I am not sure if the quality of food and service differs depending on the type of event but if I were to base my opinion on solely the baby shower I attended - This venue would score very low. It was held in one of the smaller rooms for about 50 ppl.

The chicken entree was cold, overcooked and dry with little to be desired in terms of flavour and taste.

The service was lacking as servers seemed inexperienced and inattentive.

Pasta course tasted good but portion was so small. The servers gave each guest one small scoop of penne pasta leaving many guests hungry. I also noticed that there was plenty of pasta left in which the servers could have at least given each guest 2 or 3 scoops to fill their plate.

Overall, I would not recommend this venue. For a small party or baby shower, at least.

Last friday my wife and me celebrated our daughter 15th. birthday.This venue was just perfect for the party.The staff was friendly and the food was amazing.We would highly recommend this place.Great experience.

My wife and I went to a wedding over the weekend at La Primavera and had a wonderful experience. The venue was ideal for a wedding, nice reception area and large main room. The food was amazing, the music incredible and everyone had a great experience.

I got married in November 2009 and the evening went on perfectly because of La Primavera. We were amazed at how much work the staff will actually do for you like setting up centrepieces, putting out party favours, being aware of which tables have vegetarians. It was amazing.
I received a large amount of compliments for the food. It was tasty and endless. The prime rib was the talk of the evening. Also, I was amazed that they sent home all the left over cakes from the sweet tables. We were able to give at least a half of cake to each family that attended the brunch the next day.
The staff ensured periodically that my wife and I were happy and if we wanted anything they would get it for us. LA PRimavera even has a beautiful suite for the bride and groom to stay in which was extremely convenient. I whole heartedly recommend La Primavera and so would the 230 guest that we had at the wedding.
