I have been to several salons on the North Shore and nobody can cut hair like Shaun, the owner of Hatz Hair Studio, can. Not only did I get a stylish and perfect cut, I really enjoyed the experience at the salon. It is a funky, upbeat place with lots of laughter. I highly recommend this salon! Thanks Shaun for the amazing cut!

I have found the owner Shawn to be courteous, attentive and professional. My daughter had one of the best haircuts ever with him and she has been to Suki's amongst others. It's hard to imagine we are both talking about the same stylist! I'm sorry you had such a bad experience, but he was great with my daughter.

I received what was perhaps the worst haircut of my life from Hatz. To further add insult to injury, the employees treated me poorly after I told them I was displeased with my haircut.

I *highly* recommend that you steer clear of Hatz.

My teenage daughter and I have been clients of Brittney at Hatz and we just adore her and more importantly her evident colouring skills; I have paid over $300 for a colour downtown and Brit is so much better at a fraction of the price. So, if we love Brit and her skills why don't we still go to Hatz right? Well, basically the owner...I don't know his name, he is the reason neither my daughter or myself will ever go back there or recommend his establishment. He yells and screams at his team infront of their clients, having the girls in tears. This is not a relaxing, spa like experience. Quite frankly I would rather have a root canal than give him my business and listen to this self opinionated, chauvinistic megalomaniac.
