My wife and I shopped around for a used car for quite a while before we finally bought at Acura. The used car business is dirty! We met many salesman who we felt were trying to squeeze us or werent being honest.
When we finally saw a car online that we wanted being advertised on the Downtown Acura website, we were feeling pretty burnt out on dealing with shady car salesman and dealerships. Our experience at Acura was the complete opposite! The guys were straight shooters. Everything was above board. The negotiation process was fair, quick and easy. He was down to earth, honest, experienced in the car dealership business, and knowledgeable about the products. He spent the time necessary to make a good deal. I took my car to Downtown Acura for a body shop estimate.
Unfortunately, their estimate was more than my insurance company was willing to pay. I picked up my car and took it directly to another shop for an estimate on mechanical damage and re-certification. The second shop informed me that my windshield wipers were missing. I called Downtown Acura to ask about my missing wipers. They got very defensive, and informed me that "none of their people would ever take them".
Ok...but my windshield wipers are still missing, and they didn't take off by themselves.
