak and pool in the trunk.
the front headlight was cracked and collecting condensation on the inside, blocking the light. basically this place is a haven for deal finders, to blind to look into the fact that the cars are
lemons being sold to the next sucker not willing or able to ask the right questions or inspect the vehicles properly. when we brought the car back, planning to look into another car on the lot, we
were met with straight up blunt rudeness. oooo...thats an easy $100 fix, oooo.... we live in vancouver your gonna get water, oooo... you weren't ready to buy a car here. NO!! we weren't prepared
to be swindled and sweet talked into an unsafe vehicle. how can somebody knowingly send people off in vehicles that are a danger to be on the road, especially at highway speeds. Again i say thank god
we got our money back and nothing bad happened while the car was in our possession. UNSAFE and UNPROFESSIONAL, key words when dealing with CC CARSALES
if it sounds to good to be true, it is. not usually, it is!!!!! We know that now. If you value your families safety, they don't. so don't risk it and don't bring your business there.
im still surprised by them sending us off in a sketchy car. thanks for wasting our time..............

My husband and I have had no luck buying a used car. We needed a car ASAP because the car we had a wheel bearing issue.
I found the car I wanted online, and let the sales guy know that I would like to test drive it. (2002 kia rio)They explained this "100 down" to get to test drive, we agreed. They sent it to the "mechanic" to get it the "safety" test. It came back that the front brakes needed to be replaced. I was happy this was acknowledged and being taken care of . But they failed to tell us that they only did the front brakes and the back were at 25% left. They told us that it wasn't that important. Then told us it couldn't pass aircare cause the check engine light was on. Told us to take it home drive it for acouple days for the computer to recalibrate it self.
Being very naive and needed a car, we agreed.
We left the dealership and took it up to Squamish to have our brother in law who's a mechanic look at it. Long story short....the back wheel bearing was shot, under the spare tire in the trunk was cover with water, the head lights were cracked, also other noise issues.
We took it back, still hoping to find another car on thier lot, but the owner reaction to us bring it back blew my mind.
He was rude, immature, and very unprofessional. I was shocked
He said "woo a wheel bearing that's a hundred dollar fix! So what?! And whoo water, we live in Vancouver, give me back the keys!! I didn't want to see it to you anyways! Get your stuff out of it!"
I was almost in tears.
He Didn't care to hear about why we brought it back.
It had safety issues and he didn't care.
He'll sell that car now to someone else, without fixing the issue. It's sad.
Be very cautious, ask the right questions, don't be bullied.

I showed up to the lot to look at a car advertised on Craigslist. The car itself was a wreck - cigarette butts in the ashtray, filthy seats and headliner, missing interior panels, completely bald tires and best of all, a missing supercharger belt.

The only two salesman there were loudly eating disgusting-smelling takeout and ignoring the customers. I actually wasn't sure if they were employees at first, because they both looked like homeless people three days after someone had shaved them and dressed them in cheap clothes.

I asked to test drive the car and they said their policy was "no test drives without an accepted offer." So I have to make them an offer on a 15 year old luxury car without driving or starting it. I offered 2/3rds of the asking price based on the condition of the car, and was promptly told to "Get the F--- out of here." I started to explain the reason for my offer, but was interrupted and told to "Seriously, get the F--- out of here and don't come back."

While I applaud the owners for giving drug-addicted hobos the chance to work at their dealership, I can't honestly recommend going here unless you don't need a car but want some bizarre entertainment.

After coming back home, I checked them out online - their website is concerned less with advertising cars and more with promoting a misspelt rant about the judicial system written at a grade five level.

Check out their website before visiting them - the owner advertises having spent 30 days in jail, presumably for acting like a crazy person in court.

