I attended our church 50th anniversary party Sunday Jan 15th with my family.

The food was excellent, the servers very helpful.

I am diabetic and when I mention that to the server he serve me a fruit plate for dessert without me asking I was very pleased.

I definitely recommend this place, everyone commented how excellent the food and service was.

I attended a formal dinner with my wife and son and his girlfriend, along with many out of town friends. The service was terrible with one half of the room getting their entrees while the other half had not received their salads or even dinner rolls. When you asked a waiter for something they were very rude in their reply. The waitress spilled a whole dinner on someone and did not apologize or offer to pay for the cleaning. There was no one in charge as the manager left the building part way through our dinner. Take a tip and don't waste your money and ruin your evening by having your event at Ellas.

My wife and I attended a formal supper at ELLAS on Saturday 14 Jan 2012. Though ELLAS claims an excellent reputation its performance Saturday night was dismal. The staff was disorganized, often impolite and to several patrons - downright vulgar. There was little evidence of supervision. The bar service was slow and at times simply non-existent. Half the banquet was served cold food by surly staff. Not value for money and certainly unpleasant. Client beware!!

We had an event on a Saturday evening. The food was cold, poorly prepared, and not traditional. The waitstaff was slow, un professional, surly, and not prepared. The ticket seller for the bar disappeared and we could not get a drink. The dessert was horrendous and not as advertised. We will move next years banquet elsewhere, perhaps McDonalds. At least there you know what you are getting.

We have been very satisfied costumers of Ellas Banquet Hall for the past 6 years. We had our wedding there in 2005 and the baptisms of our children there as well. At all times we have been treated like royalty- the service has been exceptional, the food delicious and hospitality of all the staff very welcoming. Zabeta and Lisa are very professional, accomodating and friendly. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making all of our special days memorable. We highly recommend Ellas for your next special function.

I had my wedding at Ellas on January 29,2011. I had never been to Ellas but it came highly recommended by a few friends and co-workers. Elizabeth and Lisa were both amazing to work with and helped me a lot with the planning. We had about 225 guests and they still rave about the phenomenal antipasto buffet we had...I too was blown away...the main was melt in your mouth yummy ( steak and shrimps). I can't say enough good things about this place. Thanks for a dream wedding!!

I was a guest at a wedding on April 16th, the food was excelled and the servers were very helpful and friendly. I have a dietary restriction that I had forgot to mention to the bride, the server accommodate me write a way. Definitely recommended

I had my wedding reception at Ellas March 26, 2011 and must say that they exceeded all my expectations. The staff was very friendly and courteous and Elizabeth and Lisa were both fantastic to work with, I hand hundreds of questions and they were great and oaten with me and helped ease the last minute jitters ...if either of one of u r reading this...thank you, thank you thank you.
The food was outstanding. Our antipasto buffet blew me away...my guests are still talking about it. The filet minion and shrimps were also amazing. We had approx 220 guests and everyone I spoke to raved about the food.

I would highly recommend this hall. It was my first time but my fiancée had been there for a few social events and loved it, I very happy we chose Ellas, itcouldnot have been more perfect event.

We had an appointment for a first communion. At the time we were not sure of how many guests. Approximately 40-65 guests but wanted to book early. On the phone they were very nice but when we went there the Older Witch gave us attitude and became quite rude said we could not have the hall unless we had 50 people. She waisted out time money and gas. Will not have anything to do with Ellas, there are many more banquet halls to deal with. We went with La Vedette and it was amazing, too bad for you Ellas in the end we had 75 guests in total.

My cousins wedding was held there last year, we had the Prime Rib. Just booked mine there for next year!

Was there for a Chistening in January, we had a combo dish with chicken and prime rib, food was great. Service was a little too rushed for me, I like to take my time.

Been there many times, never had a bad meal.

Had my wedding at Ellas 3 years ago, and have been back sevral times at other events. The service has been excellent, managers friendly and helpful, and the food amazing!

I have been to Ellas for several functions; weddings, christenings and Proms. Ellas has delivered everytime. I have not only been a guest at events, I have hosted events there a few time myself; and working with thier staff is effortless. The hall is your typical older hall, well maintained, clean and airy. But it is thier service and food that makes me recommend them over and over again. From A La Carte to Buffet Style events - the food is always excellent. They are a gem in the GTA. I highly recommend looking into them for your next event.
