When we needed our ducts cleaned I began the search for a reputable service provider. After a considerable search I decided on OPADC...then I read the review posted by the dissatisfied customer. Concerned, I contacted OPADC and received a very open response, including an offer to send a different serviceman should I decide to use them. I decided to use the same serviceman and now know why he is considered their best. He was prompt, pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. Someone must have been having a bad day when the other customer used him! We will definitely be repeat OPADC customers.

We recently had our ducts cleaned by OPACD and were VERY satisfied with the service we received. After reading the one negative review I was debating my inclination to have OPACD do our ducts for fear of having that same serviceman. When I contacted OPACD I was told that he was their best serviceman, but they would gladly send another to do our ducts if I so chose. Based on the reply I received from OPACD I decided that I wanted the same serviceman as the customer who had been dissatisfied. The only thing I can say is that someone must have had a very bad day when he serviced their ducts. Our experience was that he was prompt, pleasant, very knowledgeable and professional. We will be repeat customers.

We recently had Ontario Power Air Duct Cleaning come out and clean our air ducts before moving into our new home. Our experience was quite opposite from the other reviewer (fortunately). They showed up right on schedule as expected. We were also very impressed with the professionalism and speed of our technician. He took the time to explain the process to us and even showed us the "before" and "after" view of our ducts to see how well the job was done. He even went above and beyond by helping to repair a duct vent that wasn't nailed to the wall properly (kept coming loose) - we didn't even ask and he made sure it was done right. He explained any additional services (at optional cost) and there were not discrepancies in the price we paid from the price we were originally quoted. We would definitely do business again with Ontario Power Air Duct Cleaning...they've clearly improved in the last year since the other bad review.

After doing extensive research, I booked an appointment with this company. The technician that showed up was rude, sarcastic and had a very horrific attitude. Upon entering, I had wanted to place a sheet on the carpet (as we just carpet cleaned) and from then on, it went downhill. Apparently, the tech was offended. After moving our cars out of the way, I asked the tech for his name (he didn't introduce himself), nor explain what he was about to do. When I saw him cutting large holes in the vents, I was concerned and asked if it would be left like that. He said he would seal them up, after I had paid him! He quoted his price to me twice and twice reminded me that he was from "Ontario Power Air Duct Cleaning" NOT Ontario Duct Cleaning. When I asked him about the infrared camera inspection, he said it was "extra." When we showed him the website page, stating it was free, he started a debate with my husband, "Yes, it's OPTIONAL, do you want it, yes or no???" At that point, we'd had ENOUGH. I was angry and upset and told him not to talk to us that way, it wasn't right and I was not comfortable with him doing the service and could he please leave our house. I called the office back to tell them and was told the owner would like to speak with me. I arranged a time for him to call (9-11 am). At 10:45, I had enough and had to leave, so I called the office to tell them. Sure enough, the tech had his side of the story and of course, the owner was siding with him. Apparently, the most appalling part is that this tech is the most requested??? I'm sure this tech has learned his lesson and smartened up since we "finally" told him off, so I'm quite sure he will be nothing but polite in the future and the owner believes this. Very sad since this company is listed on the Mike Holmes website. Very sad indeed. I WILL not ever refer this company to anyone. In my personal opinion and experience, be WARY!

  Their website also says satisfaction guaranteed....It doesn't seem like they tried to make sure you were happy with their services... and you are right.. their website does say "To complete our job we can offer an optional infrared video inspection of the cleaned main supply lines at no extra cost"