I went there the other day to check out some cars - I wasn't going to buy anything that day, just wanted to find out what kind of car they had, prices, policies etc.
When I went in I wasn't approached, I was able to walk around freely, take notes on the cars, take a few pics. I was there for around half an hour and no one bothered me. I'm not sure if this is good or bad - I would normally expect to be at least greeted, but I would far rather not be hassled. To be honest I was more than happy to be left to myself and to look around in my own time.
I had read through these reviews so I had questions that I knew to ask. After I looked around I went into the office and spoke to one of the guys. I can't remember his name though. He was completely pleasant and totally upfront with everything I asked. In short:
You pay $100 for the car to be inspected if you're interested. If you buy the car it gets deducted from the total. If you don't you get your money back.
You can return the car in 2 days. Its not 48 hours, its 2 days including the day you buy it on. So your max time with the car is you buy it at 10am and take back at 6pm the following day.
You can return the car for any reason.
They buy the cars from large dealers and don't have all the history for each car.
I think thats about it. I haven't bought a car yet - so the experience is far from over. The real test is the actual buying! But most of the reviews on this site seem to talk about the sales experience and I wanted to add that my experience this far has been hassle free and seemingly honest.

Once again you guys write some pretty good reviews on yourselves. Kudos

  • By: BROADWAYEAST

All the positive reviews here are written in the same style - poor spelling, weak grasp of punctuation and halting, abrupt syntax which is characteristic of a developmentally disabled 11 year old or a junkie with a grade 8 education. Having met the staff at this place I can safely assume that they are responsible for all these reviews.

They sold my family a cheap car and told us it had passed their saftey test,(dont believe them its a scam) the car they sold us was a death trap and could of killed my partner and i and our 1 year old daughter, when we bought the car they told us it passed the saftey test , i didnt trust them , we got a second opinion, cc motors failed to tell us the car was in a serious crash, it was leaking oil, transmission fluid ,brake pads were gone ,the list is endless My mechanic told me that we could of been killed in that car especially as we were planning a family trip to whistler in it for xmas, just aswel i got the second opinion! It saved our lives and i will be reporting them !

    Thanks for posting

    Thanks for posting this.

I was looking forward to buying a cheap run-around here but so many bad reviews that at least now I know why the cars are so cheap.

If the staff are rude (as some say) when people are simply asking questions about cars, what will they be like if I decide to return a car before the 2 day return period!!!!

I'm staying WELL away from these guys...shouldn't take much effort just to be friendly to customers!

After calling and speaking to Chris about a vehicle seen on Craigslist, I headed down the CC Motor Car Sales. The car was not as advertised on Craigslist and tho I was disappointed at first, I found that they had an abundance of reasonably prices used vehicles.

I left completely satisfied with my purchase and happy to report that after the rather unfriendly initial contact, everyone at CC Motor Car Sales turned out to be professional, informative and actually very nice!

I was going to ask a friend to drive me from Abbotsford to this place but after your review (and all the others), I am SOOOO glad I didn't!!! lol

You saved me a whole lot of time and trouble. Thanks.

p.s. I too, suspect that the only good reviews here are from the staff themselves ;-)

HAPPY COSTOMER September 24, 2011

I just bought a suv from these guys and I was completely impressed right from the get go! Even though the lot was busy, the salesman took the time to greet us and point us in the direction we wanted to go. (Suv's) We looked around, took our time and when we were ready to talk orice, they were there ready to settle on a deal. We signed the papers and ICBC was there to take the insurance... The place is a one stop shop that I would recommend to anyone! I would make this place my first go next time I'm in the market for another ride. Thanks guys, I'm super happy with the purchase! :)

cheap and busy for a reason

people want deals, so they unfortunately go for the cheapest route. well you get what you pay for. the car we checked out seemed nice, till we drove it. the shit was a lemon, then when we let them know what was the deal. we were shown the door. the only good thing about that place is the money back clause. that way if you get suckered, you still have an out. as for your time wasted in trust, that shits gone.

I phoned today to get info address and stuff
he said his name is Chris. My first impression was that he was short with me and did not sound too happy or friendly.
but I’m still going to check them out tomorrow.
I don’t work for them and have never heard of them till I was looking at cars on Craigslist
I’m coming from Langley so I hope it’s worth it. I will do a follow-up on here in the next day or so.
Somehow I think some of the comments are from staff but reading some of them if they offer a 2 day return why did the unhappy customers not just return it.

