Went to the Oshawa Centre Majic cuts shortly before 2pm. The lone stylist told me the girl I was looking for was not in today. Although she had NO other customers in the store she told me she could not take me until 2:30. I asked her for a card so I could phone the next day but she had no business cards. She did however tear off a sheet of paper and write down the stylist's name and hours. I walked away.
Five minutes later I returned and told her since I was already there I would take the 2:30 appt. She said fine and walked away.
When I returned at 2:27 there were other stylists and customers there. When I said to the stylist I was back she informed me I did not have an appt. According to her I did not leave my name (she never asked for it) and so I was out of luck.She actually walked away from me at the counter muttering that she had already taken the time to write down the other stylist's name and hours.
I left in shock and embarassment at how rude she was.
Thought I could drop in while I was shopping in the area. The staff seemed so disinterested and bored. I figured for 16 bucks what can i lose. Just put a bowl on my head and buzz it, thats what they did. Never again.
The hair cutters there did an amazing job at cutting my hair the way I wanted it. I went from having nasty, thick, unmangable hair to having this amazing thin, managable, pretty, stylish hair. It gave me a COMPLETELY new look. They gave me EXACTLY what I asked for, and still half a year later, my hair still looks amazing.
I have been seeing Barb for a few years now and not only does she do my hair the exact way i ask everytime, she does an awesome job giving me a razor cut..which takes alot of skill..she doesnt take long and is always friendly and courteous as are all of the other girls that work there..I have had nothing but great experiences there and will continue going there as long as Barb is there..they also do a great job on my son's hair as well...thanks :)
MY DAUGHTER AND I HAD THE MOST HORRIBLE HAIR CUTS. THE STYLIST WHO CUT OUR HAIR WAS ALSO THE MANAGER. THERE ARE CHUNCKS OF HAIR MISSING FROM BOTH OF OUR HEADS. SHE INSISTED SHE DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO WASH MY HAIR ONLY WET IT WITH A SPRAYER, I STILL HAD TO PAY FULL PRICE FOR THE WASH. FORTUNATLY, WE WENT BACK THE NEXT DAY AND ANOTHER STYLIST TRIED HER BEST TO FIX THE HACK JOB AND WE THANK HER. MINE ISN'T AS NOTICABLE BECAUSE OF THE LAYERS. THE MANAGER ALSO TOLD THE OTHER STYLIST THAT WE REQUESTED HER. WE DID NO SUCH THING. I WOULD HAVE WAITED FOR ANOTHER SYLIST AND A PROPER HAIRCUT.
