I've been going to FC for the past few years. Before I went, I had a trusted hair stylist that I adored, but thought I'd give FC a try as I had heard many great things.
I have been going to Tina ever since. They know what they're doing, the staff have always been friendly and will always include you in what's going on.

I would definitely recommend FC to anyone and everyone, and I have been!

Being new to the Ottawa area, a colleague of mine with fabulous hair recommended FC. I went on the "first date" to see if there would be any chemistry for a long term relationship. I have never received so many compliments on my hair. Both Tanya & Jessie worked together to discuss the end result. The color and style is easy to maintain, compliments my face, and looks natural. The environment within FC is like a wonderful family and made me feel very welcomed.

I have been a client for the last 5-7 years and have never been disappointed in my cut or colour. The staff is always smiling and friendly. They always greet me by name and make me feel welcomed. Tanya does a fantastic job with my colour - my once or twice a year highlights always look natural. Dom is simply the King of Curls. All staff do extensive training and are up on the very latest techniques. I would not put my hair in anyone else's hands!

Walked into the salon with hair that was alive and had body and loads of volume. The colourist, Tanya got too busy chatting to her other customer about the latest gossip in HELLO magazine and the products she personally pushes in I gather her side business to pay attention and delegated somebody to colour my hair (trainee or wash girl).

Result - dead lifeless hair. Previous curly /wavey now limp, no shine. Ok mistakes happen. Let's give them a chance to fix this. I was advised on the phone by the receptionist (manager was out of town for the week) that it was neither incompetence nor cheap products and that colour was not the problem.

The owner did at least call me back upon my insistence and suggestion that client resolution training was in order and after a cordial chat we agreed to meet for a coffee. He would be in all day after 12 noon the next day. Went by at two and he wasn't in - but I was invited to come back at four to see him.

A very casual salon where the stylists seem more interested in their own self identified sense of absorbed celebrity and soap opera stars and clients clearly are just unintelligent nuisances who don't have the knowledge to recognize that sometimes your hair does just change overnight.

Disaster all the way around. My cut was acceptable and might actually look great - if my hair wasn't dead.

  Unfortunately, a friend of mine recommended this place and it was the worst hair experience I've had.
  
  There are actually chunks of hair missing on the side of my head because when cutting my bangs, the hairdresser put the scissors in too far and ended up cutting a chunk of hair that clearly shouldn't be included in the bangs.
  
  Again, the chatting within the salon seemed to take priority over providing good services.
  
  I won't be going back.

Fernando Cellini Salon is and always will be the best salon experience.Amazing team of colour techicians and stylist.

I used to get my hair done every month here... Until I move to California in 2003, and I still to this date nobody compares. They will forever be the best guys in the business for trends, personality and the service bar none...

The minute you step into FC Salon, you feel so welcomed. ALL the FC Crew are so sweet and kind. Every time I get my haircut done at FC I always leave with the biggest smile on my face. I feel like family when I walk into the Salon. I am so committed to getting my hair cut there, that even though I live abroad I book my appointments via FB letting them know I am coming into town so I can get my hair done. The vibe of FB Salon is so energized that you can't wait to get your hair done. You haven't experienced FC Salon you should DO IT!!!!

I walked into FC off the street in their first years of business, 12yrs later...I never leave dissappointed, I always walk out loving everything about my hair!! I can honestly say, all the staff are amazing( I've had the pleasure of all of them stepping in and willing to dry or style for me when I call on a whim). The staff is very well trained and take pride in keeping themselves educated on what's up and coming in the world of hair. The atmosphere and energy every time I go in is amazing!! Definately, a must do if you are thinking of trying somewhere new, you won't be disappointed and you will love the experience!! If you have curly hair...Domenico is your man!!

I am so glad I went here! I left the salon with the best hair style of my life! The colour and cut were both fantastic, the service was great, and although I'm kind of a low maintenance girl when it comes to my hair, the cut was so well done that it's easy enough for me to maintain. I'm definitely going back when I'm due for another cut/colour.

Amazing color....great cut and excellent staff who are very competant and current...what more could you ask for!!

I went to Fernando Cellini Hair Salon for the first time a few days ago and my whole experience was amazing. I got the nicest blond highlights and trendiest haircut i've ever had. My stylist was great and the staff was super nice and friendly. I was also there when they had a DJ and the vibe was really cool. And after all of that they even give you a make up applications. If you want to look absolutely fabulous, you have to check out this salon. Its definetely the hottest in the city.

I have super curly hair and they are trained to deal with it, the overall results were amazing I love my new cut!! P.s. ask for Dom

I've been around the block; texture, salon rouge, etc... and now, cellini... my stylist is okay, but for the most part it's sub par... they just don't seem to get it here in ottawa when it comes to style.

if i wanted stripey/ stripperesque hair, i'd just cross over to gatineau. i had hoped that the more high-end salons would have it figured out. fernando's is a big disappointment and oh-so-common. I'm trying the glebe next...
