I am floored. Purchased a $200 headphone set, so did my friend. My friend decides minutes later, while still in the store, he wants the earphones and purchase the ones that cover your ears. They scan the box and it's not in their system??? We just bought them minutes ago. The manager comes over and scans the my box and my friends and they are not in the system. The manager continues to accuse us of trying to return a HOT product!!! He starts to point out the box looks different than the white headphones box - that the colour of the mans face on the box is for the white headset is darker???
Emailing email@example.com and complaining and I want my money back. I will NEVER shop at Futureshop again!
I MUST SAY, I HAVE OWNED MANY ELECTRONICS AND WHEN THEY HAD ISSUES MOST PLACES DEALT WITH THEM QUICKLY AND APPROPRIATELY.
ON THE OTHER HAND, I RECENTLY BOUGHT 2 COMPUTERS FROM FUTURE SHOP AT YONGE AND EGLINTON AND ONE SYSTEM WAS HAVING A NUMBER OF ISSUES AND THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE READY WITHIN A DAY 2 TOPS.
I WAITED 5 DAYS AND I WAS TOLD THEY'D CALL ME WHEN THE UNIT WAS READY. INSTEAD I HAD TO CALL THE STORE 4 TIMES.
ONCE I GOT MY SYSTEM BACK, THERE WERE MORE ISSUES THEN WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN TO THEM.
THEY HAD THE COURAGE TO SAY SORRY FOR THE ISSUES BUT BRING IN YOUR SYSTEM IN AGAIN.
I DO NOT THINK THIS IS BY ANY MEANS DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE RATHER IT'S ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.
I HOPE THAT PEOPLE WHO SHOP AT FUTURE SHOP WILL READ THIS AND RECONSIDER DEALING WITH A STORE THAT DOES NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE THEY PROMISE.
ON TOP OF THAT I ACTUALLY PURCHASED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. IF IT TAKES 5 DAYS TO DO A WINDOWS REINSTALL, I WONDER HOW LONG IT OWULD TAKE THEM TO FIX A MORE SERIOUS ISSUES.
