We travel from North Burnaby to go to The Cutting Room. The price is reasonable, and every cut has been fabulous. We mainly have one stylist, but the place seems to be busy and that's a good sign.

When I phoned for an appt. the woman assured me that she too had naturally curly hair and said she knows how to cut with a razor - like I had asked.

She had curl in her hair but only from either a natural wave in her hair and a curling iron. She hacked at my hair like she was cutting through a forest and when I looked on the floor she begged me not to look on the floor. Clearly she didn't know what she was doing. Leave it to me to try a new hair salon - not to mention she wasn't really young nor old. She should have known better. Now my hair is alot thinner than I wanted it. I'm very disappointed.
