AWESOME!! December 6, 2012

Since the new manager has taken over there is such a good vibe at Hyatt Mitsubishi. There are three times as many technicians, the service staff are so upbeat and freindly. I will never go anywhere else again.

I have been servicing my Eclipse all over looking for a good place to go. After hearing Hyatt was under new management I gave it another try. I am impressed!! The price is reasonable. They even picked up and dropped off my car when it was done.

SHADY SHADY SHADY!! October 20, 2011

My wife and I bought a used vehicle from Hyatt Saturn (Now Hyatt Mitsubishi, but same shady sales people and managers). The sales person was great to begin with until issues began to arise then it was "sorry I cant help you with any of that, I'll get the manager to call". After the purchase we had issues with the front end and when it was taken in for repairs (thankfully we bought extended warranty) we were told it was from our driving habits and had to fight to get it covered. We had a second issue with the fornt and was accused of the same thing again. We just recent found out while trying to sell the car that it had been in an accident with over $5500 damage to the front end. I had Point Blank asked when we bought it if it had been in any accidents and was told "absolutely not, we have to disclose that if it had". Now trying to get anything out of the management has been painful to say the least. Their last comment to us was "Just go through AMVIC because we have never in 30 years dealt with anything like this". After reading reviews, it seems as though this is a common occurance with this dealer. DO NOT deal with them. This is type of Management and service is exactly why the automotive industry as a whole has a bad name. I feel sorry for the reputable dealers with this type of dealer doing business.

I had been to many dealerships in the automall that morning, and I had the horrible customer service with every dealership. No one said Hello or even acknowledged that we were in the building untill we went to someone, the sales person that we talked to wouldnt even listen to any of our concerns and kept trying to sell us something that that they claimed was the best deal. Not something that we were nessesarily looking for. When we got to Hyatt Mitsubishi, the receptionist greeted us as we walked in the door with a wonderful smile! It was a refreshing to have someone talk to us first and be so cheerful! The receptionist told us that all of her sales persons were with clients but as soon as one became availble she would send them over. She offered us coffee and told us we could play around with the cars, she said that she had information packages on all the cars we were considering. Maybe about 10 mins later we had a sales person. He greeted us and apologized for the wait. He asked us what we were looking for, what we wanted out of our car, and of course our needs and wants in a car. He listened to our concerns and made us feel comfortable with the cars. We NEVER once did we feel pressured to buy anything we didnt want. Matthew our Sales person, told us of all of our options with every vehicle we looked at. We NEVER felt pressured to buy, rushed, or frustrated with our experience at Hyatt Mitsubishi.

It was a great experience here! I reccomend them to my friends and family!!!

In April 2011,I purchased a used vehicle from Hyatt Wholesale in Calgary. Hyatt Mitsubishi next door managed the financing arrangements. One week after signing the papers, I was reviewing the documents and came across a charge for optional loan insurance worth $2626. My signature was on the form, and I remember him explaining the form to me but don't remember him saying that it was optional or that there was a separate charge for it. I made an appointment to discuss it and he told me that it was mandatory insurance that the banks required to make the loan secured. He said I can make changes at any time and circled a number on the form to call. First I called TD Financing Services. They told me that it is absolutely not mandatory and 100% optional. I called the insurance company and cancelled the insurance. They said to cancel, it would cost $100 in administration fees and because it had been over 10 days since the transaction, they had to charge me for one month of insurance. I don't know if there would be the same administration charges if I cancelled within 10 days. I then called the dealership and asked them why they didn't mention that the insurance was optional, that it came at an absurd cost, or that it could be cancelled. He took no responsibility and said that I should have read what I was signing, and that he cannot control what the insurance company charges for cancellation fees. I explained that the salesman seemed to be explaining everything very clearly, and I was paying close attention to what he was saying but if I had known the details of the insurance, there is no way that I would have agreed to it. He said there is nothing he can do and would not compensate me for the $150 charged to me. They must get commission on the the total amount including the loan insurance.

I recently purchased a vehicle that I really like from Hyatt Mitsubishi and was appalled at the amount of time I had to spend trying to understand the nonn transparent pricing of the vehicle.

Based on their bill of sale, I would have had to pay double the delivery inspection and outrageous fees related to VIN etching and other costs. Also, their MSRP didn’t even match what Mitsubishi Canada states on their website, which leads me to believe that this dealership is praying on unsuspecting buyers.

Although the service was fair and they did hear out my concerns with regards to pricing, I caution individuals to clearly review any pricing presented by this dealership and mandate clear, transparent breakdowns of the vehicle purchase price. My recommendations would be to ask to review the MSRP sticker on the vehicle when you sit down to discuss pricing to ensure there are no hidden “unexplainable” fees.

THEY SURE DO SUCK! August 1, 2010

Do yourself a favor. Stay as far away from the shady dealer. They screwed me over on my 2010 outlander. Very sneaky. The business office is shady and trade to sneak 2700 dollars of insurance in my loan saying the banks want to see it on there. Lol be careful with their biweekly tactics. Worse experience ever. Go to red deer Mitsubishi or platinum on Barlow . I hate shady dealers. Spread the word. We can't let shady dealer stay in business. After my experience and telling people I know I have come to find many others that have had the same experience there. They have crazy fees and try to double charge u on tire and pdi. You don't have to take etch fee! 300 bucks for a sticker lol. My buddies uncle bought a pre owned there and they didn't tell him it was in a massive car crash. and the breaks were at 30% on the front. Lol call amvic if you ever run in to a shady dealership. Always try to buy from a stand alone dealer not from dealers who are apart of a large group of dealers. Stand alone dealers give better service and don't screw u over. Your their bread and butter. Nothing has chAnged at hyatt they say they have a new team to better serve you lol the only thing that has changed is the sales men that were there have now told them to go f**k them self-selves with their shady scams and now they have new sales people.'and they will be gone soon as they realize that screwing customers is not fun. Remember the sales men have no control in this situation. It's the management and gm Paul Johnson and Ron Anderson . And stefan in the business office. I sold cars in the earlier 90s and would never work for a company like this. My freedom of speech and a power to word of mouth advertising !!!!!

I recently bought a 2009 Lancer from Hyatt Mitsubishi in Calgary AB. The deal went well until they took my $1000 deposit. After that, it seemed like they could care less about me and my business. One person in particular became so unreasonable that he actually raised his voice to me during two incidents. These incidents were minor disputes about the pick-up date and a charge that was supposed to be waived. The man obviously has poor customer service skills and has earned Hyatt a bad name in my books. Had they not had my deposit I would have walked out of there.

    ME TOO!

I'm in Ottawa Ontario. I purchased my Lancer in Dec 2009. As soon as the dealing was done, and the papers were signed, WORSE customer service ever. Delivery date promised was one week late, the car came in with damages (which their response was "I don't understand why you're so pissed off"). When I installed my summer tires, I noticed the car did not come equiped with lock nuts, a tire iron, OR a jack. To which they replied "That's impossible!"... Grrrr... Good thing I like my car, but I can tell you none of my friends and family will be dealing with this dealership.
