VERY Upsetting Experience with Fine Details location in Barrie. I left the shop crying. I have a very important function on Friday night and need my 2005 Montana Van fully detailed. I am a Business traveller to Barrie and stay at the Best Western on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. I contacted the Barrie Location on April 28th to make an appointment for May 5th and expressed my urgency to ensure my vehicle is ready as soon as possible on Thursday morning and would drop my vehicle off on Wednesday evening as the employee told me he would start on it when he came in at 8:30 on the Thursday and would be ready by 11:00 – 11:30 am. I gave them my cell phone number to reach me at the Hotel and had arranged for a late check-out as I usually leave by 9:00 am. I dropped off my Spare keys for my vehicle on Tuesday May 4th and reminded them that I will need it as soon as possible on the Thursday as I was changing my schedule to have this done. I dropped the Van off and walked back to the hotel in the rain on Wed. May 5th. I received no calls so I left the hotel at 11:00 am today. I was soooooooo disappointed that my van was parked in the same spot I left it on Wednesday night! NOTHING WAS DONE! When I went inside to find out what happened. I was not given any reason. They were working on two vehicles and on their appointment book, I was the FIRST vehicle on the list, yet at 11:00 am they were working on the THIRD vehicle as it was a Yukon which was third on the appointment calendar. I was devastated! The cost quoted was $149.00 for inside detailing and $50.00 for outside wash and wax plus taxes. My husband wanted to see what type of Job they did and take our Suburban the following weeks to Barrie to detail. I guess they did not want me as a client as I will ensure that I let EVERYONE know how they certainly did not consider client service or TRY to remedy the situation! How could they have remedied this? They could have driven me to my client and worked my vehicle and drove me back to pick it up!

    I hate when companies break their promises!!

    That sucks bigtime! Demand your money back! Also prehaps try Classic on Anne Street. I have heard they do an amazing job..dunno myself as I don't drive but, I haven't heard anything bad. Hope the rest of your day went better!
