This restaurant gets full marks for everything. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service A-1, the food wonderful, presentation most appealing, and the view great! Who could ask for anything more. Can hardly wait to go back.

This is the second time we went to Compass for a family occasion, and once again we were delighted. The location is beautiful, the menu has something to tempt everyone, and everything was beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients. What really sets Compass apart is the friendly and knowlegeable staff. We had six adults and a restless seven-year-old, and the waiters and kitchen staff did a great job keeping everyone happy. We are eager to go back!

Compass is one of my most visited restaurants. When someone comes to visit, I always take them to Compass. The ambience is very nice and everyone enjoys having a meal by the lake. It has such a great view! And of course, the food is delicious. I think I tried majority of the items on the menu and they were all great!

I have had the most pleasent service and best food at the Compass lakeside Grill in Bronte. It is located on the lake and therefor the view is just as nice as the people who work there. We came for a birthday celebration on the Friday night and our table was waiting for us along with our server she was very attentive and pleasant which is sometime hard to find all in one server. Highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal with a view and friendly and staff it has it all going for it.

Service was professional, friendly and prompt. Like the new menu and drink recommendations. The view of the Bronte Marina from the patio is terrific on a sunny day.

If Compass were realestate it would win hands-down in the location,location,location category. Even if the meals were bad- the views would transcend that. But the food is good.
Stay away from the expensive holiday-inn style Sunday brunch...and order from the menu.We prefer weekday lunchtime..because weeknds have become crowded and service has been affected. The staff is pleasant- but a word to management. Stop telling young staff that patrons must BUY their water..because at almost five dollars a pitcher -it is unfiltered goodness. That sales pitch knocked you out of the Cucci, Julia's and Corks first class category. Sell your food,mixed drinks, and oh yes... that unbeatable Bronte view and everyone will keep coming back.

Six of us dined and drank tonight. The service was great. The flavours of the food was great. Very good presentation. The only beef was the salad we ordered, was dinner size and it seemed very small. Greens are cheap...fill the plate.

I am an Oakville resident and frequent diner at the compass lakeside grill and lounge and each time i have brought different friends and family and have always enjoyed my experience. From personable and attentive service staff, to equisite flavours at a reasonable price you cant go wrong. With the beaufirul patio and modern dining room, this is the best dining experience you will find in Oakville! Oh yes and try the wings....amazing!

I regularly visit the Compass Lakeside Grill and Lounge. Every visit I experience gracious hostesses and servers with attentive care. Then the Chefs and all the culinary team make amazing food with great presentation!!! They always have a variety in daily features including a fresh soups of the moment and desserts! The bartenders creates perfected cocktails and have knowledge of a variety in wines from around the world. To end the experience we were told that if we fill out a comment card we would receive a VIP card allowing us to save 10 percent per visit! I also Heard they may change the menu just a little and I can't wait

This past Saturday night my wife and I ventured to a beautiful restaurant in Bronte Harbour, Compass Restaurant. The food was great as per our server Ashleigh's' suggestions. I had the calamari (presented how I've never seen it before) and It was quite delicious and my wife had the Greek composition … wonderful. For dinner we had a striploin steak and a seafood past, both of which were also very good. To our surprise the was also live music (apparently every Saturday) so my wife and I enjoyed a bottle of wine whilst listening to a great due. (albeit it was a little loud) but very enjoyable. I recommend this establishment and will be returning again soon.

As we all know, the Compass has a breath taking view close to home which creates a beautiful dining experience year around but that is not the only reason why we keep coming back for our outings. The restaurant has a new and exciting menu and has had a complete renovation. On Saturday night, my husband and I as well as our close friends decided we wanted to listen to a live band and not just have your basic pub food. So, we heard that they had live music every Saturday night and wanted to see what this new place was really about. We have been coming here for years but have not been to the new restaurant yet. They have a wide variety of menu items to choose from as well as an extensive special list. I ended up ordering the Pickerel which was fabulous. Our table had a hard time deciding on which wine to complement our meal with and the bartender was very knowledgeable in this area and helped us with this decision. The bottom line is, if you want something with great taste and a sensible price you should try this restaurant. We will definitely be back soon!

Compass Lakeside Grill and Lounge is a spectacular place to eat amazing food, drink fabulous cocktails and wines and be simply impressed by the ambiance!

I will certainly be back to enjoy the menu which embodies local produce with wonderful little twists!
