I have not been to another ophthalmologist clinic, so this may be an unfair assessment. However, over the 5-year period of visiting there on a regular basis, the average waiting time can be noted as 1 hour and more. There have been occasions where I waited nearly 2 hours for a 5 minute time with the doctor to look at my eye. In the initial stages of my visits, Dr. Demong showed concern and care. However, recently, he had trouble remembering why I was there for, nor even a simple smile or a friendly hello. It made me very feel very uncomfortable and not genuinely looked after. After an year of visits to prepare for a laser procedure, he concluded on my recent visit that I am not eligible for it, which I do not understand at all. He recommended me to go see an optometrist for a lens/glasses, when in the beginning, he clearly noted that they would be no use due to my corneal condition. I have come to believe that Dr. Demong is a very skilled and renowned eye surgeon. However, I honestly have to question his genuine concern for patients, and maybe his memory regarding details or his previous assessment, because they are contradictory.
