Garbers Bridal ruined my Wedding because I ordered my wedding dress plus my braidmaids dresses at this store in London we waited 6 to 7 months to get the bridesmaids dresses and when they did they were 5 sizes to big for my girls. Asked the lady to take them back and she refused and then she sent the dresses to my girls in shoe boxes another time I was in there with my sister in law trying on my wedding dress and the girls there walked all over my train could not beleive this was happening know she saids that she wants me to take my dress out of the store without having it cleaned or any alterations done with it I will never shop at this store again nor would I recommend it to anybody else horrible place.

    Hard to Believe...

    I read your review & was totally shocked, I can't believe that this is acually what happened. I was recommended to Garbers by two other people who had excellent experiences. I have dealt with Garbers for my wedding (March 2010), my sister's wedding (summer 2009) & recommended them to many friends & family. I have never heard of anything bad. Sometimes you are only treated with as much respect as you give.

    My sister went here to look for dresses and told me the salespeople made her feel fat and dumpy. Just because my sister is fat and dumpy, does not mean she should not be deluded into thinking she can look better just by wearing a fancy dress... for shame!

    I am a plus size bride and i purchased my wedding gown at Garbers. They have a great selection of wedding gowns for the larger size bride. They helped me and went above and beyond, they made me feel like a princess, I can hardly wait to wear my gown in June.

    I don't think you have any right to disrespect someone based on the review they've given. You aren't the one who has gone through the terrible experience, therefore you shouldn't assume that "Dox" had treated "them" a certain way to have received the service she did. Bad customer service does exist and reviews like these make businesses aware of the service their customers have received, good or bad.

    The owner or manager of Garbers "Angelaward" is on here defending all the bad reviews. Where she should be reading the reviews, and asking how to improve the situation, so it doesn't happen again. I used to work for a company, where the techs started a union. Do you know the owner, never asked why (why the guys wanted to start a union), he just defended his bad behaviour. And this Angelaward is doing the same thing. I think Angelaward needs to be a mystery shopper to the bridal store just down the street from their location (go see Pam) and then you will understand why Garbers keeps getting bad reviews.
