"So ... would you like to join us for dinner tonight?" came out of ray over the phone and i coudn't belive what i heard. I got invited for a dinner with Caridee .. something i have been wanting but wasn't allowed and therefore was naggin my boyfriend for a while. (she became a spokeperson for the psoriasis assosiation in canada - program run by ray's company)
YES!!! .. so i finally get down there, after having a wardrobe crises of course and didnt' know what to expect .. the huge smile on my face would tell how excited i was to meet her. And there she was .. sitting at the table, all cute and "bubbly".
Dinner was excellent, service exceptional, food absolutely delishious, everything we ordered was really flavourful, with simple yet beautiful presentation. I had the beef carpacho, my favorite from 5 doors north, but this one just might have been a bit better :-) Followed by the pork something, so tender and juicy with a puree of coliflower and sauteed onions on some sweet reduction ... i had to eat the whole thing!!
I didn't have time to take photos of all the food we had, didn't wanna flash into people's plates with my camera .. mostly since this was a business meeting and i was only the guest, i was instructed to behave myself .. so i tried :-)
Regardless .. the evening was topped with sweet tray of small chocolate samplers .. i didn't have any since i was really stuffed but CariDee cleared off the plate in seconds!! .. i was really happy to see her eat so much ... just another thing that made her a real gal :-)
What else can i say ... amazing night in an upscale invironment.

but i do have to say she wasn't all done up and after a long day of media trainig pretty tired & pooped .. the next day she had the interviews and she looked stunning .. i definitely wouldn't catch up .. (unless i had the make up artists & hair people do their magic on me as well that is? ;-)..perhaps? ok don't bust my hopes here lol )

The pictures are gorgeous & I have to agree with Kat, you're so much more prettier than Caridee anyday, hands down!