To the staff….. I work in customer service why do you not try to go that extra distance and reply to the unhappy customer and maybe say something like “ sorry you did not find your experience vary good please give us a call back and maybe we can help.” Or something like that. Word of mouth advertising is a lot cheaper and keeps going for years.
Just saying

PS as i have not yet gone to see them and this site will not let me post until i rate this i only did 1/2 star

YUP... STILL RUDE August 16, 2011

Unfortunately rather rude and abrupt salesman, Chris. I called about a truck, I pretty much already wanted to buy. All he had to do was be nice to me and invite me down to see it and. Instead I got curt one word answers to my questions. Guess I'll go spend my money somewhere else.

All these "positive" reviews are just the owners at CC Motors trying to save face. Went there 3 days ago and frankly was not impressed. Most cars there are on the fritz. Stick to individual auto sellers or reputable dealers.

i approached CCmotors Vancouver after being put onto the used car yard by a friend who'd purchased a vehicle there and was pleasantly suprised by the service we received, i must admit after having a "used car dealing stepfather" years i had my doubts as well as concerns from buying from a yard..as i presume some of you may also have/had!! the guys here were extremely helpfull, not pushy and as honest and fair as i imagine was possible selling a used car, there was ample choices of vehicles in the yard and we ended up going for a Lincoln Continental that hasn't missed a beat, and safely took us through the interior of BC, around the traps ..and safely back again!! i also checked out a couple of other dealers on the day and would highly recommend and guarantee excellent, efficient service with a smile and a great laugh too! ;-) the guys went to all lengths to ensure we were happy with everything before we left the yard and also agreed to repurchase the vehicle from us a a very reasonable price upon return...even if we put 10k kilometers on it (to which i was more than happy top hear!) apart from that the car was very reasonably priced. i will undoubtedly return to do business with these guys in the future!! great work Team

JJ Motors has a new manager and is no longer affiliated with Cris from CC Motors so anyone looking for a good used car should check out JJ Motors. The reviews do not reflect the management. Go see Chris at CC then go see John at JJ and figure it out for yourself.

I went to CC and the service was good. I got a good deal on a used car. yes it has high km but i knew what i was getting. they were upfront about any issues with the car, did get a used car check, and gave a 2 day money back guarantee. there is an issue with the brake pads as shown on the car check and they are getting those fixed for me. I am going to be driving across the country and feel like i will be safe in this car.

I bought a vehicle on Friday, March 18th from CC motors in Vancouver. Everyone greeted me as I walked on the lot. I was not "pounced on" by sales men as I looked around. When I had a question someone was quick to help. I was told I had 2 days to return the vehicle and I did come back the next day with some concerns. There was no argument at all, Chris was very quick to handle my return. I changed my mind and found a better vehicle for myself and in no time was on the road with a better car for me. Everyone was great and I feel totally comfortable going back if I have any concerns as well as recommending them to a friend.
Cheers,
Christina Bastiaanssen

After bouncing around from dealer-to-dealer, I finally felt more than satisfied at CC Motor Car Sales. The owner and the staff were able to accommodate my purchasing request prompting and efficiently. It has now been two days since my purchase and the vehicle has successfully and safely transported myself 650 kilometers up north to a city entitled Prince George. I must say, based on this achievement, it is one of the best investments I have made to this day. I recommend any individual that is planning on purchasing a used vehicle under 7 grand, to go see Chris and the boys as they can successfully satisfy your needs.

Oh the only down side is that "Chris" may charge a minuscule credit card usage fee ;) .. .however it is beyond his control (so he claims).

A CAR BUYER March 5, 2011

I am just a guy wanting to buy a car, get a good deal, and reliability. One thing I can say is that I do read reviews of a dealer before I go and I can assure you negative reviews will make me drive right past any car lot. Their is a lot of power in a review and from what I have read here some pretty serious accustations and bad reviews for one particular dealer......sorry, but I be driving right by on my car search.
