I had purchased some flowers late last week and was absolutely NOT satisfied with what I received. I ordered flowers off their website to be delivered to a funeral home and was SHOCKED when I saw what I paid for. The basket was INCREDIBLY small and full of the cheapest flowers you can buy...CARNATIONS!!! Then I asked for same day delivery (as long as my order is placed by 12....which it was!) only to find out that it's only an estimate and they can't quarantee it...AFTER I paid for the flowers!!! They didn't deliver the flowers until the next day at 6 when the viewing was almost over! THEN, the card that I asked to be included with it wasn't even printed and on the basket so the greiving family had no idea I sent the incredibly tiny basket of flowers that cost me over $100.00! I was VERY upset and will never EVER buy from here again. I assume they'll delete this post because it's true and they don't want anyone to see it but I'll be sure to post this on the internet and other reviews.
Shame on you for charging so much and for saying you can deliver it for a certain time and you deliver it 30 hours late!!! It was a funeral for goodness sake!! Show some mercy!
After receiving the flowers, i noticed that they were completely the wrong ones! I had ordered a fall arrangement with roses and lilies and a "better" cost. What i had received was nothing like the photograph. The lilies were all closed up and the arrangement looked terrible, with a mixture of colors that i didn't even order. (Red, White, Orange) I even ordered the "better" version of the bouquet and it was a complete waste of money. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother upgrading your bouquet. When I saw this I immediately sent them an email with a picture of my bouquet explaining how unhappy i was with the arrangement. I didn't get a email back or a phone call. So i took the liberty to phone them myself and what I heard was shocking especially because i am a customer. The lady on the phone basically told me that it wasn't her fault and that the colors i wanted had run out, so they made substitutions. Even though substitutions are understandable it clearly states on their website that the colors shown in the online catalog should be used, even if this means substituting other kinds of flowers of equal value. So basically, in plain terms she told me that their website was falsely advertising, because they had an entire section dedicated to "autumn" flowers which they did not have. They also failed to notify me that they were going to replace the colors with different ones and they couldn't even exchange the flowers because they didn't have anything available in equal value. After sending her another email with a picture of the bouquet, she called me back and said that she would exchange them with flowers that had a lesser value but the same colors. I said to forget it. Terrible service. I will never use their company again.
Ital florist ruined my wedding! I just had my wedding and we spent extra money so that our center pieces would stand out. They made promises and showed us pictures of what it would look like which was agreed was to be a high floral arrangement. The arrangements came the flowers were all lopsided and with no height eventhough we paied extra for more flowers. It looked liked someone just threw the flowers together with no care of arranging them properly. I had to physicaly go myself to the tables and try to fix them because they were so poorly done. Not to mention they threatened to charge us for the rental vases they "claim" were lost when they picked it up from the hall and were "our" responsibility and who knows who misplaced them. They were extremely rude when we voiced how disappointed we were and would not return our calls because in my opinion they got paied and really could care less or take ownership that they did not fulfill at all what they promised.
I would NEVER recommend this florist to anyone!!!!Reply
My boyfriend is away and used the internet to send flowers. They waited over a week to try to fill the order, then tried to do it last minute. She ruined the surprise by telling me EXACTLY what was coming. After finding a florist, who had to scrape the bottom of the barrel at the last minute, the flowers arrived a day late.
We agreed on a colour change, but she didnt listen when I stated PINK and decided to mix them. The colours look like carnival colours of awful cotton candy, poorly arranged, and you can see they are hurredly thrown together. They were even wilting before I even got them.
When we contacted them, the lady wouldnt take responsibility and provided even more poor service. The flowers are ugly, and I want my boyfriend to get the refund promised on the website if we are unsatisfied.
Don't order from ItalFlorist if you expect good service, and professional attitudes if something goes wrong. Expect to have the finger pointed in your face for blame when all you did was hand them a fortune for their "high quality" (HA!) flowers.
I just placed an order for a baby gift at Ital Florist. I browsed their website looking for the perfect bouquet of flowers.. but I changed my mind when I found the cutest thing! It's a blue teddy bear that comes with a photo frame and a little book, all wrapped up in a little blue matching gift bag. The Lady that I spoke with was so nice! My gift will be delivered before 6 o'clock tonight!

Nothing's worse than ordering something that you hope will be beautiful, such as flowers for a new mom/baby & then when you go up 2 the hospital 2 visit the new arrival, you're absolutely horrified to see the "arrangement" sent by the florist you trusted & you're sincerely embarrassed by what they've signed your name to!
That's awesome finding something so unique to send & the fact that it will be sent out by 6 tonite!
Believe me, I'm positive the mom/baby will treasure what you've chosen & it will last so much longer than flowers! ( I still tell my boys the 'story' behind a certain picture frame, teddy bear, etc that we received when they were born! They love to hear the story behind the treasured item & it always means alot to them!)

Its so nice to hear great comments on company's that addresses all of one's concerns. And when they combine that with what appears to be amazing customer service - well it only adds to the gift. All in all it sounded like a great experience.
Yours truly..."Mr.Wonderful" has to give a shout out to Ital Florist. While there have been a few comments on various flower shops listed in this directory (and I believe they are all deserving of praise), this North Etobicoke florist is a shining example of how to do business in this fast - instant - I need it yesterday - world we live in.
A brief indulgence please... There I was in a panic, looking for the perfect gift to send on behalf of a very close business associate to a third party and wouldn't you know... it was time sensitive.
So I called up Ital Florist and asked if they could design a little somethin' somethin' and have it delivered out to Oakville by this afternoon.
Well not only did they exceed my expectations by designing a custom floral arrangement, and had it delivered to the Oakville address in the allotted time frame - (1.5 hrs. from the time order placed to delivery), and within the budget, but my associate received a phone call from the floral recipient giving thanks, complimenting on the arrangement, the type of flowers selected, the beauty, and how it brought the room to life.
"Mr. Wonderful" in turn received a call from "the associate" and "a promise" of a late nite rendezvous. (I think I've just..."sealed the deal")lololol
I'm not saying that this stroke of luck will happen for all that uses Ital Florist but hey...it doesn't hurt to use or know a florist that is dependable, affordable, and creative. I'm certainly going to have to get them to recreate that arrangement for future emergencies.
Now if I could only get "Pamela Anderson" to order flowers through me...aaahhhhhhhh
